There is so much to recap tonight so I am not going to go into excruciating detail because I am already behind and I know y’all like these recaps up as soon as possible. I think we should drink every time Bethenny whines about her life or cries. Cheers!
It’s raining and NYC and Bethenny is whining about it. DRINK! Bethenny is whining about her living situation. DRINK! Bethenny is whining about being tired. DRINK!
Carole and Heather
Carole and Heather ride together to the Hamptons. Carole says she has become good friends with Luann. The girls talk about Ramona’s divorce and how well she is doing. Heather is still not thrilled with Sonja.
Dorinda and Ramona arrive at her house in the Hamptons. It looks like she might get it in the divorce. The Hamptons are beautiful but I don’t see what makes them so fantastic other than it’s close to NYC and on the water. Dorinda says everyone knows of Sonja, she’s kind of an urban myth on the upper east side. They both think Sonja is in denial.
Sonja arrives with bags of food to share. Sonja calls Ramona divorced and she is not. She seems to take offense. It seems like everyone is looking for a reason to hate Sonja. Sonja seems like the same old Sonja to me. Sonja is a bit pissy that she is not in her regular room because Ramona gave it to Dorinda.
Ramona, Sonja, and Dorinda go out for lunch and Ramona and Sonja do their usual bickering. We meet Tanya, Ramona’s sister. She seems shockingly normal.
I would KILL BABIES to go to Luann’s estate sale in The Hamptons. If I recall last week she said she downsized and is selling the place she had with the Count.
Ramona sobs and apologizes for all the horrible things she said to Luann. Luann says it will take her some time, but she forgives Ramona.
At Luann’s new house Carole meets Luann’s hot new personal chef, Adam. It is unbeknownst to them the beginning of a relationship. Luann’s new house is beautiful!
Is it me or did Kristen just show up in the picture somehow? Where did she come from?
Carole hangs out in the kitchen slicing tomatoes with Adam, making her move as all the ladies arrive to the housewarming. I have a feeling I am going to feel badly for Sonja this season. She seems to know she is being ostracized.
Heather tells us in her talking head that she met Bethenny on her talk show and they seemed to hit it off. Poor Heather you have no idea. Yet.
Bethenny cannot commiserate with the other ladies about traffic because she flew in to the Hamptons, I assume on a private yet. Not that I blame her, she can certainly afford it. Dorinda too seems mesmerized by Bethenny.
Carole managed to burn herself trying to look like she knows how to cook. Carole is also in love with Bethenny.
And things go badly with Heather and Bethenny already. Bethenny signed her first book to Luann and said that Luann helped her get the margarita mix just right. Heather informs Bethenny that she owes Luann a car for this. Bethenny says Luann happened to be at the right place at the right time when she was just developing her drink. Heather says if she sold Yummy Tummy for $50 million she would buy her girlfriend who helped her name the company a car.
Bethenny seems to think the phrase “keeping the company of men” means screwing a lot of guys. She must be projecting. It just means hanging out. So now Bethenny is going after Heather and Ramona at the same function. The first group function I might add. Bethenny and Ramona can’t seem to have a normal conversation. Bethenny invites Sonja over for brunch and Ramona is pissed because Sonja is a guest of Ramona and she had her own plans for her houseguests.
Bethenny storms out of the party over the whole #BrunchGate thing. Bethenny has been nothing but an uppity bitch on this entire episode.
Ramona comes out and tries to apologize. Bethenny responds with, “Can I just say something? I don’t really want to hang out with you. You’re obviously going through something …” Bethenny looks like an ass. Ramona looks like Ramona always does.
