On Ask Andy recently, he was asked what is going on with him and Kathy Griffin. Did they have a falling out? She is never on WWHL anymore and there have been no new specials.
Andy gives a weird sigh of disinterest and says, ” Yeah I know. (pause) Did we have a falling out? Not that I know of. (dumb Andy face) Although you never know. /shrug
The chick says “It’s true you never know with her she could be hating on you right now…”
Andy, “I’m sure she is, maybe she hates me… you never know.” He’s chewing gum. Why does he do that? What is with Americans and their gum?
On WWHL, with Ellen Barkin and Anderson Cooper, Andy seems to announce that Cooper is a bottom, which I am not sure has ever been verified before. This is a show that Cohen called his besties in for because someone cancelled last minute. It’s like three best friends getting drunk on TV. Anyway, this is not a show I would normally recap, although it is good, but I think the topic of Kathy Griffin is going to come up. And I want to know what is going on with Andy and Kathy, because it seems that AC still loves Kathy, but Cohen perhaps not so much. LOL someone just checked Andy for only giving bathrobes to his favorites. It’s so true, I can’t believe he read that. https://youtu.be/isEzM4bZM4E
Okay so the Kathy stuff happened on the damn AFTER SHOW. Here is the gist of it. Someone calls and asks AC what he thinks about Kathy leaving Fashion Police. AC gives a general AC type response, he loves Kathy, and wishes nothing but the best for her and he thinks she will go on to bigger and better things.
Then Cohen jumps in and says “I think it was the pot calling the kettle black..”
AC says, “What does that mean?”
Cohen says, ” She said oh I don’t want to make fun of people. This show is about making fun of people. And the reason everyone loves Kathy Griffin is because she makes fun of people, constantly.”
AC says, “Really? She does it in a different way.”
Yeah, Kathy is nastier about it. She has a mean schtick to her comedy a lot like Joan Rivers did. Very similar comedic styles.
Cohen says if it wasn’t working, just say it wasn’t working. AC says he doesn’t know that it wasn’t working Cohen says “It wasn’t working.” Cohen says don’t making about the body shaming make it about what it was about. AC tries to give his polite responses and finally says that he is Team Griffin and Cohen is not going to get him to say anything bad about Kathy. Cohen denies that he would ever do such a thing. AC says Cohen loves to stir the pot. Barkin is pantomiming heavy pot stirring. AC says “This is what a party at Andy Cohen’s house is like!” He loves to stir the pot. Both AC and Ellen start stirring the pot motions. They both talk about how Andy always invites one or two people who are going to get drunk and get into a heated argument. Cohen doesn’t seem to be pleased with his two BFFs outing him as a shit stirrer and is adamantly denying he does such a thing.
Andy Cohen professes his undying love for Kathy. He says that has seen all her standup specials. They all appeared on Bravo. He loves how she makes fun of Rene Zellweger and Oprah and his wonky eye. He just can’t understand why she would use not wanting to body shame someone as a reason to leave the show. It’s what she does! And of course Andy is correct.
Then AC says if he is being honest he doesn’t understand some of the other people on Fashion Police. Andy says well that’s a whole nuther issue. AC said he would watch that show for Kathy Griffin. Some of the other people when he watched he said, “I don’t get why this person is on television.” WOAH some shade from AC! The Ellen Barkin is all like, can we change the subject?
Who do you think AC is talking about? I think it is Kelly. Because really why is she on television? But it could be Giuliana I guess.
I have been intending to discuss this whole Fashion Police debacle here. I was pretty pissed off about the whole “patchouli oil” is a racial slur bullshit. Patchouli oil is that God Awful smell that all the incense in the 70s smelled like. It’s what the hippies used to mask the spell of pot back in the day. It’s not something that has been relevant for the several DECADES and had nothing to do with black people other than the ones that were hippies. Also during this time in history dreadlocks were popular with the hippies. So whoever is the old man writing for Giuliana on Fashion Police that was the reference. Stupid people who don’t understand things just ASSUME because a young black girl was being referenced that it must be a racist thing. And by stupid people, I mean Kelly Fucking Osborne. Kelly was friends or likes the chick they were discussing who had a shit ton of fake dreads sewn into her stupid head and that was the entire issue.
Then Andy said everything I was thinking about Kathy Griffin’s ridiculous letter about quitting Fashion Police. It sounds a lot like Nene Leakes and her whole, “I might quit RHOA because I can’t tolerate being around mean women who are no supportive.” It’s all bullshit. I left the whole Fashion Police thing feeling less love for Kathy Griffin than usual. Kathy is a bitch. She’s always been a bitch. No one is believing her “I don’t like making fun of people” schtick now. She loves making fun of people. She has become very rich making fun of people. She should own it. And so should Andy Cohen. In this story, he is the pot and Kathy is the kettle. And we like pots and kettles, so just own your damn cookery.
Anyway. I have got to get to the grocery store before whatever I have to recap tonight starts.
I am just going to post this and be done with it after starting it over a week ago…
Also, I added an interview between Anderson and Andy above. Andy says he has tried to get on Teresa Giudice’s email list by contacting Dina but she has not been forthcoming. That’s interesting. Sounds like she may not be interested in returning to Bravo…
Also Anderson and Andy are coming to my hood with their ….whatever it is they are doing. For $350 you can get decent seats and take a photo with them after the show! The cheapest seats are like $75 and it is a HUGE venue.
Does Jax have a bathrobe?
I also was not amused by the brouhaha that was made about Guiliana and the patchouli comment. Anybody with a brain knows that they have joke writers for the Fashion Police. If Joan had said the joke it would have fell flat but nobody would have blinked an eye. I watched the show since Joan and Georgie left, and it was dreadful, just dreadful. Kathy may want to promote the fact that she is quitting because she doesn’t want to body shame anybody, but we all know that is a lie. They all know that the show sucks. Georgie saw the writing on the wall when Joan died, and the rest soon followed. It’s just not good without Joan, and they can all claim altruisitic reasons why they quit, but the only one who quit because of common sense was Georgie.
fallen
Fashion police turned into a Bunch of self righteous hypocrits.. Sad that they all had to take a dump on that show before they left. I felt really bad for Giuliana. She didn’t deserve that. She’s many things but racist isn’t one of them. As for the dreads comment, my first thought was hippies, deadhead types and maybe a few Rastafarians. I have no idea how that turned into “black ppl smell and smoke pot”. if Joan had said this, no one would have batted an eye. Just another opportunity to villify a white person and label them as a racist. We are getting lots of that lately. AC is being a weenie. andys right. Props to him!
Ditto.
Since Kathy started hosting I was barely able to watch 1 full show, then 10 minutes of another. It was so unbearable I was actually embarrassed for her.
Agreed!!! Quite frankly I thought Zendaya’s comment a bit ignorant! Does she know the origins of dreadlocks and their significance? She got her panties in a bunch because she, her brother and father wear it as a style?? Rastafarians should have come for her ass on Twitter for disrespecting their culture let’s see how she handles when something is blown out of proportion!
Good question.

KathyGriffin is clearly not afraid to say something controversial, but after all the blow-up about Guiliana’s one little comment, maybe she just decided it wasn’t worth it. She knows she’s liable to say something much worse than that and she doesn’t want to have to watch her tongue to be on the show or incur the wrath of the PC Police every time she turns around. You know they will be watching ready to pounce on anything they can. You can’t be funny and worry about all that BS. Joan could get away with it and make no apologies. It doesn’t appear that anyone else can.
To her credit, though, when people would get riled up over something Joan said she would flat out tell them “If you can’t take a joke, go fuck yourself” (in those *exact* words).
But Joan was a legend who was paying her dues when Kathy Griffin, et al were still in diapers, so she had the confidence & self-worth to say something like that.
You’re missing the hypocrisy. KG said she was quitting because she didn’t want to criticize people. That is KG’s entire career. That is the total focus of FP which was why she was considered a good fit. Her “resignation letter” was bullshit. Production has been butting heads with KG ever since she arrived. KG OF ALL PEOPLE should have blasted FP with THE TRUTH, not her bullshit letter.

I was up way too early trying to be rational. I see your point. Kathy, of all people, should not try to use that excuse since she’s No. 1 in the No. 2 business of shaming people. Without that, she’s got nothin.
Could it be that Kathy felt restricted in just how far she could go with her comments on Fashion Police? The few times I saw her on the panel she seemed like she was holding back. I also noticed that E didn’t even bother having her on the red carpet at the Oscars and I’m sure it’s because a lot of celebs would refuse to talk to her. I noticed that Kathy texted comments to the panel members that night, one of which was Khloe Kardashian. Wtf was she doing there? The whole patchouli/dreads scandal was overblown and I can’t believe that Kelly quit over that; that had to just be a convienent excuse. I saw her laugh her ass off plenty of times at Joan when she made more “controversial” comments. I questioned all if their fashion expertise except for Brad who actually styles celebs and knows what’s up.
Wasn’t it Kelly who blew up the whole thing? Or did Twitter blow it up and Kelly just jumped on the bandwagon?
Twitter (with Zendaya’s stupid post about it all) blew it up & Kelly jumped on the bandwagon.
Of course. Dumb cunt Kelly Osborne never had an original thought in her head.
Lol!
I thought Kelly’s sole purpose on the show was to laugh at Joan’s jokes. I noticed the cameras panned to Kelly laughing her ass off, when Joan told a joke, each and every time. What other reason would she be there? With her purple hair (rolls eyes), who the hell is she to dissect what other people are wearing? What are her qualifications? Her weird dad? Her annoying mother? The “Osborne” name?
I agree with Andy on this one. Kathy does put down people. I recall on one of her comedy specials she made fun of Taylor’s “ducklips”. Anyways, didn’t Kathy’s talk show get canceled? Well, I know Hollywood is just beating down Kelly’s & Kathy’s door, with job opportunities. Just what exactly does Kelly Osborne do?
Kathy said on Howard Stern that the producers wouldn’t let her do certain things she wanted to do.
The interview on Howard was really revealing (they usually are – Stern is a great interviewer) – Kathy basically admitted that she thought going in was to be she would be able to re-craft the show around herself and not rely on scripted jabs – to adlib more, the producers and she disagreed after certain verbal promises were made (and the others were not adroit at adlibbing), and so she left. On The View, Whoopi said basically the same – sometimes jobs are not good fits and you need to be able to walk away in time and that’s what happened.
Now, could you have imagined if Nene HAD gotten that job?
That all makes perfect sense and if that is her reasoning, props to her but she claimed it was the “body shaming” aspect of the show that made her leave, which is total bullshit; especially coming from her of all people.
I agree…AC was talking about Kelly. Didn’t she take over that spot from Sharon O? No fashion bonafides whatsoever…she always annoyed me. But..I think the reason KG is not leaving is Giuliana. KG was supposed to be the new Joan…but GR seemed to be nudging for the top spot….and I noticed KG’s wittiest barbs always got the pooh-pooh from her. And…she should have been able to bring her own gay side-kick. IMHO.
I have never watched Fashion Police. I could not stand Joan Rivers, and I can’t stand Kathy Griffin.
What I want to know is, which show was taped, and which show was “live”? I was flipping channels, and Anderson Cooper was on WWHL AND CNN at the SAME time.
I’ve only seen George W. Bush manage that.
$75.00 to $350.00 to see Andy Cohen, I don’t think so. Who does he think he is, Streisand!
More like Oprah. they don’t sing. You just get to pay for their lovely personalities and to bask in their presence . Lol.
Andy just did two meet and greet events here. they were not that expensive and I had free passes to the Palm and still didn’t go.

This might be off topic but can somebody please get Guiliana into a hospital for her weight. She is seriously underweight. Her husband or family or someone needs to step in and do some type of intervention because she has got to have some type of eating disorder unless maybe she has some health issues. Either way it’s really sad looking.
If the tickets were three dollars and fifty cents , it would be three dollars more than I would pay to see these two dopes. The only thing AC has going for him is that he will never be the worst journalist on CNN as long as Don Lemon draws breath! I much prefer the Fashion Queens on Bravo. The show is funny and biting without the snark. The Fashion Police deserves the “GAG ” award.
LMAO — poor Don Lemon.
It’s funny ’cause it’s true.
Lolol. I too have a special cauldron of hate reserved for don lemon.
Simply love TT! Anything from toddlers in McDonald’s to KellyfreakingOsbourne is a declaration of common sense. My head gets sore from nodding.
Yes I also agree that the whole patchouli comment was NOT racist & overblown. That Zendaya chick doesn’t even really have dreadlocks. They were FAKE FAKE FAKE. Just a couple of weeks before at the Grammy’s she was wearing a pixie cut wig.
My experience with patchouli was during my Goth period in the 80’s. For some reason all the black clothes wearing children of the night wore patchouli oil, and I never once associated it with anything related to race.
This media event & fallout is all because of Kelly Osbourne who is one indignant bitch. Can’t stand her.
Joan Rivers is shaking her head in disgust at what has happened to her show. I’m surprised that Joan’s daughter Melissa, who is executive producer of FP, wasn’t able to keep things under control.
Personally I think Kathy Griffin should have just said she would do FP temporarily only for the awards season as a favor to Joan & her legacy, instead of just quitting with that bull shit reason about body shaming. I think the show will come back, but the format/style/panel will be completely different.
No offense, but does anyone think Melissa really does anything on FP? The writer’s strike effecting FP kind of revealed that the E! executives controlled pretty much every aspect of the show, even when Joan was on, except what actually came out of Joan’s mouth.
I loved Joan and Kathy for the SNARK. Same reason I come here. Other than that, I could not give a rat’s ass about fashion. I agree with the Kelly comments. As long as I can come here for Tamara’s take on TV, human interest, her neighbors, Banjo and anything else she chooses to share… along with a stand up special from Kathy here and there….I’m good.
On point recap, Tamara. I 100% agree with your take about that Patchouli oil comment.
I wish Giuliana had stuck to her guns and told the PC police and Kelly Osbourne to fuck off. I would have respected her more. I find it so interesting that Andy’s friends think of him as a big time shit stirrer. No wonder he loves people like Brandi and Nene. Birds of a feather.
The reason that Guillianas comment offended people including Kelly is because they don’t like her. we are more sensitive to the words of people we already dislike. It seems like she is an issue, and probably not pleasant to work with, and they both took the opportunity to dig at her publicly. She should just get fired if no one wants to work with her.
It’s time for the skinny little Italian to move on. The producers were getting tons of mail regarding Kelly and Kathy and wanted them gone. That is why they are no longer on Fashion Police.
“Andy, “I’m sure she is, maybe she hates me… you never know.” He’s chewing gum. Why does he do that? What is with Americans and their gum?”
This is my kryptonite…GUM IN PUBLIC and especially on TV. There is a reason only the stupid/slutty/hooker people ever chew gum in movies! Think about it, there is a correlation people. That annoying ex-husband/boyfriend guy on Shahs chews gum and tries to “hide” it behind his nasty oversized and over whitened teeth! Ick. Gross. Manners!
Black women and natural hairstyles is a powder keg that trust me, you do not want to go down. There is so much pain and rage there, not just historically but today, that non black women can never hope to understand.
@Valentina Sorry, but it’s not an excuse for hysterical overreactions. I’m so over the good hair/nappy hair sensitivity as well as the light skinned/dark skinned neurosis. Dreads have that connotation of hippies (patchouli) and caribbean vacations (weed)….it is what it is.
Yes because no women of any other race have been judged on superficial physical characteristics.
The stupid should burn.
All women are judged on superficial characteristics, true. FACT: No other race of women have had their hair type so completely scorned, politicized and literally legislated against for just letting it grow out of their head the way God made it. From childhood the gaze is re-damn-diculous, to the point that newborns are often inspected for ‘grades’ of hair, I shit you not. So before you call it ‘stupid’, consider that almost all black women you see chemically straighten it, burn it straight with combs, hide it under weaves and wigs made of Asian hair, or use some other damaging method to satisfy the white gaze. Baldness is freaking epidemic. And the minority who don’t are often questioned for being militant, etc. So yeah, they can be super sensitive if they want to be.
I’m not calling *it* stupid — I’m calling YOU stupid for extrapolating an idiotic joke about dreds on Fashion Fucking Police into this diatribe and thinking, somehow, you have any kind of authority to lecture complete strangers on the internet — who may actually be black themselves — on black hair as if you are qualified and justified to speak for ALL black women.
PS — anyone & everyone can be as “super sensitive” as they want to be about ANYTHING that they want to be– and out of the 6 billion people in the world, they’ll be lucky if they have 20 who care. I’m not one of those 20.
What is all this “gaze” you speak of? I don’t give a crap what anybody else’s hair looks like and I highly doubt anyone else does either. Do I care about my own hair? Yes. Do I care what yours looks like? No. Do I do shit to my hair because I want other ppl to think it looks pretty? Yes but I don’t blame any race or gender or whatever for me doing crap TO MY OWN HAIR! It’s my own damn fault for caring what other ppl think. The reality is that most people could give a crap about my hair.
@Valentina Well go on Sista Soulja and ‘”fight the powers that be”. May well all be true, (except the legislated part wth??) but I seriously doubt you were around in that era to feel the ‘scorn’. Here’s a thought…how about taking all that 1st World sensitivity and rage and doing something for the girls + women in 3rd World nations who are deprived of an education, whose genitals are mutilated at age 5…and who are raped on the regular because it’s NOT a crime. Unnn k?
But no one shames them for their hairdos….

Because you are completely ridiculous. No one is forced to straighten their hair or glue ramen noodles to their head in an attempt to look like a blond white women. Plenty of black women wear natural hair and look stunning.
Your bizarre meltdown on the issue is very off topic when we are talking about a girl who wore ten tons of horse hair on her head to red carpet event.

If you don’t buy it — then fine… just don’t get surprised if you get punched the hell out should you decide to insult some random sista’s afro. Just saying.
Your bizarre assumption that there is some sort of gang of fashion police running around denouncing natural hair. There is not an iota of discussion about natural hair in this post. There was no natural hair. There was shitty weave. People commented that the shitty weave was not red carpet appropriate.
You seem very ignorant and misguided and mad at the world. It’s not cute.

@Tanya – Way ahead of you – I do pro bono work for an organization that is providing aid and services for the Chibok girls who escaped kidnapping from the Boko Haram. 12 of them are already in the USA with scholarships to private educational institutions. Don’t let my interest in reality TV fool you… I am quite educated and very active in the international affairs arena. Oh and yes, as crazy as it sounds, black hair on black women has been legislated against (required to be covered by scarves in the distant past), also many companies considered natural black styles unprofessional and you could lose your job for it (this is in our lifetime if you’re over 50), and even today (black women in the military are fighting having to cover their dreadlocks with wigs, and only recently were able to wear cornrows, etc.)
@Valentina That is awesome 🙂 So, that said…can you see how OD you are being? Everything is not coded language. And everything does not demand protest and righteous indignation.
Pfft — yes, nothing like bragging about your resume on an anonymous internet message board.
You’re “quite educated” like Nene — and I can tell because if you were actually smart you wouldn’t have reacted in this idiotic way with walls of text that NO ONE is arguing with you about.
If I hadn’t posted numerous times about my own experiences with men strongly preferring natural hair and women viewing each other as more beautiful with chemically treated or blown out hair, I’d try to work up the energy to debate her just for devilment. But she’s just so tiresome, it wouldn’t even be a fun game of Whack A Troll.

Thanks Tanya… the work is both heartbreaking and rewarding! It only seems like I’m being OD because I’m offering an explanation for an unpopular viewpoint and sticking to my guns. I guess I could skulk off and let people remain self righteously ignorant about the crazy hair battles many black chicks face, but hey, someone should say something sometimes. Like I said earlier, I couldn’t care less about Rancic’s joke and don’t even watch the Fashion Police (none of them have good style IMHO). My point is this: I might not agree — but I do understand — where the backlash is coming from. It’s a deep well that the general public doesn’t know anything about.
@Valentina I get it..its a passionate topic for you. All I’m sayin is we have to pick our battles wisely or we start to sound like Charlie Brown’s teacher. Where can I read more about your non-profit?
Oh thank god we have you to tell us on behalf of black folks everywhere. They never mention it in movies, or standup routines or over coffee with girlfriends or on TV shows. There are no shows with black women who are doctors with natural hair. No female athletes, no academy award winning actresses taking off their wigs and makeup each week while they play the lead in a very popular show. No news stories, no childrens books, no conversations with strangers in the hair relaxer aisles…
No. There is only Valentina, Patron Saint of Black Hair, to make sure we all know the trial and tribulations.
THis is like the time a couple weeks ago I went to a new Obamacare GYN for an annual and HE explained PMS to me in small words very slowly as if he along had this mystical information he was imparting to me, the clueless perimenopausal woman.

That’s a load of crap. There was nothing natural about that shitastic pile of hair sewn to little bit’s head. She was a person with a very poor choice of weave in her head that looked ridiculous and made her look like like a smelling 1970 hippie dipped in patchouli oil and weed.It wasn’t even a funny read. Errybody needs to just stop screaming racisim anytime a black person is critiqued about their hair.

@valentina…just catching up here…a few days late. You seem very delusional. Maybe A bit more time should be spent on those children you are saving overseas.
Teresa not interested in returning to Bravo? Never! What other prospects does she have to support her “dawtuhs” when she gets out? She has to know that it’s her best possibility. I doubt any other places are clamoring to hire a screechy, hotheaded, intellect-challenged, inarticulate gorgon to represent their brand/network/franchise.
I’d be very happy to never see her on my TV again though.
My problem with the Zendaya comment is it had no actual bearing on fashion. No critique as to whether the shade of her dress was flattering or were her faux dreads a good length or and updo of the dreads would be more flattering. Just dumb sophomoric blather from Guiliana or the writers or whoever. I never watched the show so I when the story blew up I was flabbergasted at how dumb the whole Fashion Police show seemed to be. I would love to see actual knowledgable fashionistas on a show giving real critiques not dumb cracks.
I hate that I know this — but the stupid “joke” was in context of fashion and the dreds going with (or actually, not going with) what Zendaya was wearing. G.R. first said how she thought the dreds looked too big and “heavy” on Zendaya’s head and the style didn’t go with the elegant dress she was wearing — but made her look like she “smelled of patcholi and weed” (i.e. hippie hair-do with evening gown).
I believe the critique was that it looked heavy and hot and weighed her down was not working for the red carpet.

I agree about Kelly. I am sorry but when you wear lavender ear shaped hair it completes negates any opinion you have on fashion.
My sentiments exactly! Couldn’t agree more!
I can’t stand Giuliana Rancic. I’m starting to hate Andy Cohen. I f-ing hate hippies. Patchouli is disgusting. Fashion Police sucks. I like Kathy Griffin, but I agree with Andy. Just say you couldn’t stand your coworkers and it didn’t work out.
Also just mentioning the name Dina fills me with rage.
I need a drink.
THANK YOU for bringing the sanity! The way blogs-that-shall-not-be-named blew up with diatribes on the history of dreds in the black community, and supportive “You Go Girl” missives to Kelly Osborne, yada, yada, yada was vomit inducing. The stupid really should burn.
Thank you for talking about this issue Tamara!! I LOVE Kathy Griffin and I loved her on Fashion Police. She came off way more natural and less rehearsed than Joan. She was also just as mean and funnier in my opinion!
The reason she left Fashion Police is not because she doesn’t want to body shame celebs! It’s because the producers would push her to make fun of perfect outfits that she didn’t feel had anything wrong with them. She only wants to make fun of who she wants to make fun of. She had an interview with Howard Stern last week and she talked about it.
Joan Rivers was a legend loved her! Joan”s style worked for her in my opinion that style just doesn’t work for Kathy. I liked Kathy for awhile but she just got faker& faker! Making fun of people is one thing but Kathy just over does it drives the point completely in the ground !
I actually understand the differences in what Kathy G is trying to say – to her at least, I can understand the point of view – that there’s a difference between a solo act, writing your own jokes, and reciting stories of interactions with random celebrities you’ve had with a scathing twist, which is the format of her specials.
Fashion police, on the other hand, was a formulaic approach which how she explained it was preemptively picking targets from photos with a group of writers who would pick out things to make fun of them about, with the show figures just memorizing and reciting the jokes.
Her specials are taking either current pop culture events or stories how she ran into whoever and they acted however and now she’s calling them out and making fun of them for it.
BUT I can also understand why people would just think mean is mean and there’s not really a difference in what format it’s in.
I love patchouli in certain scents. Not alone, but when mixed well in a perfume it smells amazing.
I love patchouli, too. It’s one of my favorite scents. It is in many popular perfumes, etc. I even like it all its itself. Now Musk, that’s another story.
Thierry Mugler’s Angel is amazing, Tom Ford’s Black Orchid too.
@Michael Ditto! Archipelago makes an amazing candle with patchouli, rosewood + white cedar.
I wear ANGEL a lot in the winter during the coldest days, but I don’t think I ever noticed/smelled the patchouli in it. My nose only picks up the choclatey/caramel notes & I LOVE IT.
The patchouli is very dank, sweet and chocolatey in Angel, and well mixed. Which is why I love it. When patch begins to smell like pencil shavings it turns my stomach.
@michael I peronally depsie the smell of patchouli …I see below you refer to Angel smelling like that at times, I wear that quite often, please God don’t tell me I smell like patchouli and don’t realize it!
I am going to offer a different view here. I think a lot of people had a problem with Giuliana’s comment because when Kylie Jenner sported fake dreads less than 2 months prior to Zendaya, Giuliana called them edgy (no mention of patchouli or weed). It would have been better for her to say they were not appropriate for the occasion. The main difference between these 2 young ladies is race hence the accusation that the comment is racist.
Let the attacks begin!
Well and the Jenners/Kardashians pay her salary.
@AB Was Kylie on a red carpet in an evening gown with said dreads? If she’s rocking them in her day to day cuz she’s dating a Jamaican guy…..not the same as Zendaya’s situation. My vote? NOT racist.
Seriously, that is why I stated she should have said it was inappropriate for the occasion.
Don’t know how many of the Giuliana stans here are white, but there is such a thing as racial insensitivity. If the white girl is edgy but the black girl makes you think of patchouli and weeds, there is something wrong in your way of thinking.
That is my opinion of the whole thing.
@Yveline I am not a GR fan. I think she was trying to be snarky which is not her role. If one of the gays had said it, we wouldn’t be discussing it at all. It is not insensitive! Dreads remind people of hippies, Bob Marley and caribbean vacations! They just do!
@Tanya, then why did Kylie Jenner not remind GR of hippies?
@Yveline Because she’s dating Tyga not Willie Nelson. The weed smell was a given.
Actually I googled the child whore’s photos and her Dreads were not actually dreads.

Your opinion is stupid and comes from a position of victimhood and learned helplessness.

Giulianna is on the E! Where that trashy family of whores grives the network. Not matter what the child whore does she must approve of it.

Re: Kathy leaving Fashion Police, she went into detail in an hour-long interview with Howard Stern on the hows and whys of her departure, seemed to be a mix of things manifesting into her comedy style not meshing with the direction of the show (she goes into specifics on the contrasts and differences between them), and there were unmet expectations based on some things she was promised, but did not get in the end. Meh…she’ll move on and be fine, I guess. As for what Andy may have in his craw, could be him taking on the perspective from the other side of the desk as a “suit” vs. Kathy as “talent”: when Kathy left FP she burned not only her bridges with E! but with it’s owner NBC Universal, subsequently putting her on the sh** list with sister networks Bravo, Oxygen, USA and gawd knows who else.
