WWHL Tre and Joe 2

UPDATE: Jaysus, Despite the breaking news from some other site after the interview aired… there reason that no one was drinking and “there was no drinking word” was because it was taped interview on a serious topic that was filmed during the DAYTIME and Tre and possibly Joe were medicated for stress.  There was no alcohol ban at the reunion. But is was also filmed early in THE DAYTIME.  And their bail would not be revoked if OTHER PEOPLE were violent. What the fuck is wrong with that site? How do I have sources and they have NOTHING? There was beer for football for the men whose call time was 1PM. SMH.  Also I’m hearing Tre had a later call time so the ladies could talk about the sentencing without her there.  Not my usual source, but it does make sense. This way there are less softball questions when Tre is actually on camera.

It’s time for the first interview of Teresa and Joe Giudice since they were sentenced last Thursday. Teresa is facing 15 months in federal prison and Joe will do 41 (one for each count of fraud!) when she gets out.  Will Andy asked why they lied about their assets on the bankruptcy filings? I doubt it.  Will he ask about the strange question Joe Giudice asked production when he first came on the show? I doubt it.

I love how Andy starts off camera by saying “after months of proclaiming their innocence” hmmm maybe he will go hard on them.  Then a clip of Teresa saying “I’ll make this right, whatever right means.” That seemed to be a bit of a frankenbite. Interesting the dirty editing begins…

Teresa says she feels “numb and it is like surreal.” Teresa knows what surreal means? Boy those are some sparkly diamond studs in her ears. Andy reads out all of their charges that the pled guilty to.  Andy asks their reaction to the sentences. Joe says it was devastating. Teresa says, “yeah, I’m still numb.” Joe says he feels like he got hit in the back of the neck with a bat. Andy asked Joe if he was surprised his sentence was on the high end? Joe says he thinks it was a little high, he didn’t think he would get that much.

Teresa looks horrible. She can barely form words. She seems heavily medicated. Andy says there was a lot of speculation that she would not serve at all. Teresa says she was so nervous yesterday. She was shaking, her nerves were pulling (makes sweeping motions toward her arms) at one point she could not open or close her hands. She really can’t talk. She says she had sleepless nights. She was “shock.” I was very unexpected. I don’t even know what to say.

Andy asked Teresa if she has been in denial. Teresa says she needs to read things before she signs them. She can’t trust people to tell her what things says. She needs to full read things. You know those things she testified to in bankruptcy court on the stand. Or she needs to find a contract lawyer that can help her. You know like the one that negotiated this interview into her Season 6 contract. Or the ones she used for her book deals. Or the ones she used for her Fabellini brand. Or the Miliana Hair Care stuff. She needs one of them to help her when she goes to the bank and says she is a real estate agent who makes $15,000 a month. She should have checked with a lawyer first because she doesn’t know that is wrong. She wants to get better at contracts.WWHL Tre and Joe

Andy asked her if she is in a depression, if she is getting help. She say she is worried about her kids who need their mom.  It’s not the same with a father, a mom is a mom.

Andy asks her why she would take a plea that could send her to prison for 27 months. Teresa says she didn’t understand that part. I am pretty sure her lawyers explained the whole plea deal process to her and told her she was looking at MANY YEARS of federal prison and the plea deal was good for her and she would likely only do two years or less. Andy is incredulous. You didn’t understand it? Teresa smiled and closed her eyes during her whole answer. LYING! LYING LIAR WHO LIES!  Andy says, did your lawyer not tell you what the plea deal meant? Teresa says “I didn’t fully understand it.” OH MAN. Still lying your ass off. When you uttered the word GUILTY YOUR HONOR did you know what those three words meant?

Andy asks, what did you think would happen after you pled guilty?” I dunno, I thought my lawyer would fight for me!” Um seriously? You just admitted to committing 41 federal offenses. What’s left? Teresa says she was giving the court whatever they wanted from her and answering all of their questions. WITH LIES! This is less than 24 hrs after a judge has said you lied AGAIN on your probation presentencing documents and you still insist you were honest and upfront with the court?

Andy says they both have legal teams and PR teams and people working for them, how the hell is it possible that you got to court and the judge was angry with you for LYING AGAIN on your probation forms? Teresa says ” you mean things that were missing?” Theresa said that is why she was shocked. Andy said so how did that conversation with your attorneys go? Teresa said, after the judge ruled she did not talk with her attorneys. She left court. It was done.

Andy asks Joe if when he pled guilty he thought Tre would get jail time he says no. Andy asks if that is why he pled guilty Joe says yes. Joe seems a bit torn up, wiping his eyes. He is still wearing his wedding ring. I wonder if he included it on his asset form?

Joe and Teresa say if they went to trial on 41 charges and lose on one count they could get ten years for one count so they pled. Actually, it is Teresa who is explaining all of this. She knows exactly what is going on. Joe is still maintaining he doesn’t even know how many counts he had against him. The housewife is always the mastermind. I’m just saying.

Joe said he was expecting to go, but he didn’t think Teresa would. He said he took all the blame. Joe is in a three piece suit that is two sizes too big. He’s lost a lot of weight over this. Joe says Teresa had no part in it. He’s lying to protect her. She had very specific charges on her alone.

Andy says that he wants to talk about what she knew and what she didn’t know. He wants to know if she was just signing things without knowing what was going on. Andy and everyone on planet Earth with a brain knows that is not true Teresa says, “Andy, this was a long time ago.” Andy asks if Joe knew what she was asking her to sign. “Joe says, just whatever the bank gave him for her to sign.” Andy says but you were taking out false loans! Joe says, “Okay whatever I was taking out false loans.” Andy says, “They were phony W-2 forms.” Joe says, “They handed me the forms whatever they were. She’s never came to closings. She’s never even been to closings.” God DAYUM these people are idiots. Who makes million dollar loans to such idiots?

And says why did you do it? Did you need the money that bad? Where you keeping up with the Jones’? Andy says there was a time when Tre was very materialistic and said things like she didn’t want to live in a used house, etc.  Teresa says she regrets saying that. Teresa says she didn’t mean it that way, she would buy a used home. Andy actually is sort of going in here, I am impressed and this is taking me forever to recap because he is doing well!

OMG! TERESA JUST SAID SHE DOESN’T SPEND MONEY SHE DOES NOT HAVE!  I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE MINDSET OF THESE MORONS. She filed for a $13 million bankruptcy. WHAT PART OF YOU DON’T HAVE 13 million to spend do you not get?  I am banging my head on the fucking wall. You “bought” to use the common vernacular a house that cost less than a million when you bought it and have less than $200k in equity? WTF? YOU BRAINLESS MORON. Can we give her more time for being too stupid to breathe?

Andy says she got a lot of flack for carrying a $3k purse on the show last week when she was hunting for used houses. Teresa actually did Andy a solid and say she doesn’t pay retail. In other words, ANDREW, that was a promotional consideration and out of all the things that are wrong with these two, that one is on YOU.

Joe asks Andy how much he thinks his suit costs. Andy says $600. Joe says “you get two suits, two shirts, two ties for $250. And it’s Italian and they tailor it. ” Andy says, “Very good.” LOL. I would have said where is the car with those in the trunk? Chinatown?  Tre asked how much the suit Andy is wearing is. He says he doesn’t pay retail. Tre says and that is the thing, when you are on a TV show people send you things or give you discounts.  Andy shoots back, “But I paid taxes on this suit.” Teresa says I’ve always paid my taxes. (She actually has, Joe doesn’t).

RHONJ Guilt trip gia

Andy asks Teresa to describe what happens when they got home from court. Tre says the whole family was there. Her mom was shocked and upset and Tre’s heart was breaking. Gia was crying.  Gia told her it was going to be okay, not to worry she will help Dad with the girls. Gia said it would help her to be a better mom when she is a mom one day.

Tre says (and this seems like news to Joe) that she got a call from Gia’s guidance counselor who promises to counsel her once a week and make sure she is okay. Gia is worried about is her mom.  Tre says she is an old school mom. She does everything with her daughters. She is very hands on. She is a real stay at home mom who cares for her four girls all day. (Okay she could be breaking me here) And now Joe is going to have to be her  and do what she does and, well that should by interesting. (that last part was me).

Joe says it is going to be a lot of work. But they are his daughters and he has to do what he has to do. They are his daughters and he guesses he will HAVE TO BE THE HOUSEWIFE!  Spin-off. Dude has no other job!

Andy asks if the younger girls know and Teresa says they haven’t talked to them yet. Andy points out that they are in school TODAY. Joe says that Milania asked him if he had something to say to her. He thinks they know. (duh!) Theresa looks like she did not want to be confronted with the obvious on national TV. Andy asks if she doesn’t think a third grader is going to hear from her friends that her parents are going to prison? Tre says no. OMG. Joe says Gabriella knows something too. Tre is either REALLY REALLY  REALLY stupid or pretending to be when she says know, Gabriella gave me a kiss this morning. Um, really? Tre says Milania and Audriana give her a kiss every morning but Gabriella…. she is not that affectionate. Teresa still is clueless. Joe said even Milania asked why everyone was at the house because the last time was…. he trails off… Andy says “When your Dad passed.”  Teresa is so doped up she doesn’t realize the girls know.

Teresa is not making sense about what she will eventually tell the girls.  Tre and Joe are grateful for the staggered sentences. Andy asked if he is scared of prison. He says he is more scared for his wife (I love that he calls her that now, you know instead of cunt, it’s amazing how men know exactly how to behave when necessary) than he is for himself.  OTOH Joe still thinks they are going to jail.

I’d like to figure out a way to kill everyone with an IQ less than 100. It’s the only way to move forward in my opinion. Sorry tards. Times are rough and you are fucking up the economy by being media whores. Bravo has decided to do an old-fashioned carnival show, but they forgot that the freaks don’t need to be paid much.

Andy asks Tre how she will do in prison. She says she will be fine. She will just slick her hair back and go on about her day. If she can afford Vaseline for whatever hair is hers. She did not say that last part.

Tre does have a wedding ring on. Earlier it looked like none.. did she put one on? She says she wants to see the kids. She says Joe says he will bring them twice a week. She says once a week is more reasonable.  If she gets Danbury, and the judge seems to want her to keep her kids that an hour and a half each way.  She did not say that, I did. There is no guarantee that she will get Danbury but the judge seems very liberal.

Andy asks if she is worried about losing her temper in prison. She says no. Andy brings up the infamous reunion push that he has clearly never gotten over. She says that is insane. She has grown since then.

NEXT TIME: Andy asks about the scripted comments regarding the show. Joe’s deportment. and other things…

Ok TT, I have so many questions but the one I really want answered is this:
If Joe is deported after “college” how will our government enforce the repayment of the 13 million?

The government could give a shit. the $414,000 is just the government’s loss. They will get that first. It’s how they do. The other 12.5 mil owed to the private businesses they could not care less.

That said they won’t deport him.

Oh, I see. I have been wondering if they will deport him just because everytime his name is brought up that’s like the tag line they give him.
Teresa did seem drugged and I have to say I lost even more respect for her tonight and I didn’t think that was possible.
With all that said, I actually feel Joe might get it. he gets no free pass from me, he is a shit guy in my opinion, but I just feel like at this point he just wants to say his peace, go to college and get on with it. She is still very much the victim in her mind.

OMG Melissa…I know…she RLY IS THE VICTIM in her twisted delusional head!! She has completely lost touch w/reality. Ladies & gents, Teresa Giudice has lied to herself for SO long that she NO longer knows what the truth is nor does she remember it.

Is it just me or is she using her kids for sympathy?? Ya Ya Ya, I know, Iz know…she’s a “good mom” or appears to be, BUT she KEEPS. Reminding. Us.
We EFFING KNOW. You’re a mom of 4 little girls. WE KNOW BTCH. STFU already. It’s not our problem, you should’ve thought about that when you embarked on the road of living the lifestyle of Beyonce & Jay Z?

I could barely watch it guys! Was I the only one? Holy shitballs! Lie after lie after LIE!!!! Finally Andy dragged it out of Joe, YOU GOT FRAUDULENT LOANS! You LIED. Ummm, he just signed papers he was given from banks?!? OMG REALLY??
Andy finally telling them YOU SUBMITTED FAKE W-2’s. Teresa sat there & babbled HER ILLOGICAL & RIDICULOUS LIES! Blaming everyone she could OTHER than herself. First it was her lawyers! Lol she hired them & they were supposed to “do their jobs”..WTF was that exactly??? Go to court & get her exonerated of anything & everything she possibly did?
No. Wait. That’s right. She did nothing wrong. She didn’t read anything she signed, she has to “start learning to read things” she’s given. Hire people who know contracts. BTCH PLS STFU. Just shut up!! My head was about to explode. What else does she believe? That Juicy Joe her “sexy” hubby the “love of her life” fooled her? He’s the one who handed her papers to sign. Was it the banks? Did they do it too? It was THEIR idea! The fraud, the lies, living beyond their means, tax evasion, all of it!
        WHAT. THE. FUK…
She didn’t know what a plea deal was???? She didn’t know WHY she decided it wasn’t a good idea to maintain her innocence to the court?
No. Wait. That’s right. She IS innocent. She was told to take a plea deal Bc if they found her guilty of even 1 charge she would face..like..10 years in prison..WHICH IS WHAT SHE DESERVES. So she copped a plea for crimes she didn’t commit.

I don’t know that “deep down” she even knows that she’s guilty guys. I think Teresa is THAT delusional. I think Teresa has been lying to herself for so long she no longer knows she’s guilty. That’s how insane this btch is.

Her girls need her..they need her…a dad isn’t the same…
Plenty of kids are, at this moment & in the past, been raised by their father alone. Get the fuk over yourself. You’re LUCKY you’re both not headed to jail next week btch! It’s only a YEAR, and PLEASE, the jig is up, your mom will move in & raise those girls, for the wat? TOPS 12 months she’ll serve? Who better to watch over ur kids that ur own Mom? My grams lived w/us until I was 15, took us to school & picked us up (my mom worked full time)…newsflash, kids all around the world are raised by grandparents, family members & in her case, it’s for less than a year, I have ZERO SYMPATHY for her as a mother Bc she REFUSES TO ADMIT she did ANYthing wrong, which, in my world, makes her a VERY BAD MOTHER. Wtf is she teaching her daughters?? That cheating & lying & stealing isn’t wrong & that illegal activities are ok? That you shouldn’t EVER admit that u dod wrong? She acted like she didn’t care for a wealthy lifestyle hahaha!!! REALLY?? Then what’s with that gorgeous fur she wore that night at Gottis home? Anyone saw that coat? She doesn’t have to wear that stuff. Dina doesn’t dress THAT expensive. She CAN take it down a notch ppl. What about YSL heels and the Louboutins? Or the diamonds she still rocks? The extensions? Btch please. Loved how Andy asked her about her appearance & how she’s gonna deal in prison lolol that’s right Teresa, ya that’s how stupid & shallow you are, ppl want to know how your going 2 deal w/out the team of beauty pros in prison.

Just keep bringing up the fact that you have kids…as if you’re the first & only mother in the world. Anyone can have kids, you don’t need to pass aptitude or IQ or any sort of tests to become a mother..no offense to the moms here, but it’s true.

        I just can’t..I can’t STAND HER.
I refuse to watch her anymore and will never ever purchase anything she sells or promotes. I haven’t ever & WONT. She doesn’t deserve a damn penny I have worked for. She is ridiculous & this interview was GROSS.

She was so drugged, her face looked completely different to me. I had noticed it in the preview pic, there was something strange about her mouth, besides the fact this is the only time I think I’ve seen her not smile. Usually she just smiles and laughs her way through everything, even when she’s fighting with someone.

Deporting Joe would be a little hypocritical since we are paying billions in benefits to illegal immigrants who are also breaking federal law. Could anyone really be that stupid? Wow, Teresa out did herself in the dumb department. Joe just plays dumb…or is he really just as stupid? It boggles the mind.

Omg! Brilliant recap! I don’t even know where to begin.
It was strange hearing juicy say the word wife…I think that was a first!
All this talk about the daughters…he should have asked her why she wasn’t worried about her daughters BEFORE participating in criminal activities. Isn’t that the first reason most mothers are law abiding citizens?
I cannot wrap my head around what these 2 say….it goes against all logic.
Her not understanding the plea…then immediately starts explaining the law…wtf!
There is NO way she was not in on all of this right from the start.
They didn’t need the money. She doesn’t spend money she doesn’t have. I just can’t with these two.
There is no prison sentence long enough.

      THIS:
“All this talk about the daughters…he should have asked her why she wasn’t worried about her daughters BEFORE participating in criminal activities. Isn’t that the first reason most mothers are law abiding citizens?”

      EXACTLY! My main point.
Isn’t that the reason mothers drive much more cautiously? Never find themselves in compromising positions?..the kind Which could land them in trouble let alone…prison? Don’t good moms lead by example so their girls have a hero to look up to? I know my mother did.

CALL ME CRAZY but Ive always thought living a moral, virtuous, honorable life of integrity was a part of being a good mom & parent.

That’s what makes Teresa’s whole “my girls need me” cry for help fall on deaf ears with me. I think those girls need a STRONG mother, strong enough to stand by her morals & not cheat to get ahead. A good mother who doesn’t lie & live a false life for fame. I hope Teresa actually learns something in prison. She CLAIMS she doesn’t care for materialistic things now but I’m not buying it…not yet..actions speak louder than words let’s see. I kno she THINKS she’s Mom of the Year but her sentence wasn’t Bc she stood up for what she believes in, wasn’t anything honorable, was the exact OPPOSITE. I’m not perfect, of course I make mistakes but I don’t blame them on others & REFUSE to take responsibility for my actions. Grow the eff up Teresa. YOUR DAUGHTERS ARE WATCHING.

I watched a show about John Gotti and his adult kids talked about how they didn’t understand why their dad chose to throw his life away on crime when he had so much to live for and loved his family so much. They said it was the most stupid things they could think of, and it would be the worst thing their kids could ever do to them. Hopefully this all scares the Giudice girls into living their lives with integrity and they avoid following in their parents footsteps – this kind of fraud/excess seems to be the norm with this family which is why I think Teresa is so shocked that others get away with it but she didn’t.

Exactly!!! And I think that’s what made the judge decide to make an example of her. All that sad victim act about how her girls need her mom doesn’t work when you actively participated in illegal activities that put your whole family at risk. I would’ve respected them both if they simply said that they did all that stuff, they regreted it and now they’re paying the consequences. But nooooo, Teresa just signed what Joe gave her (ignoring the fact she posed as a real estate agent…does she think we don’t have access to the court documents?) and Joe just signed the illegal w-2 forms the bank gave him….come on!! What kind of example are they giving to their daughters? You can’t play the good mom card if you committed crimes, were exposed in court as a liar and keep on lying just to keep the image of the innocent good wife and mother. I do agree with what has been said here: she IS delusional. There is something a bit Blanche DuBois about her, she’s sort of created a fake reality of her live and refuses to see the truth: she’s a peaceful-never loses her temper, truthful-there’s nothing fake about her!, she has the perfect marriage-her husband has never been unfaithful, never lies nor commits crimes, she’s down to earth, she’s smart, never jealous of anyone else, the best friend you could have…etc etc. It would be fascinating if she weren’t, you know, a deluded criminal…and STUPID! The Giudices are just way too stupid. They’re so stupid that they don’t even know how to pronounce their last name. I mean, I took just one year of Italian at college and I speak it better than them. (Also, Giudice means Judge in italian…you can’t make this stuff up!)
I wonder how Teresa’s going to act while inside prison…I don’t think her little shtick is going to fly.

The interview was very hard to watch. In spite of what happened, I’m still a Tre and Joe fan. In Fed prison you only have to serve 85% of your sentence with good behavior. Plus it’s safer than regular prison. I hope the kids will be okay, they are the innocent ones.

I was thinking the same thing lolol scratching my head…85% is a good thing? There are many reasons the Feds stick to that, and none of them are in the FAVOR of criminals it actually scares ppl lmfao u KNOW you’re not getting away easy once sentenced! Bc in “regular” prisons u can end up doing HALF your sentence. Seriously. Maybe less!
Guaranteeing 85% is NOT something the Feds enforce to “help out” their criminals.

Second, I believe several cast members, including her own brother, have made the comment that Tre can never admit when she is wrong. To quote Kristen. DELUUUUUSIONAL

I wonder how that works? You walk into the bank in New Jersey and say, “Hi, I’m Italian, I want to see the crooked Italian banker, his name is Joe. My cousin Joe, who works on the construction crew, saw him last week and this week he’s driving a new Porsche and has W2’s saying he’s a stock broker. I need a loan and I want THAT guy.”

Yes, profiling, but…based on their “everyone’s do’in it” attitude I’m sure there’s some dirty banker culpability in there somewhere. Not defending them AT ALL and I’m sure the bank didn’t pass out W2’s like Joe seems to think we’re all stupid enough to believe but I don’t see how these two did this on their own, at least not to start with. Maybe they hand out W2’s and $200 suitsx2 from the same trunk?

Joe was also the man who said “It’s not like I killed anyone” to his wife. As if the only crimes punishable should be murders.

I remember that scene in their private pool on vacation in the desert…Teresa tearing up, worried her baby boy is a good man and father (do he should be exonerated of all crimes) talking head into cameras that Joe doesn’t deserve this yadda yadda…Bc she NEVER in her ignorant head EVER thought SHE would get in trouble for HER crimes lol it was all on Joe…I actually like juicy ALOT more than Teresa.

        Now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d say.

I don’t even want to watch Part 2 of WWHL. Prefer to read your synopsis, Tamara. Joe and Teresa took no ownership of their crimes other than to plead stupidity. If I was the judge I would be pissed if I watched the show and witnessed their lack of remorse after pleading so eloquently for leniency. They are nothing but cheats and liars.

      *. How crappy Joe’s two-fer suit looked
*. how absurdly orange Teresa’s legs looked
*. No jewelry other than a wedding band and big honkin’ diamond/zirconium/costume studs.
*. How she seemed much morenfuzzy brained than normal

He also confronts her on the obvious..if you “didn’t know what you were signing” isn’t that actually saying that your HUSBAND took advantage to you? Used you? Now ur headed to prison Bc of it? Why aren’t you PISSED OFF about that Mrs. Innocent??

If my husband tricked me, used me, LIED to me & took advantage of my trust & Bc of that I was headed to fkin prison for a year, leaving my FOUR underage kids…he BETTER be worried, Bc Lorena Bobbit got nothing on what about to go down!!!! The scuttlebutt is these people got paid a lot of money for this interview. What a colossal waste of money.
As usual, Andy will ask a question but will not pressure anyone if the question is deflected or the answer is just blathering BS. Nor will he follow up correcting anyone if they give stupid answers…like Teresa saying once again that she didn’t spend money she didn’t have! Andy could have simply said that may be true but she did spend other peoples’ money to the tune of having to file bankruptcy for 13 million dollars. But he didn’t!
Even though they pled guilty and have been convicted, they still won’t
admit to their crimes. Joe just blew off the conversation when Andy mentioned the fake tax returns – that fraudulent action was shrugged off as if he had only been accused of kicking the family dog.
Teresa said she had no idea what pleading guilty to the charges meant. When Andy asked her if the attorneys had explained it, she said yes they explained things but she didn’t understand any of it including that prison was a possibility. That is total BS. In March, when they pled guilty, the judge would have questioned her in many different ways to assure that Teresa knew what her plea meant and the ramifications. I would like to get my hands on the colloquy!
My eyes starting spinning around in my head when she said she will have to start reading contracts that are stuck under her nose – because she is trustworthy but others are not. How dumb can she be – what others? It was her husband who was sticking the contracts under her nose.
And why did they waste a couple of expensive minutes talking about Joe’s cheap suits? Comic relief?

Me too – between this post and TT’s blog you guys covered about 100 of the crazy things I noticed during the interview – as Teresa said in her ghost written blog, I felt like Alice in Wonderland. It drove me crazy that Andy had enough balls to ask some tough questions but not to probe further when they gave vague or BS answers. Your examples were spot on, but also when he asked about ommitting assets, and she said “I gave them everything they asked, I would have given them anything.” Why not mention the specific things she ommitted? You don’t forget about RVs, vehicles, businesses… Also to put $0 for jewelry – REALLY? ZERO? Even if she does say she sold it and bought costume jewelry, that has value, and I doubt she gave up her engagement ring. At least put $500 or SOMETHING….sheesh. Also I wish he’d asked about the 4-month delay in getting they paperwork in, He did try to press her initially about not understanding what it meant to plead guilty and she just didn’t play along, so maybe he gave up at that point. I had guessed she wasn’t going to come clean about anything, but it’s nice that Joe did a bit.

Personally, I did not think he would ask any “hard” questions. I am surprised everyone thought they were going to admit to anything beyond what they have already said. I think it is fairly apparent, that Teresa is pretty delusional and has been for quite sometime. This is not new behavior for her. She has been like this in her dealings with others on the show. None of the conflicts she was ever involved in were her fault (like this mess) she always blamed it on anyone but her. Nothing new here….nothing at all!

Bravo wants to ride this train for as long as possible; even though Teresa is both money and fame hungry and I don’t think there’s very much she WOULDN’T put up with to stay on TV, including losing your family and friends, Andy still needs to be conscious of their relationship/”friendship”.

It’s not like a third party interviewer that can come in, reem them, and never have to deal with the interviewee again. Andy has to (or wants to) continue to work with these two for a long time to come.

The past week Bravo had some past seasons of RHONJ on and Teresa was AWFUL. She could just admit it was a stupid, immature thing to say and she’s matured now, ugh. When my mom gave me a copy of her credit card for emergencies when I was about 10, she explained she had to pay for anything I charged every month. Make no mistake, I think they both deserve to go to prison, and I’m happy and relieved they are (because they STILL DON’T GET IT), but doing illegal things doesn’t always mean you’re a totally horrible person with an evil black heart. So, if that is the case with the Giudice girls, then I hope they get a spinoff. Also for the ability for Joe to earn some money. (Ratings gold, public sympathy)

It’s all very sad. They were still evasive, but I didn’t expect them to have a catharsis. Andy did a good job but is Bravo just a little offended by Tre saying the show is scripted in court? On Thursday, Andy asks her was it scripted when she tipped the table. OK, that seems like he’s going in and a bit self-righteous. And for every unscripted moment there are about 1000 scripted. Looks like Tre isn’t the only one who can’t own their own bad deeds. Guess Bravo doesn’t want to look bad when their felons point the finger back at them.

That can happen without benzos with extreme stress/anxiety, but she appeared drugged to the hilt. Teresa normally has trouble putting a coherent sentence together, as well as understanding many words in the English language. I think she probably has the vocabulary of a three year old on a good day. Andy was fairly good about giving her synonyms to help her grasp what he was saying, but she couldn’t quite grasp the word “omissions”. So so hard to watch. Joe doesn’t do any better with language, I guess that’s why they make a good pair. They can grunt and understand each other.

But did Teresa pay her taxes? I thought Count 36 was Failure to make a tax return. TT?

Also, when you plead guilty, usually the judge makes a big f*cking deal about making sure you understand what that means, and that you are now considered guilty and this over except the sentencing, etc etc, because no one wants an appeal filed over grounds that the defendant didn’t understand. I’m sure everyone had that wording locked up tight. I would have more sympathy for them if they just admitted they fucked up instead of continually trying to convince us they’re just poor little knuckleheads who were taken advantage of by the system.

Teresa’s understanding of the charges at this point (and her pretty clear explanations of them) shows that the woman is not actually stupid. She may have a tenuous grasp of the English language, but she has comprehension abilities. Joe practically bit his tongue stopping himself from saying he took the fall for all of it so she wouldn’t have to serve, and I absolutely believe she knew what she was doing. She may not have understood the severity, but she knew she was signing and issuing false documents.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if their lawyers really did just exit the back door immediately and go to the bar and celebrate that this disaster is over and they’ll never have to see those two again.

How much time will T actually serve? Under U.S. federal law, prisoners serving more than one year in prison get 54 days a year of good time for every year they serve. So more like 13 months, right?

Delusion.denial.denial.delusion. Teresa said something like “My mom couldn’t believe it, she said ‘you never did anything wrong, you were such a good kid’.” I believe she really feels she is not wrong, but it is out of this delusional sense of entitlement. The same that bore her belief that if she pays her attorney he should be able to make all the lies, cheating and fraud disappear without consequence.

Oh, and about that temper, all it will take is someone inferring she is stupid and that blind rage of hers will come right out.

I was really hoping she would OWN her shit, do the interview, answer all the questions and show some remorse. I was so wrong. Just makes me a super NOT-fan of hers. She really does deserve to go to Prison. She has no clue what prison will be like (I haven’t been there so I don’t know either, thank God). She’s in for a rude awakening. Having ones freedom taken away can really make a person think and usually it changes their lives. There will be many moments in prison where she will be humiliated and hopefully she comes out remorseful with a softer heart. I am not a fan of hers but I sure do feel for these asshats children.

She is somewhat stupid, but she also has that vacuous act down pat when it serves her purpose. She has the audacity to say she never spent money she didn’t have; that she worked so she had money to spend?

Joe acts as if people from the bank dropped by his house forty-one times with papers to sign and all he did was sign them.

I think she had to pay that before sentencing. Sentencing is over guys. They can say any stupid thing they want, but the judge can’t change the sentence.

She could if she really wanted to have the prosecutor file perjury charges for the false asset statements during sentencing, but that’s extremely unlikely.

I think her whole real confusion comes from the fact that with her great legal team, the PR people and Joe taking the blame for most of it, how dare all those people let her get jail time. She’s a mother of four beautiful daughters after all. All she heard when they talked was their plan to get her house arrest. If she had gotten house arrest, I don’t think we’d be seeing any of this poor, poor pitiful me crap. I think she would be secretly dancing a gig behind closed doors still not accepting her fault in any of this but planning her second chance/comeback agenda. Talk about a storyline for RHONJ.

The only smart thing the Guidices did was take the plea deal. Tre only got 15 months instead of 15 years and in minimum security.. She will be able to see her kids once a week, get mail, books and magazines, go outside in the fresh air. She won’t be able to get away with her self delusional bullshit with the other women. Can’t con a con. The girls will do fine with Joe. He seems to be a hands on parent. Those girls love him. He probably won’t have the patience to dress them in all the glittery tutus;matching hair ribbons to socks, but the girls might enjoy the lack of anal retentive perfection. I hope he is smart enough to be the parent and not let Gia assume that role.
Tre, serve your time and count yourself lucky. Take some responsibilty for yourself, and you may come out of this a happier person. Plus, this is not all your husband’s fault. You signed the papers and spent the money.

I think they should have had legal representation at this interview. They would on most talk shows this soon after sentencing. Everyone knew they would make a mess of answering any direct questions. They always have, even with something not of a legal nature.

I did think Andy was being a petty weenie asking Teresa about make up and her temper. Like anyone is going to admit they will miss mascara and be afraid of the big girls at this point. Tamara! Most awesome recap ever! I completely agree with “everyone1becalm”‘s observation that, if Vinny Politano were their attorney, he would withdraw the guilty pleas and send the case to jury trial if, as they claim, they didn’t understand what was going on This is such bull poop. When defendants enters a guilty plea, each and every consequence of that plea is explained to them, in detail, and they sign and initial a document detailing those conditions. They would have had to be comatose not to know what was going on. Then Teresa states she was shocked by the sentence because ‘your attorney is supposed to help you’. Doesn’t she realize he DID help her. They faced a truckload of charges and could have been sentenced much more severely, let alone remanded immediately and together. Teresa looked out of it and Joe looked uneasy with his little piggy eyes, while quietly and reluctantly giving his best “Oh, what a wonderful, misunderstood man I am” impersonation, and looking as though he is holding everything in to the point of going absolutely berserk if he ever lets it out. Mark my word, they aren’t done yet. I don’t think they’ll get away with pleading incompetent representation, but they’ll do something. Joe looks decidedly unenthusiastic about his role as mommy/daddy and will for sure pull some kind of nervous breakdown or rehab stunt to try and get Teresa released early. Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive…………..

I’m quite sure Joe is telling the truth when he says he wishes he could just go and get it over with. Frankly, I think the judge knew that making Teresa go first was actually adding more punishment to both of them. Those girls would be better off to be with relatives even if they had to be split up for a year. That would be less traumatic than what is going to take place.

It was a knee jerk response. I cannot imagine getting so worked up over this particular situation, that I would let it ruin my evening and cause me to scream at a television set. Yes, I think it is awful, but I am not going to let it ruin my day. There are far more egregious things going on in the world, that people/entities are “getting away” with, that no one ever says much about. This is small potatoes compared to say, the American Citizens being executed by a bunch of terrorists, the people that are stealing our credit info and selling it on the black market and the inability of the police/FBI/secret service to do anything about it. And then we have the behavior of our elected officials (both parties) that accomplish nothing, are paid top dollar to do nothing and at the end of the day, are just out for what they can get for themselves. Now that is infuriating!

She paid all of her taxes?? her children are her first priority but she sent them to school without telling them herself what is going on?? she didn’t understand she could go to prison for pleading guilty??

She is taking zippo responsibility, has learned nothing, and comes across as the most selfish person ever. If Joe is 100% responsible wouldn’t she be so ANGREY?? Do you notice how she lights ups when it is about HER (like Gia saying her mom is who she is the most worried about, and when she read the email from Jacq saying she was the strongest woman she knew) So very narcissistic. I keep flashing back to an early season when she pranced around in her bathing suit in front of everyone on a trip and Caroline was so annoyed. She called that one early!

And Andy? please…ask some follow up questions when they give you a stupid answer..this was your chance to be taken seriously and you didn’t rise to the occasion.

Not only would the judge have gone through the deal point by point, they both would have signed a plea agreement that spells out exactly what the deal was. I’m a lawyer and I get calls from defendants all the time who want a do over. The thing is, the agreement is between the defendant and the government. The government agrees to recommend a sentence (with the feds, it’s usually a sentencing range). But the judge isn’t bound by the agreement. Tre was obviously thinking she would not get any jail time but her lawyers would have told her a zillion times that there was no guarantee. But she comes out of court and says she didn’t understand. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard defendants make this claim. The whole process is designed into locking you into the deal so when you come back later and say you didn’t understand, the government can point out exactly where the paperwork explained it and where the judge explained it. Rarely is there some mistake that will give the defendant room to wiggle out of a plea agreement.

Does anyone think she would learn anything even if that happened? Even if it went to trial and they got 10-20 years each instead? Teresa is classic narcissistic personality disorder. My sis has it and she CAN NOT say she was wrong or lied EVER, even when caught red-handed (which happens a lot). She’ll continue spinning it, lying, deflecting, blaming others, but will never say she was wrong or she’s sorry.
It really is an amazing summary/analysis, TT. I’ve never followed a blog before but I’m so glad I found this one.

The only thing Teresa is sorry about is getting a judge that gave her jail time and not having a legal team that could get her probation or “off”. She has lived her life getting everything she wanted, there is a difference between want and need, she does not know that difference. Don’t you think her girls are better off without her, the last thing America needs is four more Teresas that don’t care about right and wrong.

She better start practicing going to jail so it is not so much of a shock.

Tre says she didn’t know the plea deal would give her time in prison yet knew what would happen if they didn’t plead. .. Could get 10 yrs for just one count. That tells me she knew good & well what the plea deal was, she just thought stupidly that she was immune to prison time. These two still show no remorse in my opinion….Tre looked like she aged 10 yrs in a day.

I’m trying to sit through this this morning. Very very hard to do. She’s so drugged yet so delusional in her denial. At least she’s consistent even when drugged, it’s always someone else’s fault: the lawyer for not fighting hard enough after the plea deal, the bank for having her sign stuff she doesn’t understand etc. I guess we have to give credit for her saying what she did about the purse.

Joe is not going to do Anything for them or with them. He’s a criminal with no drivers license, he’s drunk all the time, and he’s a moron. He gets his disgusting self arrested frequently. He’ll be in all kinds of trouble, even before Tre goes to the joint. Tre’s mother will take on the four dawters, and Milania will kill her dead. I can’t wait to see what happens when Tre can’t get her forehead lasered anymore. Yikes.

Those poor, poor kids. Gia has the brains God didn’t see fit to bless her parents with, the two youngest ones are barely spoken about and kind of fade into the woodwork, and Milania is obnoxious beyond belief. Not her fault though. She has a very strong personality, they thought she was cute and didn’t want to put the effort into disciplining her, and she obviously got away with everything from the moment she was born. I’d like to think she’s young enough to be taught manners and appropriate behavior, so let’s hope someone other than Joe has a hand in her upbringing when Teresa is (rightfully) in jail. Joe has never been involved in raising the girls, and I don’t think he’ll be capable. The judge would have done them more of a favor if he had given Joe and Teresa 2 weeks to get things prepared, and remanded them both to serve their sentences concurrently, then family could have stepped in. Leaving Joe in charge for a year will be a disaster. Does anyone think he’ll handle the stress of such responsibility without temper tantrums and turning to the bottle? He has mean, piggy little eyes, feels he’s been terribly put upon with having to “parent”, and never spent much time at home before he was under scrutiny prior to sentencing. Now Teresa’s saying on national TV that she wants him with the girls “all the time”? Fat chance. He’s going to feel trapped, in fact, I think he already does. Watch him fall apart, need to go to rehab, and use that as an excuse to try and get Teresa’s sentence shortened for ‘compassionate’ reasons. Sleazy, horrible man. Has Teresa forgotten he called her a c**nt within full hearing of microphones? Oh, I forgot, she never really got upset about that because he’s a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man. God help them. They’re the most screwed up people ever seen on ‘reality’ TV. I’d blame I on reality tv, but their bad behavior goes back a long, long time.

I believe Teresa when she claims she didn’t understand what she was signing. I think she just told Joe to go find her some more money and he did. She didn’t care where it came from. That is totally her fault. From episode one we watched her lick her thumb and count off stacks of hundred dollar bills to pay for rooms full of tacky bordello style furniture. That is totally her fault. She was filmed taking her girls shopping at expensive boutiques and letting them pile the counters full with anything they wanted while paying with piles of stolen cash. That is totally her fault. We watcher her trotting around Venice looking for “Chanels”! She finally bought a gaudy merano glass ring because she’s addicted to spending. That is totally her fault! Now, it’s time to pay the piper and her children will be the victims of her greed, cheating, stealing and lies. That is totally her fault.

Excellent recap TT! I was feeling your extemporaneous thoughts too – a moment here and there, I was honestly sad for both Teresa and Joe at different times during the interview. I was impressed that Andy played hardball, and impressed the Guidices agreed to the hard questions.
Then, I was left scratching my head. Was Teresa a completely different person, was she just now a great actress, or as some people think, on medication with just a dopey affect? Was Joe the most vulnerable he’s ever shown on any episode or interview?
Or what a great mini-production by Bravo, Andy and the Guidices. Guess we’ll never really know.
No matter really, it’s all said and done and they are both going away, at different times, but will be apart for almost 6 years or more. For some reason I doubt they’ll deport Joe, by imposing sentences of more than a year on both of them & staggered, the government made its point and likely believes it got its pound of flesh.
I wish the best for the little girls though. They’re affected now, but will be for the rest of their livesl

When my 4 year old niece is bad and gets a timeout, if you ask her why she’s in timeout, through her tears and hiccups she will say it’s because “you’re mean!”. It’s like Teresa’s parents must have just thrown up their hands and left it at that, instead of talking it through with her, explaining what she did to land herself in timeout (or whatever) and get her to be able to say “I’m in timeout because I didn’t listen”.

Most people would expect that Teresa would take her prison time to reflect on what she has done wrong and work toward being a better person and parent. That’s what she says she is going to do. Yeah right. Don’t believe it for a second. She still is not taking any responsibility for her wrongdoing after a decade and being sentenced. She’ll come out of prison even more determined to become rich and famous (actually infamous) again because she feels she has been treated unfairly. Many criminals learn to be more criminal in prison. Look at Apollo. I wish Teresa would benefit from her stint and “GET IT” and become the mom those four little girls really need. Just don’t see it happening.

Awesome recap! If I were the judge, I would be regretting not giving them both more time and looking into how to haul their asses back into court.

I so wish, when Teresa said she didn’t spend money she didn’t have, Andy would have said something like “oh so you DIDN’T actually try to file for bankruptcy then?”

I feel so late to the party here…anyways, Joe showed the most emotion I’ve ever seen him display last night. He’s not a neanderthal after all.
P.S. My heart breaks for Gia. She is wise beyond her years. I hope she can get through what no child should have to endure at her age. We’re proud of you, Gia!!

TT the judge does not decide what prison Teresa will go to the BOP decides that. The judge can make a reccommendation to the BOP but again the BOP decides…also I really think Joe will be deported. Bye Juicy

Um duh? I’ve said that several times. No idea what the point of the comment was. And the judge does NOT even recommend a prison. Tre will fill out paperwork where she can list a few preferences, but the BOP is under no requirement to accommodate her. They didn’t give Martha Stewart any of her choices.

TT I was responding to someone whomever was calculating the distance to Danbury being an hour and a half drive….my point was she could be sent anywhere in the U.S., and to clarify the JUDGE CAN make a recccommendation if he/she wanted…let’s say the convicted person needs medical treatment…just as an example…and that WOULD weigh heavily into placement decisions, but since the judge her did no such thing.. the point is moot…right ..?? so no worries…..
Lastly of course the BOP didn’t “give” Martha Stewart anything as I recall only by faint memory didn’t Martha take ’em to trial?? So they were gonna win and stick it to her…the BOP accommodate anyone…cracks me up…in my jersey voice”forget about it”…

        Peace and Blessings

I am in total agreement with Vinnie Politan’s comment at 11Alive that the judge may see Teresa’s interview and decide to withdraw her plea agreement. Teresa is not the first mother to go to jail, so enough with the “my kids are everything and I don’t know anything” tour. If they loved their children more than themselves, they would have protected their girls by explaining to them what is happening and kept them home last Thursday and Friday. Joe and Tre should pay for all of the girls to have therapy after living through this travesty for the last five years. I want Bravo to show season 2 of the RHONJ when Danielle Staub made claims at the country club about Teresa having champagne taste on a beer budget, and Teresa responded by saying, “I live in a million dollar mansion now.” Teresa wants us to believe most of her pricey clothes have been given to her by the designers or are a part of product placement on the show. That dog does not hunt in these woods because most high end retailers/designers do not want their brand to be associated with nefarious public figures. Man up, STFU, and do your time like the other inmates. Maybe Tre and Phaedra could write an advice book that teaches us how to keep your family together while your huzzband does time in the big house. IJS

Wait, you get up in time to watch Vinnie? And he said that?

Check this out… Politan, the brother of a corporate attorney and son of federal judge Nicholas H. Politan, was a prosecutor in Bergen County, New Jersey , before going into journalism.[7] Following his time as prosecutor, Politan worked in the private legal sector, including at the Carella-Byrne law firm in New Jersey. Politan’s final employment as an attorney was as in-house counsel for the supermarket chain Grand Union .

      Interesting.

Ms. TT-Yes, I watch Vinnie in the morning when I can. I apologize in advance because I could not get a screen shot of this comment from Vinnie’s twitter page to send to you, but this is what he posted on twitter on Monday, October 6 at 6:33 p.m.:

        Vinnie PolitanVerified account ‏@VinniePolitan
Be careful #TeresaGiudice … Keep saying u didn’t understand what happened in court and you’ll lose your plea bargain! #atlantaalive

He made comments on his facebok page as well. The background information you provided about Vinnie is very impressive, and I would have loved for him to have interviewed Tre and Joe on HLN after the trial. Now that would have been must see tv! I am interested in the facts and the truth, which is what I have found at your blog since April 2012. I also check other credible local sources, so when Vinnie makes a public comment like that, I believe him. His pedigree shows he knows what he is talking about, and he read my mind with that comment. Only time will tell if the judge will reconsider the plea agreement and throw the book at the Giudices. Fingers crossed, miracles still happen.

Sidebar: Twin Peaks is coming back and maybe you can recap that too. Have a great Wednesday 😀

I have never in my life seen a woman more checked “out” than Theresa.. I was cringing watching her… a complete idiot would have answered Andy’s questions with more intelligence.. and to insult the audience with her “i don’t know anything act? for real? Entertainment tonight showed that clip and the commentators stated they didn’t feel badly at all after watching the interview and basically couldn’t comprehend her “I know nothing” attitude… the lies these two CONTINUED to spew is beyond insulting… I felt badly for her kids.. but man.. she deserves prison and to think she still spouts “I have a great husband” B.S. what the heck? He just threw you in a slammer! MY GOD.. ITS SO LAUGHABLE … AND SAD!!

Teresa is in total shock and disbelief. Teresa never really thought she was was going to prison. She was obligated to do the interview to get her final money. Now, she has to get things in order.

On one hand Tre claims she did NOT understand the plea deal & assumed even though she’d pled guilty the attorneys would ‘continue to fight for her’. What a crock of BS. All you have to do is wait a few more minutes before you hear her explain to Andy the EXACT reason WHY they accepted plea deals..if they’d gone to trial, and had been found GUILTY ON JUST ONE COUNT, they would’ve faced 10years in prison. Hmmm….sounds like Tre had a pretty good handle on the ins and outs of accepting a plea deal. She’s a street wise con artist.
