UPDATED WITH LINK TO BRANDI AND KENYA ON TODAY SHOW THIS MORNING. http://www.today.com/video/today/56922977#56922977
Before Kenya even comes out, Wendy has already stated the obvious about Kenya tweeting from Vivica’s phone. Although Kenya’s hardcore fans are in some sort of deep, DEEP, denial over the situation, it’s abundantly obvious that is what happened.
Kenya comes out looking stunning in orange. Wendy asked her if she had anything to do with the whole menopause thing. Kenya says “absolutely not.” Um, Kenya you brought up menopause in the boardroom and you tweeted about it after the fact. So that’s a lie. Kenya says she finds the whole thing quite ridiculous. Kenya says she was a strong player who did not need to resort to such ridiculousness to win. But she did. Kenya says the show is a meritocracy and people should win on their own merit and she brought a lot to the table.
Wendy says to Kenya, “You were a very smart player but I don’t believe a word you are saying.” Kenya just laughs and laughs. Kenya says that people are entitled to their opinions. If you want to believe it you do, and if you don’t you don’t. She says she was made a scapegoat on the show. She says they tried to fire her the week before and she fought her way out of it (Not quite, she played a dumb girl that managed to talk herself into getting fired. Now that was GENIUS.) Oh wait last week was when she got Kate Gosselin fired. That was pretty good boardroom maneuvering too. She just took it way too far this week with the phone incident and gave Vivica her rightful place in the final three. She fucked up.
Kenya says she made a bad decision in terms of the creative and that is why she was eventually fired. Kenya says that Vivica is the most ghetto and ratchet person on TV at the moment. Kenya says she doesn’t want to bend over and stoop to that position because she might just tip her crown. But she did. She bent over and the crown went rolling across the boardroom floor. Wendy says the bun concept was a mistake. Kenya says it was supposed to be a photobomb, and photobombs are really silly. I agreed with the silliness after I remembered the photobomb aspect. It seems that the other team missed the photobomb aspect entirely so at the presentation, I really thought Kenya’s creativity stood a chance of winning. Especially since the other team did such a poor job at brand messaging. Kenya thinks that the younger generation got the concept but the older generation (who was doing the judging) didn’t get it.
They play the clip where Vivica is so butt hurt over Geraldo saying Kenya had the best buns. They showed her talking head where she makes fun of Kenya’s butt. Kenya says that was pretty nasty. Wendy says she didn’t like Vivica come out of character like that. It was a talking head. They were all trash talking their opponents. Kenya says, “Nobody talks about her face, so yeah.” Wendy says, “What about her face?” The audience is moaning and groaning. Kenya says, ” What about it? I never attack women on their looks…. (pause, waits for lightning to strike Kenya dead) I have been a natural girl. I’ve never tried to turn myself into Maleficent, so I’m okay with it. I’m okay with being a natural girl. I’m okay.” Wendy says, ” But things could change any time in the future.” Kenya says, “Exactly, and I’m okay with that too. And if I need a little tune up in the future and I need to go to the doctor and get these boobs raised up? I’m okay with that too. I don’t judge.” Dramatic pause, ” But go have some good work.” More groans from Wendy and the audience. Kenya says ” No shade. No tea. I promise! to the audience.”
Wendy says she has known Kenya since her radio days and Kenya “has always been beautiful but a mess.”
Wendy asks about Nene’s ridiculous cease and desist letter that she posted on Instagram. I didn’t even bother to post about this because it is so stupid. I’ve never seen a cease and desist letter that doesn’t tell the party what they have said or printed that was objectionable. Someone asked me about it on Twitter at midnight one night and I said the whole thing was fake. Immediately Kenya is tweeting that it is a real letter and seems pressed with me like I was saying she made the whole thing up. That was not it at all. The whole thing is ridiculous. At the end of a 16 hour blogging day I felt no need to address Nene’s stupidity. Nene is not allowed to take Kenya to court for defamation. She can try sending letters meant to intimidate, but she has no legal grounds whatsoever. Nene is just bored and looking for attention and Kenya has the attention right now. Supposedly Claudia got one too. For what? Saying she looks ridiculous with ramen noodles on her head? Facts are facts.
Kenya says that it’s all nonsense. Nene is the biggest instigation of anyone on the show and always has been. She brings up that last week she called Claudia a “half-breed”, she said Claudia has had so much sex she doesn’t have her female parts anymore, she’s called Claudia whore, she claimed Kenya lied about the Apollo situation. Kenya says she needs to send Nene a cease and desist on whoever makes her wigs. Wendy asks, ” So do you think that Nene was a big mouth and a bully as long as there was no one formidable for her to fight? And as soon as you and Claudia were able to rise and be the head housewives (Oh Nene is having an aneurism over that comment) she had a problem? Kenya says yes. Kenya thinks that Nene is intimidated by her. How does Nene send out a cease and desist when you are the biggest troublemaker on the show?
Wendy brings up the incident at the Golden Globes party involving Lupita Nyong’o and the picture incident. Kenya says that when she saw Lupita she was in her feelings and she fan girled out. She is a huge fan. Kenya’s friend asked her for an autograph and she turned her down. Kenya never really approached her.
Wendy asks Kenya if she is in love. She smiles and says she is getting there, but she is not going to talk about it. She says if she talks about it then the guy isn’t real. If she shows up with someone then it’s fake. After break, Kenya is gone and Wendy says Kenya’s man is a business man and a Princeton graduate. She says she told Wendy more but she doesn’t want to go into it.
Next Wendy talks to Ian Zierling and Johnny Damon. Ian brings up that he was on a great team that had won five challenges in a row and then they lost one and Trump fired the whole team. He also points out that Geraldo had been on more losing challenges than anyone and he is in the top three. Wendy asked about Brandi’s mean comments out him. Was he surprised? He says no, that is just Brandi. Brandi needs to be venomous to be relevant. Ian says the whole housewives franchise was like that. Johnny is expecting his seventh child.
Wendy asks Ian what he thinks about Tori Spelling. Ian says that Tori is doing what she thinks is the best for her and he wishes her the best.
Johnny says that Leeza should win. Ian doesn’t want to choose anyone. This is likely because Ian comes back to help one of the finalists in the end.
