So next week’s previews showed Lisa Rinna and Brandi chatting about Kim Richards. In this conversation, several innuendos are made. It seems that Brandi is saying that Kim is constantly high on Fentanyl from a patch she is swiping from Monty and according to Brandi, Kim is suicidal.
So now what? Clearly, Lisa and Eileen decide to forge ahead with some sort of intervention. We all know that doesn’t go well. What I am dying to see is how Brandi comes out of the situation smelling like a rose with regard to Kim. Does Brandi lie to Kim about what she told Lisa?
After the failed intervention, can we go back to some other storyline? We get it. Brandi is a wino. Kim is an addict. Will we at least be able to enjoy the Amsterdam episodes in peace? Can we maybe focus on the city and see the sites instead of forcing Kyle to argue with Kim on camera some more? I’m not holding my breath.
Here is Brandi’s take on Kim this week.
The reading of Vince Van Patten’s script looked like a hoot, and I hope his production goes well. He is a super nice and mellow guy. Kim was on her game with the hand puppet, Lisa V.’s speech accepting her Daytime Emmy for her casting couch, ahem, BJ skills seemed genuine, and the rest looked like a good time.
I swear I forget these shows ten minutes after I am done watching them. I remember Lisa getting to hold Eileen’s award after asking her. Is that what this is about? I’ve totally no memory of anything involving Lisa V and blow jobs.
I was glad to see Kim had a chance to vent to the other ladies afterward. Everyone needs to vent and stop talking behind her back. Caring for a loved one with terminal cancer is not easy. Maybe now they understand that Kim just needs a girlfriend to hang out with sometimes and that our friendship is just that–a normal friendship where she can swing by and BBQ with my boys and me.
Well, she could hang out with a wino and her kids, or she could hang out with her sponsor, or her sober coach, or her sober friends, or her sister, or her other sister, or her kids, or sit by Yolanda’s pool and do yoga….But some how she picks wino. Wonder why?
It was nice and a bit shocking to have Ken invite me to Lisa V.’s surprise birthday party. We all had a lot of fun. Kathy Hilton and my friend Mark Hasche also came with Kim and me, which made it even more fun. Laughs were had by all. I drank loads of lemon and water as prescribed by Yolanda. I was certainly missing my toxins in this party atmosphere but had a great time despite it, because when I set my mind to something, I stick with it. I can’t sing to save my life (I can rap a little), but like a trooper, I got up to sing per Lisa’s request. I was game to do anything to help make Ken’s party a success. They really love each other, and the party was a sweet idea. Lisa R. and I really wanted those rose centerpieces, but we didn’t get them, because Lisa V. was too quick. Kim and the others were cute singing. Lisa. R continued the BJ theme and created a BJ ballad as an added birthday touch (if I had done that–the pearl clutching would last for DAYS). As you saw, yes, I was asked to sing. But, like Cameron Diaz, in My Best Friend’s Wedding, I. CANNOT. SING. EVER. But hey, I tried and had fun. (Apologies to anyone who lost a speaker in their entertainment systems.)
Blah, blah, blah jealous to be on the outside looking in. You’re officially a window licker.
Sadly, for some, the theme of public judging and invasive intrusion in the lives of people they barely know continued. While in pleasant contrast, Yolanda’s open-ended offer of nonjudgmental support and love to Kim was endearing and a welcome change.
Yolanda hasn’t seen Kim high this season. She barely leaves the house. All she can do is nod supportivly. Why are you not mentioning the whole conversation with Lisa Rinna. I suppose that is technically next week. I shall look forward to your explanation about your rapid about-face. Did offering Kim a BBQ chicken week suddenly stop being the answer?
