I used to be really into Revenge and even recapped it here from time to time but I’ve grown bored with it. I still tape it and sort of half watch it. It’s just sort of jumped the shark for me. I don’t have any idea why Nolan is getting married and really am not following the storylines much anymore. But I though I would do a quick post on Kim’s appearance. Click below for the interesting tea on her character on the episode. All 14 words.

Okay here is her first scene. She is a random socialite in the group who is attending a charity event. She said “How are you holding up?” to Victoria at a table full of women. Her next line was “Absolutely.” At the next scene, here line is, ” Victoria, Bobby had a terrible setback last night” It was walked all over by someone else giving her excuse for missing a meeting with Victoria at the same time and Kim is pretty much off camera. HA! Victoria is threatening to reveal secrets about the ladies if they do not comply with her wishes. She gives examples of things she knows about people in the group. The one directed at Kim’s character is “Suppose someone in this group was using a controlled white powder as a weight loss supplement. *tight camera on Kim* BWAHAHA. Okay it’s not funny. But it kind of is. I mean there were all kinds of secrets she went through but they chose Kim to be the drug addict? Is that irony? Or just really mean writing?
I don’t know how I missed Nolan marrying the crazy redhead. Or why? Anyone know?
And that was the winter finale of Revenge. It returns March 8th.
The only thing that comes to my mind is that conversation regarding always saying “Yes, I can do that” to every possible job.
But then, I got focused on the “grapes” at the bottom of the stair case. Someone’s underwear lost their grapes…but the flowers look really bored and totally uninterested!
joanie huh?
Remember, Kim and Kyle were sitting at the table with Eileen, Vincent and a bunch of others, talking about how Big Kathy (their Momma) told them to always say “Yes, I can do that”. Seeing Kim, perched on the pillar, strumming a guitar makes me think of that “Yes, I can do that” routine. Does Kim sing and play guitar? Or, is this another one of those “I need a job Yeses”?
Fruit of the Loom Underwear? See the person in the white costume at the bottom of the stairs with the little white balls (for the lack of another term) all over the costume. Frozen grapes that went AWOL from someone’s underroos….The ‘flowers’ on the landing behind her look totally bored and there appears to be a bear cutout with sunglasses directly behind her…I always feel a bit bored when Kim is doing much of anything.
Um, that is a Lady Gaga video.

Spoilers!
Nolan is marrying her so that he becomes her estate/financial controller. Her mother was in control of her late fathers estate by drugging her daughter (the true estate beneficiary as he left it all to her not his wife). Now Nolan can protect her and her money. I however, suspect that Nolan’s wife killed her father and does have psychotic issues. Good luck Nolan.
Hey you! I looked back on posts and said you were actually right. The manboobs comment got me; I have nice boobs. Sorry, Micheal.
🙁
It’s ok. We all are a little ‘wrong’ around here. 🙂
I have sexy manboobs.
I do not believe that you have manboobs. Sorry, I don’t!!!
🙂
Nope, the mother did it.
Well now we know that. At the time they were setting it up for her to be the killer.
I feel bad for Kim (not excusing). I’m not sure if she is a high functioning addict or someone who was exploited for a television show now. Haven’t seen the episode yet. Will decide then I guess.
When you watch the episode, there was a brunette with more lines. I suspect that Kim was supposed to have that role and got bumped down when she could not handle it.

That must hurt. I guess that she still got the same pay. I know that Revenge has probably ‘peaked’ but in my mind it is still a pretty decent guest role. One that could easily lead to more if she were professional and networked a bit.
Spoilers!
For me Daniel’s death reinvigorated my interest (always hoped he and Emily would reunite against their fucked up parents). However, the latest storylines since his death have been lacklustre. Such a shame. Time to watch Banana and Cucumber. Quality television.
Ultimately, we always knew that the happy ending would be for Amanda and Jack.

That is why I prefered Emily and Daniel. The Jack and Amanda ending is way too cliche. Especially as Amanda is purported to be sterile at the moment.
Do you think you can handle the role of a coke addict, Kim? Of course, I can!
It proves she does have ‘range’, as she is only an alcoholic struggling with sobority [sic] in real life. 😉
It’s not mean — it’s typecasting! 🙂
This was must see TV for the first 2 seasons but then I lost interest. Is it worth a marathon to catch up?
I don’t think so, honestly. I tape it and it’s generally the last thing I get around to watching. Even then I get distracted by the blog and don’t even back up to see what I missed.

I read that Revenge’s ratings have gone down and this will probably be its last season. I loved it in season 1 but I also feel that it went downhill after that.
After Amanda/Emily killed pretty much everyone on her hit list, there was no place for the show to go. And then bringing her dead father back to life was just plain stupid.

I so agree. It could be any of the old soap operas that have been on daytime TV for years. I keep waiting on Daniel to come back and that bad guy just fell into the incinerator; he could come back, too. Too many clichés now to be a good nighttime program.
It’s the french woman who I really dislike. Her character is just so bad and I hate every storyline involving her. Too bad because I really liked that actress on the very short lived series Pan Am.
I’ve given up on the show too. Kinda watch it while doing 10 other things.
Once Aiden was killed off I lost interest. Dang he was hot, and that’s who I wanted Emily to marry. They understood each other better than she and Jack ever will. How did Victoria get stabbed and then acted normal, or did I imagine it?
Loved Aiden and Emily!!
That was some crazy irony or a cruel trick after the last RHOBH episode! My eyes fell out the socket…did they really do that?! Other than that I couldn’t help but wonder if kim wasn’t playing herself! Same excited, qwerky mannerisms!
Kim looked petrified in the lunch scene. Her muscles in her face were kinda wonky like she was wanting to laugh during scene or scared/ shaky… Yes Revenge has jumped the shark but I will watch until the bitter end. Hopefully it will be after this season.
Well I want to see what the French girl will do now!! Ultimately the whole revenge thing is stupid just like Victoria told her! I think all that is left is for Emily to be with jack!
I WAS going to ABC and watch the re-run (I forgot last night), because I was interested in watching Kim act, but since she had so few lines, I won’t bother. At one time, I thought Kim was a good actor, but now, I dunno. Maybe the pills, booze, and nose candy have taken their toll. I hope not though.
Method acting at its finest…
Finally watched the episode and…what a non event! Kim said hardly anything. When she was in frame she was fidgety in an awkward way NOT in an acting way. Like they used her movements from between takes. It was far from a glowing endorsement of her acting abilities.
