“When life throws rocks, I melt them down into diamonds” Is possibly the worst tagline ever. Janet and Chyka go on a high-end shopping trip with a personal shopper. Janet still want Gina to apologize. For something. Maybe calling them cunts?
Gina is going to see an elite matchmaker to find her a man. Did Gina just say she has children? Were we supposed to know this already. She has an interesting list of attributes that turn her off, men with saliva problems (gross when eating) and men whose thumbs stick out(indicates they are stupid).
Lydia is fascinated that her housekeeper can peel vegetables with a knife. Lydia is impressed by her skills in picking out her dresses and pretty much making all the decisions for her.
Jackie and Chyka meet to talk about Jackie’s imaginary cocktail line. Well what do you know, it is a thing after all.
OMG Chyka rents the coolest limo ever. The doors open upward and the interior has pink leather accents. Sadly, he good ideas end there as the plan is to take Lydia, Andrea and Gina shopping together to try to make peace. Why on earth would Gina agree to this? They are shopping at a West Elm which has not officially opened to the public yet. Gina invites Chyka and Lydia (???) to a cancer charity event she is having and one of them asks her if she is inviting Andrea and she said the last time she shared with Andrea about her cancer experience she was quite ugly so she is not sure if she wants to invite her. Lydia runs straight to Andrea and tells her that Gina said she wasn’t going to invite Andrea because she is not sure she could behave appropriately at the function. Which is not what Gina said, but also true.
Andrea decides immediately that she is having a spa day for all the girls except Gina. So high school.
Janet and Jackie interrupt Ben who is working in the studio. They talk and distract the guys with inane conversation. Gina calls to invite Jackie to her cancer function.
It’s time for Chyka’s dog party, or pooch party as they call it. Chyka’s house is gorgeous. Gina is the last to arrive. Why do these people have to wait for her? There are puppies and drinks just enjoy the party and let Gina get there when she gets there. The dog party was cute and no bitches of any species were bitten.
Jackie and Ben are planing a launch party but they still have no product. This is just like Sheree’s fashion line party with no fashions!
Gina has her first date. He is very attractive and seems normal. They were very laid back together. No uncomfortable silences. It looked like a fun date.
Lydia and Jackie and Andrea go together to an event. Janet will also be there. In the limo, Lydia says that Gina called her to tell her that Janet called Lydia brainless. This doesn’t seem like something Gina would do. I can’t see her calling Lydia period. Plus it’s quite obvious to everyone that Lydia is brainless. Only Lydia seems to be unaware of that fact. Lydia confronts Janet who denies saying she was brainless, she says she just said that she wasn’t very bright! LOL Like that helps her situation . Then production rolls the clip of Janet saying that Lydia is brainless. Why can’t any of these women own what they say? Okay Janet is sort of owning up to it. So now the four of them can talk about Gina again.
Gina and Janet get together for a drink and Janet tells Gina she needs to apologize to the other girls. The email controversy comes up again. The idiots do not understand why they were copied on the damn email and they think they are being sued. Janet is adamant that the way the girls acted at Mission Beach was warranted. Gina says that is the end of the friendship. I don’t blame her a bit.
Next week: The attacks on Gina continue. This is getting really boring. I hate when the entire storyline is ostracize one woman and treat her like shit.
I think it was the first episode when we saw Gina preparing food for two young guys. Were they her sons?
Yep she has two boys I believe.
I absolutely CANNOT stand Andrea. Oh my she makes my blood boil, she thinks way too highly of herself and is obviously extremely jealous of Gina. Whom I LOVE…
Agree 100%
BINGO!!!! U can add Lydia to that list as well!!! Theyre both shitstarters!!! And neither r the brightest lights on the porch!!! You-fcking-che my friend!!!
BTW thank you TT for recapping RHOM, I love this show and it seems like no one else is recapping them…
Thanks TT for recapping this show .
Thanks for reading!

The La Mascara line is such a joke. The website claims they are doing a model search in October, November and you must be willing to be filmed for season 2. At least that means they are filming season 2 now which makes me happy.
I’d think that someone in production probably let it slip to Lydia what Janet called her. Gina randomly calling Lydia is a bit weird but also in housewife world possible.
Yeah production probably told her to do it or pretend that she had made the call.

I love Gina, but I think she waffles/lies a bit when confronted about things she says. She did seem baffled by the “Lydia is brainless” thing, though. I call producer shenanigans. I can’t see Gina calling Lydia for any reason beside inviting her to a HW filmed event. Lydia is one of dumbest people I’ve ever seen in reality television, and I used to watch Flavor of Love. Her scenes are train wreck awful: her arrogance, her entitlement then dumbassedness on a major scale. The scene where Lydia was open mouthed at her housekeeper’s ability to cut up carrots without a peeler? *crickets* Damn. No words for that shit.
In her situation (where all the women are ganging up on you, and even production appears to be against you) I don’t really blame her for waffling a bit and trying to fib to get out of trouble. I do wish though that she just owned the ‘cuntgate’ and told all the women calmly at the table that she called them all cunts and wishes them a good day and returned back to her real job. Would have been epic.
yeah, I really wanted Gina to say at the table something like, “Seriously? You are a bunch of cunts. How is this news to you?”

Amen. I think her professional training influences Gina to be very guarded when confronted, I admire and cringe at the same time when she doesn’t own up to “Cunt-gate”. I really like her, Gina is very complex, thoughtful and allows some of her vulnerability to shine through, in regards to her Partner. She seems a little broken, lonely, and bewildered by their breakup but I like her moxie to try again. The whole show could be Gina trying on clothes, putting on make up and talking about her life in a thoughtful manner, and it would be fine with me. Gina’s scenes remind me of Dorian Corey in “Paris is Burning”. (RIP Queen Dorian). With the exception of Chyka, those other broads are useless.
Yeah I think the date was just for television myself. They are both still together last I heard in real life so if anything they just went on a break.

I think that some viewers would have done the slow clap in honor of that scene.
Andrea is a clueless woman on this show and she doesn’t seem to get it.
Andrea keeps referring to some other woman that called into question her lack of parenting skills. It’s clear (to me at least) that what that woman said hit a nerve and she has somehow transferred all that anger and hate onto Gina.
LOL! Undine. I have missed your comments. 🙂

Thanks. Love you TT! I be lurking and reading everything though. I read all the Big Brother posts even though I couldn’t hang with the show. Your writing is way more entertaining than the actual show. Your Phaedra/RHOA tea is amazing, I tell my friends your scoops and they think I’m a genius. I’m like, ya’ll need to go read Tamara Tattles. Lol.
I think she is still with the same Pahtnah. I just think he didn’t want it to be on TV so the dating thing is fake. I obviously have no source for that. I just think they agreed not to discuss him and when in the beginning she alluded to him, things went sideways which was the whole reason for THE EMAIL.

That Lydia scene reminded me of when Lisa was cooking with Adrianne, and Addrienne (one of the spellings is hopefully correct) washed the chicken with hand soap. How can they not cook even basic meals? I have money to afford ‘help’ but can’t stand having people in my home for extended periods of time. It’s my space and I like to cook and clean it myself.
OMG I could NOT stop laughing when Lydia confronts Janet about calling her brainless, who, with a completely straight face says “oh no, that’s not what I said – what I said was that you aren’t very bright!” HAHAHAHA if only everyone would be so to-the-point!!
Well I try to be… but it does piss people off. 🙂
