NEW YORK – October 22, 2014 – Fueled by ratings success, Bravo Media has renewed “Below Deck” for a third season as last night’s finale earned the highest-rated episode of the season among all key demos. Next Tuesday, October 28 at 9pm ET/PT, “The Crew Tells All” special takes a look back at lost footage from the first season with never-before-seen cast interviews. Get a closer look at the outrageous hijinks of the charter guests and crew.
Tune in on Tuesday, November 4 at 9pm ET/PT to the “Below Deck” reunion special as Andy Cohen plays host to the crew of M/Y Ohana as Captain Lee Rosbach, Chief Stew Kate Chastain, Chef Ben Robinson, Boson Eddie Lucas, Stews Kat Held and Amy Johnson, Deckhands Kelley Johnson, Jennice Ontiveros, Logan Reese and Andrew Sturby talk about the most outrageous and controversial moments of the season. From the truth behind Kate’s “rocket ship” blanket art, to Andrew’s dismissal from the boat and Kelley and Jennice’s current relationship status, the crew leaves no stone unturned and takes an in-depth look at the past season and answers viewers most burning questions.
SIGH.
i can’t help it, i love the show. gives me a glimpse into what my brother does all the time, the sights and all. the yacht was beautiful and it would be great to be able to charter one and have a great time and be catered to. the crew they put together for maximum chaos to give something to have a pull for each episode. thats fine, great, but how they say nasty shit about the guests isn’t ok. the slide is a huge pain in the ass to put up i am sure, we all have something in our job that we hate to do. all of us. i can’t imagine what it would be like to work on a yacht but i am sure it is very busy. my brother works for private owners who do not charter out, they will sometimes let friends use it for a week here or there. one owner let my brother use the yacht over christmas in antigua for his wife and kids, all the crew was there and it was a very “relaxed” trip.
REALLY Bravo!! I hope we get an entirely new crew except Logan who came in late and did not stir the pot, Amy who provides service with a smile, and Jennice who follows orders and will do whatever she can to help make the charter a success. Everyone else can be replaced and I hope there will be more footage of the guest during their port of call. Pffffttt……….
YESS!! I find this to be the most relatable show on Bravo (despite being on a megayacht, you have to admit they’re the most “normal” cast). Looking forward to the new season…cpt Lee cracks me up
I guess that I contributed to “Below Deck” being renewed by watching it all season. (I resent that.) Considering what I took away from BD, my apology may be due, because even I, a fan, strongly objected to how crew members were so nasty to/about their clients, the same people who paid an exorbitant fee to charter Ohana and its crew’s first class services, left very generous tips for the crew after crew members said terrible things about them. Sorry all. Unless the crew members offer sincere and specific apologies during their Season 2 reunion/recap. I won’t watch BD’s Season 3.
Ditto.
Adrienne Gang only cameo’d this season, and since she was so front and center for Season 1, I’m guessing money is what stopped her from being in Season 2.
Which begs the question, Will she return as full time cast for Season 3?
Honestly, outside of Captain Lee, I don’t need to see any of these others (Adrienne included) next season, but I can’t imagine who else would agree to sign up.
I liked the show mainly for Capt. Lee, like the other commenter said he cracks me up. The crew needs to clean up their mouths about the guests. The money they pay ” wow”, and then to be raged on the whole of their trip. The crew looks for a big tip, well I would think they need to be really nice in a big way for the money they get, and quit bitching.
I’m glad the show was renewed. It will be interest to watch for the next two Tuesdays and see what they have to say
Oh lord, I shouldn’t have watched the entire season. I don’t think I’ll watch the next, I already feel guilty that I may have contributed to a next season. Sorry Captain Lee and Eddy, but this show is past its sell by date.
me too. I quit watching anything but the replays halfway through except for the last one. You can bet Kate will be back. One year older and more jaded, if that is possible. Bleh.
I could watch a show with just Captain Lee. Love him. I could do without most of the cast. Ok maybe one with Captain Lee and Kat.
I would love to know what the crew is paid, not for being on the show, but what they get paid for doing their jobs.
The cast and guests are just as stupid as each other. Neither should be proud or impressed by their association with this show. I have zero sympathy for all of them.
I love Australia, I want to live there!
@ TT: Wow, I had no idea this show had become so dysfunctional inside and out. Seems like you’ve been put in a really hard place. I had enjoyed the show, but I think the choice of chief stew dragged the show down this season. Surprised it was renewed.
i am past over this one as i KNOW you are. the very fact that BD blog posts get fewer responses tell the story.
i liked capt lee but i think we saw too much of him this season and i liked him a lot less when i felt he gave the new chief stew way too much credit considering her rotten superior resentful attitude. the saying “a fish rots from the head down” comes to mind. when your chief stew has a totally unprofessional superior attitude toward guests who are paying up the nose for luxury service, it opens the door for her underlings to do the same. when your captain calls guests classless then talks about dragging his dick thru broken glass it’s sure a proud moment in maritime history. glad i didnt watch it this season. they owe the guests a huge apology & refund.
Ugggh, I understand why you aren’t posting, but I am DYING to know what the guests are emailing you!! Damn it, TT, don’t tease me! I’d be especially pissed if I was the caviar-slurping people from Jersey. The cast treated them like something stuck to their shoe.
I know, the underwear being shown on tv was beyond the pale and those were the guests that one of the TT readers posted were richer than god. And of course Kat just sinks to the level of whoever is around her so she participated in that…Kate is such a moron, I just went to her twitter and she tweeted about planes flying “30k miles” above the earth…here’s wishing she really does go to outer space.
One thing about the show is it doesn’t “seem” scripted. Looks like the crew spills their guts about how much they hate the guests with abandon. I did wonder what happens when the guests see the show and they hear their comments. But you have to admit, the crew is “The Help” and the help are always going to talk about the boss. So even if we didn’t see it, it would be happening and probably happens everywhere. At least the guests are not eating shit. Hahaha! (A scene from the movie The Help, in case you weren’t familiar).
Unless you like your job and like helping people. I mean, sure, complain about the slide, etc. But to pick apart every guest from the second you see his or her picture until you get your tip–sorry, they are in the wrong field.
Agreed. Some people, while they want the pay, still are not hard wired to work service jobs, especially jobs as intensely intimate and demanding as luxury charter cruises.
The female stews who demeaned a female guest, as they displayed and critiqued her undergarments as cameras roled was as disgustingly catty, cruel, classless and I believe resentful from envy as anyone could conceivably go aboard a chartered yacht.
I am over the show as well.
I missed the first season and wish Bravo would run a marathon like they do all their other shows so I can catch up. Based just on season 2 I think it’s a fun show to watch and, like others have mentioned, probably the most “real” cast on Bravo. I get how people think it’s rude that the crew complains about/ makes fun of the people they work for.. But I think that’s the norm for a group of young people in any service industry job.
They also do a crappy job and constantly have a disrespectful attitude. People can and do take pride in doing their so called service industry jobs and it must be painful for those people who are hardworking professionals and who do deserve those big tips to watch this group of low class clowns make a mockery of them and their profession.
I loveeeeeeeeeeee this show.. so glad its renewed!
I just can’t see how Kate can realistically be brought back to the show. Who in their right mind would book a charter knowing they will be the subject of her vitriolic rants on national TV?I think Kate bitched herself out of a job.
One would think they all did. Except on Bravo. I’d say they are ALL looking for new jobs once the show is over. Which will only really effect the captain and the actual industry people not the Andrews cast in the show.

I don’t mind that it’s renewed so long as they drop both those pigs Kate and Kat.
Kate who thought she was the best Chief Steward was nothing but a bitter jealous shrew who went so far as to try and point out to Adrienne how to do her job while screwing the pooch at every turn. As for Kat…what can you say about a drunken whore who got caught giving blow jobs to Amy’s wanna be beau…Then this drunk pig whore has the nerve to act like she is the hurt one! The victim! Cee U Next Tuesday is too good a name to call Kat.
How awkward for us as Below Deck fans when we realized that crazy Kat’s parents were our former neighbors! They were the sweetest people! Always stopping by to say hi and ask how we and the children were while walking their little Schnauzer Yorick. They must be mortified by their daughter’s behavior. Such nice, nice people they were, and great neighbors…(guessing its easier for them having their daughter living her drunken antics half a country away in Florida. We like our few alcoholic beverages now and then after a tough day, but she takes drinking to the extreme!) We’ve since moved on, but always wonder how our old neighbors and neighborhood are. Small world we live in!
No shit! It’s crazy how many neighbors of bravo folks read and comment at TT.
I’ve been getting interesting info about Phaedra all week.
