WWHL With Caroline Manzo

WWHL with Caroline

I’m hoping this was taped after Teresa’s sentencing. I hate how this “Live” show is never live. I haven’t watched SNL since the 1980s and so I have no idea who the other guest is. Or the bartender so let’s pretend like they aren’t there.

Andy asks Caroline what she thought of the boys calling her the red angry bird. Caroline says she’s really not that familiar with Angry Birds. Andy tells her she does sort of look like the red bird. Caroline pretends to be hurt. Andy says it’s a compliment. Then Andy brought up a frankenbite from tonights RHONJ where Dina says she is “the Caroline of the trip.” I don’t believe Dina said that for a minute. I think they could have pulled that bite from her previous seasons. Caroline says she’s not sure if she mean she was boring or a bitch, but she is happy with Caroline.

Oh I know who that chick from SNL is not that they played a montage.

Manzod boobs

Andy brings up the sentencing. Caroline says she is blow away by the whole thing. It’s so much bigger than housewives. It’s so life changing for that family and those kids. Andy says when RHONJ first started, there was a group meeting with production and all the cast of the show and Joe Giudice asked in that meeting, “Has anyone ever been indicted as a result of going on the show?” Wow. Um red flag perhaps, Bravo? He asks Caroline if at that point she thinks that meant there was something in his past? Caroline just says for the sake of the girls she hopes ever keeps their opinions to themselves on social media. I assume she means the cast.  Because this is not going to be left off social media, they are talking about it right now on TV!

Andy brings up the prediction that Caroline made about Teresa. She said that something may happen where someone has to go somewhere (implying Juicy would be in jail) and Teresa will divorce him. He asks if she stands by that prediction. Caroline says she is going to keep her feelings to herself. This is not the time to discuss such matters. This is not a time to laugh or gloat or say I told you so. Caroline says bad this is sad, this is not funny.

Caroline was asked what work she has had done. Caroline said if she had work done she would look better than this. She has lost some weight and she is happy and at peace. Caroline says the Bravo photos are heavily airbrushed. Yes they are. Especially the ones for The Shahs of Sunset.

They play a clip from Teresa and Joes interview tomorrow night. Teresa said at one point in court her hands froze up and she could not open or close her hands. Joe says he did not think Tre would get time he cries. As of the filming, which was on Friday, they had not told the three younger girls anything. I could make a case for not telling them  until January, but sadly they will find out at school if they don’t tell them. I can see Milania decking a kid who comes up to her and tells her mommy and daddy are both going to jail.

Someone calls in to ask Caroline when the kids will support themselves. Caroline says they all do. They all have their own businesses. Plus what she can’t say, they are all getting paid very well for doing the show. Plus they were all getting paid for RHONJ. These kids are not poor. She also can’t say that they don’t really all live at home, that is just for filming. I do think Lauren lives at home now though until after the wedding. What Caroline does say is that is the biggest misconception that her kids don’t work.

Caroline says she loves watching RHONJ, and her feeling is better you than me. Someone calls in and asks if she still shaves her face. She does. She says it is great exfoliation. She literally shaves her entire face. Her skin looks great, I must say. The play a game called Is it heavier than Caroline’s boobs? It was dumb.

And that’s it. There was no poll question.

I wasn’t planning on watching the show, but it just sort of snuk (sp?) up on me during RHONJ (I thought it was a commercial break). But… I really, really liked it. I forgot how funny her kids and Greg are, I love their banter. The show fills a void I’ve been feeling with the new season of RHONJ. It kind of felt like seeing an old friend. I will continue to watch!!

I agree. It’s nice to have light fare to watch compared to pending news about a Federal trial and pursuant prison sentences and hpw it will impact innocent children, then an aging “mob princes”, as she once called herself, spreading salacious gossip for some camera time, and a hateful and vengeful self-important punk husband creating conflict and ill will through repeating that rumor and making claims which are intended to create conflict and division.

There is a DRASTIC positive difference through introduction of the Manzo show, and I for one appreciate it.

Gotcha. Since you asked, it evidently is an improvised spelling from the language from which the term originated …”Origin: 1495–1505; akin to Middle Dutch fokken to thrust, copulate with, Swedish dialect focka to copulate with, strike, push, fock penis” (Dictionary dot com)

She supposedly said it. Bravo is know for frankenbiting where they splice things in they did not say. When the do that they do not show the speaker talking. I am just guessing, but I have a feeling they took that from something Dina said on her previous season. Or all they really need is her saying “Caroline” from that season if she said something like “I am the partypooper of this trip” all they would do is edit out party pooper and edit in Caroline. Dina has been pretty adamant about not saying anything about Caroline at all. It’s the sort of devious thing Bravo would do.

While I love the show, I HATE how Bravo and some of the major networks do this crap. I could not tape Madam Secretary tonight because the forced The Good Wife onto it in the same way Bravo did. I like the Good Wife but that slot is already taken by Anthony Bourdain. And NO SHOW IN THE WORLD will take priority over my imaginary husband, Tony.

It counts towards both shows ratings. It’s done with a new show after a popular show so that the new show gets credit for the popular shows ratings. It’s disgraceful.

I know. They are really shooting themselves in the foot. I don’t think I even have a series recording set up for it because of the two hour block thing.

Same with Madam Secretary and Good Wife. I’d try to DVR those if I had room. These two show are also screwed by football on the station immediately proceeding.

I’ll never understand the need to put EVERYTHING against each other on Sunday night.

Little shady? I’m think Joe knew his skeletons would come out but all Tre could see was the “fame”. I also didn’t like what Tre said to Andy in the promo when he asked what they said to the girls. She said that haven’t told them yet. What are they waiting on, for the girls to find out from their friends?

The comment about not telling the younger girls made me think of a story Victoria Gotti told about finding out her dad was in prison when she was young (looked to be 2nd or 3rd grade). Her class had to write a report about who they look up to – most kids picked their dad and she did too. When she said her dad was in construction, a kid yelled out “no, her dad’s in jail!” Mrs. Gotti had been lying about it saying he was there building the prison but she realized the kid was right at that moment, and she was so upset she peed on the floor in front of the class, and her teacher made her clean it up while the class watched. This broke my heart and obviously made a huge mark on her, I really hope Teresa comes clean with them soon and the poor Giudice girls are spared this kind of cruelty. I agree I can see Milania going all Tasmanian Devil on a kid…

When NJ housewives was in pre-production, the show was suppose to have a Soprano flavor to it. You know the Tiny Manzo story but for whatever reason it changed direction. I’ve heard rumors why. So at that meeting I bet Andy was grinning ear to ear, knowing darn well shady dealings was going on in the construction business. And Andy didn’t anticipate the Tre huggers either. Caroline was a class act last night on Andy.

It must have been during one of Andy’s sessions of grilling the Giudice’s in the past that he mentioned then about Joe asking telling questions regarding indictment. I know I heard this before. So much confirmation of their stupidity is astounding.

I bet Caroline passing on the opportunity to say “I told you so” was hard for her. It was obviously a planned decision to take that stance. While gracious of her, I think it would not have been received well by some potential viewers of her own show if she had taken the low road.

I expected nothing less than a class act on WWHL . She is a true reflection of a NJ Housewife. While the Guidices broke the law and will be going to jail its just not something to gloat and take delite in like Kim G and Danielle Staub seem to be. Its a damn shame for the kids who will be the ones to suffer. Teresa seems to me to realize they screwed up big time and yeah its too late now to make it right. At least she can find comfort in the judge letting them serve seperatley to take care of the kids. Some people have to fall really hard to realize what really matters in life and it sure aint material things.
