i worked for an Australian company and learned early on that Australians don’t drink Fosters beer. That said, our Aussie TT friends can tip a glass for me too.
Im celebrating by wàtching some of the Chris Lilley mockumentary series: We Can Be Heroes, J’amie Private School Girl, Summer Heights High, and Angry Boys.
You guys will seriously harm the sales of Foster’s in the country if you don’t pipe down. We totes believe Everyone in Australia, especially all the manly blokes drink Foster’s oil cans and smash them on their broad foreheads. It’s the only reason we drink it.
When I was in college and it was Sunday, you could not buy beer at the store, but you could drink it at bars. If I wanted to drink at home, I’d go to the bar with my backpack and order two or three oil cans of Foster’s and gently carry the backpack full of open beers home.

I prefer Melbourne gastropubs. We used to have one of the top bars in all of the world here. Never was a beer ever served there. Especially not Fosters.
Well I’m off. Hubby has left the telly. Pump rules is on and I need a watch some. I really wish they would show them dealing with difficult customers every now and then. Cause I had to cop a few this Australia day long weekend
Love me some Australian’s too!
Technically, it’s not Australia Day There anymore. But we are just getting started celebrating it!
I was about to say… 🙂
Miz TT – (raised hand) What are mozzies ma’am?

Ty Tamara ☺️ I drank my first Fosters in Grand Rapids Mi. A well meaning American relative assumed that was what I wanted with my Thai dinner.

Aussies must not be big commenters because I often have way more Aussies here than Canookians or Brits (my top for countries of viewership).

I’m 100% Australian and can confirm that we definitely don’t drink Fosters! A beer made wholly for tourism and exporting.
Mozzies! Mosquitoes mate!
