The condition of Bobbi Kristina Brown is big news in Atlanta and big money for some major tabloid websites. Right now we are all waiting it out. When will the family remove life support? Will Nick Gordon or Max Lomas face any criminal charges? So while we wait, people speculate. That speculation becomes rumor. Those rumors become “information from a reliable source” that appears in my inbox each morning. First the rumor was they would remove life support on Bobby Brown’s Birthday, now the rumor is that they will remove life support tomorrow on Whitney Houston’s death date. I honestly can’t believe anyone is paying these sorts of things any mind whatsoever. The family is dealing with a horrific situation. They are trying to come to grips with the fact that two hospitals have told them there is nothing more that can be done and Bobbi Kristina has minimal brain activity and is being kept alive through artificial means.
In these types of situations there are always people who see the inevitable decision that must be made more quickly than others. Some family members want to keep praying and hoping and sitting with the body of their loved one. Eventually, the person who is making the healthcare decision will have to give the okay to remove the life support. Bobby Brown appears to be the person who is making those decisions and he is struggling. He is not trying to figure out a cool date for the tombstone. He is trying to accept the situation. No one knows when he is going to do that. He may do it today, tomorrow, or a month from now.
My personal belief is the time will come soon. In theory, the concept of sitting beside your brain dead family member forever seems plausible. But it is not. The hospital will not allow it, and life will not allow it. Bobby Brown has a pregnant wife. Cissy Houston is an older woman with her own health concerns who will need to go back to her home and her doctors and her life. Pat Houston is rumored to be having blood pressure concerns from all the stress. This cannot go on much longer. The living must take care of themselves and move forward.

I have no desire to be the first to report, and no joy in reporting when the life support has been removed. It will happen. There will be a funeral. There will be an outcome of the criminal investigation. I will report all of that when the facts are clear. In the meantime, I’ll continue to provide a daily update if there is anything at all to report.
Today there were statements by Leolah Brown, Bobby Brown, and Bobby Brown’s attorney.
Today, Leolah Brown, Bobby Brown’s sister is making some publicity appearances. Today she told FOX5News in Atlanta that Krissi is improving. “We know that she’s opening her eyes, that’s true. She’s opening her eyes and there’s a few more things that she’s doin’. But Krissi is doing well right now.” Reporter Aungelique Proctor asks incredulously, The doctors have told the family she is improving???” Leolah says, ” Yes mam.”
In another clip from an interview with Leolah she says, ” I’m very hopeful that everything will be alright with Krissi. Ummm there are so many signs showing us that she will be okay. In spite of what people are saying over the Internet, Krissi is fine.”
You really have to see the interview to understand what is going on here. Leolah is in denial. Leolah is also one who loves an interview. She interviewed with Dr. Drew after Whitney’s death and had a conspiracy theory that Whitney was murdered. She also said that Krissi was in danger of the same fate. Leolah was also at the vigil for Bobbi Brown last night. Leolah also posted a long post on Facebook last night implying that we all need to get right with Allah and mentioning Louis Farrakhan because we never know when our time will come. It seemed like she was trying to come to terms with the inevitable.
Proctor, “So what about this notion that tomorrow is the day the plug will be pulled so that she and her mother will symbolically be together forever?” Leolah, ” No… I haven’t even seen that personally….in the media… but I’ve been hearing about it. My phone has been ringing. People have been calling me telling me, it’s in the paper. It’s this and that, but that’s not what I’m getting. ” Proctor states that Leolah, “has never met Nick Gordon but she knows Bobbi Kristina loves him” If Leolah said that in an interview, she sure didn’t show it on camera. What she did say was, “When I first heard…uh that he was in the picture, …like where did Nick come from? I worked with Whitney. I lived in the home and he was never there. I never saw Nick. I lived in Bobby and Whitney’s house. I took care of Krissi. I never ever seen Nick.” Proctor, “So this notion that she almost adopted him, he’s lived in her house since he was 12.. not true?” Leolah shakes her head and says “No.”
Sidenote: Leolah and Bobby were long gone by the time Nick showed up at Whitney’s house.
Leolah told the Proctor that when all is said and done and everything is revealed she believes there will be criminal charges in this case.
Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant told media today, “We are still investigating. Can’t say that it’s going to lead to charges. Can’t say it’s not.”
In other news today, the 911 tape on the domestic disturbance call from January 23rd has been released. The security guard at the gated townhouses called to report that people where hitting each other outside their (Bobbi and Nick’s) residence. When the police came, there was no one home.
“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended.” Said Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown. “However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.” Brown added.
Bobby Brown made this statement today.
“We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.” Said Bobby Brown.
Those are all the sad facts from today. I’ll keep you updated as needed.
Pray they can get through this!
May God be with Bobbi
Amen. May God lift you at your lowest moments.Blessing to the Brown and Houston family.
I am thankful for your updates TT. Given the statement above I can definitely see why they are not pulling life support. Was Leolah referring to the media saying there is brain death and she is saying that is a lie? They will probably wait at least two months. They are not waiting for a special day, they are waiting for a miracle.
My mother always told me that you would know when you have had enough of something, that no one would have to tell you, you’d just know. Bobby Brown will remove Bobbi Kristina from life support in his own good time. I don’t think it will be to mark the anniversary of Whitney’s death or anything like that. I think he will only let her go when his heart tells his brain it’s ok. Just my opinion.
I agree Hannah. BTW, you are still my favorite. I’m almost through my current bitch cycle. Almost. xoxo.

Love you too TT xoxo and even in your current bitch cycle, you’re still my favorite.
Hey Tamara, I saw the same interview on Fox5 this evening as well…..it’s all just so messed up and disturbing…and I wish all associated with that child would stay the fuck away from a TV camera.
Hannah-eloquently put “when his heart tells his brain it’s OK” . Best sentiment I have read regarding this tragedy. Your mother sounds like a smart woman.
vonnie0511, my mother was one of the smartest women I have ever met even though she had no formal education. She had what many people lack these days…common sense and compassion. Only wish she was alive so I could still benefit from her wisdom.
“When his heart tells his brain it’s OK”
Beautifully put and completely accurate.
Thanks for sharing your mom’s wisdom with us.
What a cool mom.

hannah, Refreshing and beautiful.
Tamara, your need not to be FIRST is why you’re the best.
Very well written. Thank you.
This story is just so sad. I feel so bad for everyone involved especially Bobbi Kristina. She’s so young!
Does Bobby brown have other sisters? Just trying to figure out if she is the crackhead. Heh.
But honestly, trying to get inside Bobby brown’s head might be difficult. Especially if he is on drugs. I know you or I would never think to synch up dates. But we aren’t dependant on the media and public opinion. And we aren’t on crack. Sorry that I’m the devil to your angel on this one.
He has more than one sister. And more than one … um. I am going to be the good cop here.

I loved whitney Houston and always felt sorry for her daughter growing up in that dysfunctional home. We’ve all been praying for a miracle that hasn’t happened, At some point you have to let them go. Would anyone really want to stay hooked up to machines to sustain life? Its time to let her go as sad as that may be. Given her upbringing may she find peace in heaven where she did not on earth.
Heck they can’t pull the plug yet, all of those Terri Shiavo supporters won’t let them.
Bobby has been through hell for the last 10 days full of shock, confusion, and pain. He has put his faith in God and God will guide him through this. It’s his journey not anyone else’s.
May God be with Bobbi
Granny Cissy suggested witholding life support on Wednesday. Doubt if she can convince BB to the wisdom of getting it over sooner than later.
Please stop making shit up or repeating things you read at tabloids. Thanks.
You have no idea what Cissy has said.

I feel sorry for this girl, it’s very sad, but why is this news?
Her mama was vocally talented.

I think it’s news because we saw Bobbi Kristina grow up. We saw the dysfunction in her parents’ marriage. The divorce. Whitney’s “fall from grace”, believing she was perhaps sober, then dying “suddenly”.
I know I personally hoped for better things, a different outcome, for BK.
Additionally, it could so easily be one of our children.
Lastly, it’s heart-wrenching when we see this happen to people we think have everything, we hypothesize how we would have done things differently, and it proves, yet again, money doesn’t buy happiness.
Yes, it’s all selfish in a way, but bottom line, I think a lot of us love and care about her fate.
This has to be the most gut wrenching decision that Bobby has ever had to make. It is ridiculous how people are coming out with all of these speculations on when life support will be removed. Family members need to stay away from the media and be at the hospital with Bobby Christina. The only one who really knows is God Himself. My mother and I have had this kind of conversation where if something happens to her, do not resuscitate. Letting go of a loved one is not easy. I pray the right decision is made and that it’s best for this young woman, not anyone else.
Great to hear Leolah make it clear that Pat Garland is NOT a Houston, and neither is Gary Garland for that matter – but at least, Cissy is his mother..
Well thanks for making that clear. Do you have any half brothers and sisters in your family? Because now you have made it clear how you feel about them. Nice.
It’s very important to make such distinctions when someone is dying.

Girl, please.
I can’t be sure where Leotha is coming from, but my clarification has little to do with familial fragmentation, and sibling hierarchy or “someone dying.”.
From 1980 and throughout his first marriage, I knew Gary as Gary Garland. Then came along Patricia Watson, whom I find to be disingenuous and opportunistic. I did a headspin the first time I heard her use Whitney’s last name as her own.
I couldn’t stop watching “Being Bobby Brown” when it aired. It was very candid and embarassing to see Bobbie Kristina trying to fit in somewhere and she was so sad and confused.
I agree. She seemed so isolated; trapped in her parents’ addiction and dysfunction. I’ve often wondered would things have been better for her if she’d had brothers or sisters. It had to be a lonely and frightening childhood at times.
What a sad and difficult situation. I feel so sorry for all involved. May The Lord be with them all and give them the strength to do what has to be done when it is the right time. My thoughts and prayers are with all!
Tamara, you’ve handled reporting this situation with a lot of class and facts. I don’t feel dirty reading these updates (unlike some other sites that seem focused on the sensationalistic aspect of this, a la Housewife drama). This is someone’real life. Not a reality tv scripted event.
Thanks, Havanly. I’m hoping that the family is able to come to terms with the situation soon.
