For me one of the appeals of Lisa VP is that I don’t begrudge her for her stuff. Not sure if its her self-effacing or her joy of having it but she doesn’t rub me the wrong way with her wealth. Just can’t figure out how they live in it – we must be cave people because my family and I would not be able to keep any of that clean – even with a staff of maids. It’s like they don’t sweat, touch walls or have dirty socks. Just blows my mind how different they live from middle class Walmarters like meself. God Bless em. Only thing I would want is that patio and view.
I have to agree… All that white scares me. With a husband and 3 boys in the house, we have lots of color. And dirt. LVP’s house is beautiful and fun to look at.
Love it! It’s the right balance. Tasteful and not gaudy. Now compare Lisa’s house to the Gorga’s and Giudice’s McMansions! Maybe when I win the mega millions lotto, Lisa will help me with my dream house. Oops, that’s right, I got to remember to play that damn thing!
Lisa’s house if fabulous, like a little piece of heaven on earth. I love the way she decorates, so much light and the “play” of light that she utilizes. Very nice 🙂
It would be hard to begrudge her anything she has because she has worked hard for all of it,unlike some of the others. Her house is beautiful but I could never live there,I attract dirt!I would on the other hand love to live in her garden! All the water, the flowers and the swans!LOL
Hanky and panky need a spinoff! So cute. I love the black swans we have living around my neighborhood. They are more outgoing than I originally imagined.
Lisa does not portray her wealth as if money is outside growing on trees while she lounges on the sofa being pampered. Since Day 1, she has depicted herself as a hard working business woman. She makes that message loud and clear. She doesn’t come from generations of wealth that got passed down to her in the family tree. Nor did she necessarily marry rich so that she can have a sugar daddy and shopping sprees. So when you see all the luxury– it’s years of hard work that has paid off. That’s what makes her different & more respectable than many other rich people on TV.
One must give a hand to LVP for finessing screen time from a source to an audience other than BRAVO, AND the topic still involved things that matter to her and to the host Network, HGT, which filmed Lisa’s introductory puff peace.
HGT by being a Discovery Channel affiliate, is a positively the most ideal and natural platform for her about her home, her work, AND to introduce a wide range of audiences of numerous Discovery channels (a dozen or more) which feature interests span from animal medicine, pet care and training, crabbing on the Bering sea, pioneer spirit and lifestyle in Alaskan wilds, to Oprah, to Amish rebels and criminals, to a 21 day partner survival challenge in the most trying climate conditions to track, hunt and cook (iF fire could be made) all with a twist. The male/female ‘contestants are naked and have one tool each to help them survive.
The aforemented truly expansive audience may be made aware and wanting her line of houseware, linens and tableware. Lisa’s likeable because she’s a worker bee who can be bawdy and can also clean up well enough to reign as a queen bee.
I often wonder how many of the rooms in these mega mansions people really use. Let’s face it, there are only so many hours in the day. I don’t even use all the rooms in my little house and I’m home all day, every day.
It sounds like she basically lives in her bathroom and closet, but then who could blame her? It’s beautiful and I love it. but I don’t know how she does white with all those dogs. My two Yorkie critters would ruin it all i about two hours. I can’t even have decent bedding without those two monsters dripping, slobbering, puking or wiping their dirty butts all over it. And then there’s the very real possibility, I would spill red wine or spaghetti sauce on it.
Remember when Adrienne got her self tanner all over the furniture at somebody’s house — wasn’t that at Lisa’s?
I could not help but giggle at her saying she spends so much time in her bathroom. Even tho I could probably live in there. Let’s face it…it is not our average john.
when was this aired? Thats awesome that her house is featured on hgtv, it is a very beautiful home, but for some reason it looks even better in this video.
So much glass and mirrors . . . . . Had no idea Lisa’s “magic” would twist into a modern home. Imagined it to be more traditional. And . . . . very happy to not be the housekeeper, the polisher or the shiner!
I will share a little info I happen to know first hand about Lisa – she is an extremely thrifty shopper! I ran into her & Pandora once in a rug store her in NYC (that shall remain nameless) and the sales people were complaining that she comes in every time she’s in town, makes them do all this work & run around quoting pricing & giving her product info, but never buys from them. It is presumed she just uses the info to find it elsewhere for less. I imagine she has a resale certificate that allows her to register as a designer w/ many vendors & can just buy direct at trade/net pricing (I’m a designer so I happen to know a bit about this sort of thing). Also, those white tufted sofas are from Restoration Hardware – you can tell they’re catalog quality b/c of way the seat folds & how the linen is not tight & neat. My guess is that they’re from their Perrenials fabric line which is indoor/outdoor – you can spill anything & it will come out! She might be rich but she’s definitely a conscious spender!
Thanks, HiKitty. What you say about Lisa’s buying habit and the probability that she caries a card makes sense, since she has shared in the past that she decorated the businesses that she and Ken have owned, and it was very obvious as she decorated their newest venture, PUMP, promoted as gay club/eatery.
Gorgeous! !!!
Would she come and decorate my 7000 sq. ft. house please? I like her style sans the mirrors.

Btw I was region blocked from this video.
My Canookian lesbian lover is laid up in the bed and asking what to watch and nothing I am sending her is available either. It sucks.

Love the house and all the decor. I enjoy seeing people outside their usual arena.

Her how to decorate on a budget flower vase hints are hilarious.
Have I told you lately, how much I love you? She suddenly broke into hillbilly floral arrangements 101.
Merry Christmas and 10 Tamara Tattles Tokens to you.
