Everyone seems to have positive things to say about Lisa Rinna in their Bravo blogs this week. However, Brandi Glanville makes a point of letting us know her friendliness toward Lisa Rinna will be short lived. Brandi’s two remaining allies on the show, Yolanda and Kim seem to be taking opposite positions. Yolanda joins the chorus singing the praises of Lisa Rinna. Kim Richards is the only one without her hymnal open. Kim has not even mentioned her. May she has not met her yet. I suppose Kim and Brandi will bond over their dislike for her this season.
And everyone seems to be forecasting stormy times ahead…
It just feels right this season. Like I mentioned before, Lisa R. and Eileen add an authentic and substantial new flavor to our group that will be exciting for you to see. The sooner the rest of us can move on from wasting more breath on beaten-to-death past issues, the better.
Lisa R. is a fascinating chameleon that has been able to keep reinventing herself to stay relevant in such a challenging profession, and I love that she is proud to do whatever it takes to keep on laughing her way to the bank. A woman after my own heart.
Seeing Miss Glandville (note her spelling) with Adrienne was rather surprising for me. I am glad that she saw the situation clearly when remarking that she had to take responsibility for her own actions, not to cowardly try and alleviate herself from the catastrophe that she created.
I remember so clearly, gently chastising BG in the kitchen, still believing naively that her intentions weren’t all bad. In fact, that was probably the beginning of my realization of who we were dealing with.
Of course I show reticence at the beginning of this season with regard to engaging most of the women. It had been a devastating experience, and I was unsure of what to expect. I knew they had all had contact with each other over the many months that had passed, and I had had none until very recently with Kyle. When it was mentioned to me that maybe Lisa R. was joining, I felt slightly differently.
I laughed when viewing her with her young agent. You will enjoy getting to know her. Her energy is boundless and positivity infectious. I do believe you will be introduced to Eileen next week. Things change rather rapidly I am afraid, from this gentle start.
Brandi let’s us know that she has a major falling out with Lisa Rinna:
Observing Lisa Rinna at lunch with her agent, I can tell what a really hard worker and hustler she is. There is no shame in her game, and I like it! She is a mama bear taking care of her cubs and will do whatever it takes to provide. Having been married to an actor, I know show business is. It’s very fickle. One minute you’re hot, the next you’re not, and sometimes you do things that you may not always be proud of to make a buck. I like Lisa at this point.
And finally, Kyle warns us that the fun, silly episodes are over…
Lisa Rinna is always making me smile with her “go get ’em” attitude. She’s a hard worker, and I like that about her. Next week you will meet Eileen! I know you’ve all been excited about that. Enjoy this calm “catching up” beginning…it doesn’t last long!
