After Kate and Jamie return to the group after the boardroom. Kate has a breakdown. She is dumbfounded that Brandi called her lazy. I agree. I saw Kate pretty much take over as project manager and do a ton of the cooking. Brandi (and Kenya) seemed to be doing the pie in the face part of the event (which wasn’t clearly edited. People did donate to throw pies at celebrities). I didn’t see Brandi (or Kenya) doing any cooking. Brandi’s job was to send out a few tweets and call Yolanda for money. I hate to take Kate’s side, but in this case I am. Then Brandi has the nerve to say in her talking head about Kate. “I’m sure she is very organized in her home with her eight kids, but she’s not a business woman. If she is not on TV yelling at her kids, what is she going to do?” If you replace “her kids” with “other housewives” you will see this is totally a case of projection. Brandi wasn’t no time in making enemies.
The Task
Make a commercial for NEAT a company that highlights a product to clean up digital clutter and showcases their cloud and wireless scanner.
The Teams
Infinity: Kenya Moore, Brandi Glanville, Kate Gosselin, Vivica Fox, Shawn Johnson (Olympic Gymnast), Leeza Gibbons, Jamie Anderson (Olympic Snowboarder)
Project Manager: None of the women feel competent with technology. Somehow Kate gets stuck with the job.
KENYA was away for the first part of the task filming the RHOA reunion.
Leeza Gibbons seems like this team’s best hope to win the challenge. None of the women are the least bit tech savvy. Shawn throws out an idea and everyone agrees and Kate is just nodding. Leeza and Brandi essentially take over the challenge while Kate makes sure everyone has a nutritious lunch.
Kate is asking Brandi what she should do. Now I am on team Brandi. Kate is useless and Brandi is surprisingly hard working. Leeza is directing the commercial. Kate is getting in the way.
Kenya arrives just when the editing is done of the commercial. The women’s commercial is awesome. Lots of branding, cute ending slogan, ” That’s Neat!” It looks like a winner to me. Vivica is the “neatologist” that the company said they wanted to roll out. They really pulled it off I spite of themselves. Leeza did most of the work and led the presentation.
Vortex: Ian Zierling (Beverly Hills 90210), Lorenzo Lamas, Geraldo Rivera, Kevin Jonas, Terrell Owens (Football), Johnny Damon (Baseball), Sig Hansen (Deadliest Catch) Gilbert Gottfried (Comedian)
Project Manager: Kevin Jonas
Kevin and Geraldo are still bumping heads. Kevin would not let Geraldo ride in his van. Ian, Lorenzo, Terrell
and Kevin came up with the idea in one van while everyone else was in the other. Geraldo tries to take over the task. Actually, he seems to be sabotaging the task. In the meeting with the client, he talks loudly on his cell phone the entire time.
Eventually, Kevin let’s Geraldo write the script. Sig gets the guy from Dirty Jobs to do the voice over. Everyone is excited except for Geraldo who thought he should do it. Lorenzo tries to placate Geraldo. It does go well. Geraldo is being a jackass.
The men’s commercial features Gilbert Gottfried which makes it a bit cartoonish and silly. I could not understand Gilbert. This commercial also ended with “That’s Neat” so I guess it was the company’s slogan to begin with. The women’s commercial a million times better.
The Boardroom:
First, Trump asks Geraldo about Kevin. He says some nice thinks but then says that he picked Lorenzo and Ian as the nucleus of his brain trust and didn’t let anyone in. Kevin agrees that he did that because he considered them to be the experts for the tasks. Kevin does not throw Gerald under the bus when asked who did the least work. Trump talks to Gilbert like he is retarded.
Kate is not confident that her team won. Kate says if they lose, Brandi should be fired. Kate says Brandi panicked.
The women won. Trump tried to make it seem close but it was not.
The men lost because they didn’t highlight the cloud enough. Kevin says that was a moment of conflict with Geraldo when he reviewed his script. He saw it was not focused on enough. The board wants to know why he didn’t change it since he was project manager.
Kevin brings back Ian, his friend, to support him in the boardroom and to try to get Geraldo sent home. Oh little Jonas boy, you are so going home. Kevin says Ian should go home over him! Wow! Trump is pissed with Kevin and Ian. He fires Kevin.
As Geraldo says, “I am not to be toyed with.” Brandi kisses Geraldo on the mouth when he comes out of the boardroom. All the ladies fawn over Geraldo. Ian is coming for Geraldo and so is Lorenzo. Good luck with that boys.
Sorry if this blog is a bit incoherent. I gots the crud and thinking is hard. But I think I’m up for another episode before bed!
First time commenting. I have been lurking since I found your blog a few months ago. Love it!
My question: I noticed that Donald is pronouncing Terrel’s name differently than I do (I’m from Phiily, he played for our team.) Does anyone know if Donald’s pronounciation is correct? I have always stressed the second syllable [tuh REL] and Trump says [TUR el].
I’ve only ever heard your pronunciation before.
It’s an accent thing. Some in NY/NJ say things like turrilbe for terrible. Like my dad. Or turlet for toilet. Like my grandfather. And one I’ll never understand…warsh for wash. I think that comes from 2 recessive genes because only a few in my family say that, and we’re from the same place.
I’ve always pronounced it like you, but Mr. Owens himself (and his family) pronounce it TUR-el. He has specifically said (back when he had a show) that it’s not tuh-REL.
Great review TT. However I need to add, I thought that Leeza basically said that Brandi was trying to sabotage Kate by just complaining and not doing anything. Leeza mentioned that she felt there wasn’t a lot of direction from Kate but wasn’t about to let the mission fail because Kate was clearly lost regarding the product. Brandi however, wasn’t supportive and Kate called her on it. I know this won’t be a popular statement but I have never seen one episode of any of the Real Housewives shows. I know… living under a rock… etc… etc. So, I don’t know Brandi, but it seemed like she needs to complain about someone to create conflict and whether she was told to or she decided on her own, she chose Kate. It just seemed weird.
Your instincts are correct on Brandi! It’s all about conflict and attention with her.
I agree. I thought I tried to express that. I am way off my game tonight. I am worried new people will show up today and wonder why in the world people read what I wrote. I just wanted to give everyone a place to discuss the episodes. I also don’t want to be spoiled because I can’t remember what I had for lunch let alone the spoilers I posted 9 months ago. 🙂

@Fascinated ~ You really should pat yourself on your back for your astuteness.
It will be interesting to see what you think of both Kenya and Brandi given the fact you do not watch Atlanta or Beverly Hills Housewives…
Fascinated . . . “I have never seen one episode of any of the Real Housewives shows” → You should be damn proud. And instead of saying “living under a rock” maybe you should think of yourself as a mythical unicorn. ツ
It’s interesting to hear a non-viewer give an opinion re Brandi. You nailed it! She loves nothing more than to stir shit. She’s a perpetual victim & a manipulator. In every situation she’s always scanning the room looking for the weakest link to pounce on (the sacrificial lamb) – someone to intimidate & harass — then once all eyes are on them (& off her shortcomings) → she wins!
She’s the queen of projection. Add that to her constant need for attention + a few stiff drinks & you’ve got a radioactive missile, cocked & ready to launch the most outlandish, vile garbage from her pie hole (e.g. her attack on Joanna Krupa, et al). False allegations? Who cares, as long as everyone’s thrown off course (with the added bonus of her in the limelight). And she’s getting attention alright, but it’s the “Holy shit, can you believe Brandi had the balls to say THAT” kind of attention. And she doesn’t give a shit who she hurts or uses for to garner attention (& make herself feel special & popular in the process) – even her 2 young boys aren’t off limits. Why she still has fans that adore her & think she’s got brass balls? No clue. At least she’s no longer called the “truth canyon”!
ETA: Here’s hoping Kenya Moore kicks her ass on Celebrity Apprentice
Autocorrect! I specifically typed (Brandi’s) no longer called the “truth cannon” & it came out “canyon”! ⊙_☉
Since she’s been SO vocal about it, you’d think even autocorrect would know → she had “tightening” surgery & she’s NO longer a “canyon”. シ
Okay Addie2U, the unicorn and the canyon comments.. too much. I spit out my tea. Pfffttt at first I thought Kenya seemed appropriate but after reading some of the comments, I’m scared to say anything in print in case she comes after me. lol
Ms. Fox tweeted that the reason kenya was late was because she was getting dragged by porsha at the reunion. She must really be mad about those tweets Kenya sent out smh.
LOL. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like they had a tentative truce in the beginning. And then things got cut throat. To be fair, if someone snagged my phone and tweeted out things to make me look bad, I’d be pissed too. That said, I can tweet things that make me look bad without any help. 🙂

Vivica is totally vile towards Kenya on twitter. I don’t think I like this old bitter Ms. I don’t see any point in discussing racism in merryca: we have black on black, white on white, woman on woman vicious attacks played out in public.
Disgusting.
My thoughts exactly
I’m totally out of the loop with Vivica. I’ve clearly heard her name & know she’s a star (of some sort) but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a movie or watched a show she’s been on. But what I did see of her tonight (towards Shawn Johnson) was pretty nasty (especially when the other women said sure she was in pain but it didn’t prevent her from performing her tasks). Can you imagine her as your boss? If she ever asks you how your feeling, you better always say “just marvelous” & no matter what — NEVER, ever let her see you wince in pain (otherwise “you’re fired)!
Geraldo is a pompous ass, but Terrel Ownes is *fine* — lord have mercy, I should follow football more closely.
That little snowboarder is such a delicate little flower who obviously hasn’t worked a day in her life and especially not in a restaurant to make a federal case out of Kenya being “rude” to her. And then not to accept Kenya’s apology like she can judge someone else’s sincerity? Bitch please. Kenya is obviously getting the rude black woman edit (as if we didn’t know that already).
Soooo…turns out Kenya actually is an asshole. Surprise, surprise. The girl is sick.
No, an asshole is a person who doesn’t accept an apology. Special little snow flake snowboarder needs to grow the fuck up.
So glad to hear you agree Lisa Vanderpump is an asshole!
So you think an Olympic level athlete has never worked a day in her life? Seriously?? Do you have any idea how much training and sacrifice an olympic athlete in any sport works? Apparently not…….
Lighten up francis.
I too notice the Geraldo kiss on the mouth. What a skank Brandi is!
(Totally off topic, my husband and I were waiting on a connection to Atlanta on Friday and stopped for a bite at Margaritaville in the San Juan airport, and there at the bar was none other than Geraldo Rivera).
So cool!

Since Geraldo sent out those selfies of him in a towel he is my antithesis of cool. My stupid husband walked out in a towel and said he was hotter than Geraldo; now there will be no sex till I can that out of my mind.
Yeah, what was that about??? Super weird.
Geraldo and Kevin Jonas are both egotistical and this is why they butted heads. Difference is Geraldo is a jerk. It was like watching a grown man throwing a 2 year old tantrum because they did not get their way,
I thought this also. They are very much the same asshole – just different ages. But Geraldo has been around forever and earned his grey hair so I thought Jonas more of a young whooper snapper prick. No way was Trump ever going to fire Geraldo – they have been friends for years and he is polarizing. It was like when Joan Rivers (I’m still in mourning) was on. So obvious she was picked for the win IMO – they were friends for over 40 yrs and he threw her a bone.
I agree, basically its rigged. I did not think the Jonas kid was an asshole, he seemed like he knew what he wanted and was not going to let old ass Geraldo sabatoge it. i used to be a huge Geraldo fan back in the day, the last 10 years not so much. He used to be a fearless investigative journalist now, anything for the almighty dollar. Not to mention the fact that he has been married 5 times and cheated on all his former wives.
I think Donald Trump cherishes a dream to become a real housewife. He obsesses over his hair, he lives on twitter, he loves being in the spotlight, and he’s certainly bitchy and catty enough.
Geraldo is all ego and a jerk. Makes me think of Kelly Bensimon telling Bethany the infamous I’m up here and you’re down there speech! Leeza Gibbons has had so much work done she is almost unrecognizable. Brandi’s work ethic has surprised me in a good way.
I’m sorry but I liked the guys commercial better. I thought the other commercial seemed more cheesy. I think that Vivaca is just a little too over the top for me. I also didn’t like how they put the gymnast on blast with the pd business. I was at work today and couldn’t get a thing done so I totally felt for her for the same reason. After reading Penn Gilletttes article I could totally see what he was talking about after watching tonight’s episode. I did like him on that show he seemed a cut above the rest when he was on.
I still hate Geraldo…why did Nick go home while no one pointed out that Geraldo is self-absorbed and not a team player??? Why did Geraldo survive when he came up with the MOST lame tag line that would lead to lawsuits promising things the company couldn’t deliver??? Aaaggggh!
because Gilbert is a joke. And Jokes get like 3 episodes…

Meow! Fivecarsownme. Donald could be Jersey and/or NY housewife. Thanks for the laugh.
I wish Kevin didn’t go home tonight. He is pompous but a pretty smart kid. I would have liked to see what he had to offer for later tasks. I really do think it’s more than some who stayed. Kate skated by on this one. She basically contributed nothing to her win. This was not the task for her to spew up on. She is lucky the other girls did a good job on the commercial. Kate really should have gone home this week, she just was not a good leader for this task. She should thank Leeza for this one or she would be on her way back with the kids.
It’s really interesting how this show lets us see these so called “celebrities” for who they really are…to see them vulnerable, unsure, confused, etc, very telling…Geraldo’s ego is way over the top, I could never imagine working with him…can you imagine having to be around him or married to him and have to listen to him go on and on about himself the way he does?…yikes!!!…it was so nasty of him to pull away from Lorenzo like that and say don’t touch me or whatever he said…now when I see Geraldo I throw-up a little in my mouth!
I think Geraldo is the perfect candidate for this game! He knows what he is doing an she is doing it well. He does have a pompous attitude and he is full of himself but the man owns his own island near Puerto Rico and that might give anyone a bit of a God complex.
Also Trump and Geraldo are very similar and there is no way Trump will cut him lose early. He is the villain and is great TV. I’m sure the women will loose the next task and one of the young girls will get the boot.
Been awhile since I’ve seen anyone as full of themselves as Geraldo. He made me dislike him immensely. I honestly had no opinion of him one way or another prior to the show. I remember his getting his nose broken on his show and then the infamous empty vault of Al Capone. Now I will forever think of him as a big ole jerk ! And Vivica! E-GADS ! Was she way over the top or what. She appears to be stuck on herself as well. Now Leeza. That lady is classy and smart. I think she has a good chance of winning. But if Geraldo is a long time friend of Trump…he will see to it that he goes far if not all the way.
Oh yeah, now I get the connection for Leeza being at Brandi’s housewarming party.
Geraldo surprised the same way Dionne Warwick did, and not in a good way.
Didn’t Geraldo get kicked out of Bagdad or somewhere because he kept giving away the troops locations or something equally irresponsible and potentialy dangerous?
Didn’t realize Kenya was filming the RHOA reunion during her stint w/ the Apprentice! This explains (at least in my mind) the coordinated attacks from Nene, Phaedra and of course Porsha – JEALOUSY!!! Nene sees Kenya’s star rising and wants to stop it. All the coordinated attacks in the blogs about Kenya is really weird. I even read Porsha’s column in a magazine and she stated that Kenya’s eyes and hair was fake and nothing burns me up more than when black people endorse this stereotype that black women can’t grow hair – like its some kind anomaly or something.
It also explains why she had little patience for Jamie.
I felt so bad for Kevin. Geraldo is a dick and his ego is over-inflated.
I really used to like Geraldo as well. Loved his show when it was on. I never realized he was such an a- hole. The don’t touch me thing and then the I don’t like to be pointed at in the end with Ian made me want to tap him in the back of his head like my mom used to when I said something stupid. I guess he thinks he gets a pass because of his age and years in the business, he can’t just say and do whatever he wants. He’s business savy and can win tasks but frankly I wouldn’t want him on my team cause I don’t think he understands teamwork. It’s not a dictatorship with everyone else being his minion.
This morning on the way to work I was listening to Entertainment Weekly radio. Jonas called in to discuss his dismissal. He said the board room scene took 3 1/2 hours to film. After presenting their respective cases to Trump they were sent out to the lobby while the 3 Trumps deliberated. Then they were brought back in, for more questions and then sent out again. Jonas thought that Trump really wanted to fire Lamas and had he brought him back in, he most likely would have. He also said had he answered Trump’s last question about Ian differently he would have been spared, but felt it was unethical to do that to Ian. He then said Geraldo apologized to him and shook his hand.
