I hate reporting on things that did not happen but y’all read some crazy stuff and then expect me to explain to you why it was bullshit. Let me just remind you about something called “Just because you read something on the Internet doesn’t make it true.” I try to avoid blog wars as much as possible. So when you send me a link asking about the veracity of a site, I generally respond with “I’m sorry, I do not read/am not familiar with that site.” That should be a big enough hint.
But apparently, it is not. But there were plenty of issues with the story you should have been able to side eye on your own. The FEDS do not send “two probation officers, two interns and two local cops” to conduct a federal raid. In fact a “RAID” is something that occurs before the charges are even filed. What the Giudicies could be facing is a seizure of assets. Which will likely occur. It will not occur when a couple of interns drop buy to climb through trap doors in a closet ceiling. It will occur when some US Marshalls arrive. Not a half a band of merry men all named Marco from the probation office of Podunk county New Jersey.
Also, the site seems to have had “a source” standing on the porch texting them information the conversation between Tre and the collection of low level misfits. Part of this conversation was that “the court order was binding because she no longer has an attorney.” Um, what? How convenient to have someone recounting this conversation that makes no sense at all. I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THE PART WHERE THEY GAVE SOMETHING TO TERESA TO READ! BWAHAHAHAH THAT WAS THE BEST PART!
They took wrapped Christmas presents that totaled $11k (I suppose they could tell by the pretty paper) while Tre cried and cried for them not to take her children’s Christmas… ARE YOU STILL BUYING THIS? The entire process ended at “5:45 p.m.”??? Tre called Joe and he said he didn’t give a shit what they were doing and didn’t come home… ???
Seriously people. All of this makes sense to you? Now another site is citing the first one saying they found money in a wine cellar. Do I need to continue? Maybe I do because yet another site has picked up the story…SIGH.
HERE ARE THE FACTS:
“Reports that federal agents raided the Montville Township home of Teresa and Joe Giudice and seized Christmas presents, plasma televisions, jewelry and stashes of hidden cash are not true, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office that prosecuted the couple for bankruptcy, mail and wire fraud. Matt Reilly, the U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman, says his office is continuing to work with the couple to schedule repayment, and has not ordered any such seizure.” FROM A LEGITMATE MEDIA SOURCE ” Vicki Hyman from NJ.COM
Can we all please stop worrying that the family of felons might not get new iPhones this year now? Please and Thank You.
P.S. This is also fiction, “And his fib fooled the child. Then he patted her head, he got her a drink, and he sent her to bed. And when Cindy Lou Who was in bed with her cup, he crupt to the chimney and stuffed the tree up. Then he went up the chimney himself, the old liar, and the last thing he took was the log for their fire. On their walls, he left nothing but hooks and some wire. And the one speck of food that he left in the house was a crumb that was even too small for a mouse. “
