Here is the rundown on who will be on Below Deck Season 2. We have a brother/sister deal this season! Also, on a preview, Adrienne makes an appearance! YAY!
Lee Rosbach, Captain- Born and raised in Saginaw Michigan, Harold Lee Rosbach is the second of seven children. While Rosbach has been in the industry for over 20 years, he started yachting a little later in life than your average “yachtie.” At the age of 35, Rosbach took the time to get his Captain’s license and left the restaurant management business to pursue his newfound passion for the seas. Having worked both private and charter, Captain Lee prefers charter as he feels the joy he gets in seeing his guests’ expressions as they view the beautiful scenery is priceless and not something he can get in an office setting.
Kate Chastain, Chief Stewardess – Kate Chastain, 31, comes from Melbourne Beach, a charming small town on the Space Coast of Florida. While working her way through college at high end dining establishments and lounges, Kate discovered her natural talent and passion for providing excellent service and ultimately anticipating her guest’s needs. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida, Kate moved to Ft. Lauderdale to find a job as a mega yacht stewardess. During her seven year yachting career, she has enjoyed cruising through the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Central America and New England as well as an Atlantic crossing.
Andrew Sturby, Deckhand – Andrew Sturby, 26, was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada before moving to Nassau, Bahamas in his early teens. He attended a university-preparatory school in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada where Andrew excelled in football and crew. Immediately after high school, he became a working, traveling international model for high fashion and commercial brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, West Coast, and Roots Canada. He has enjoyed living in the Bahamas, Italy, France, the Phillipines and Canada as a well-traveled individual. Andrew currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida and is close with his parents and older brother. Living in the sunshine state, he renewed his love for the ocean ultimately finding himself seeking out work as a deckhand in the yachting industry.
Kelley Johnson, Deckhand – Kelley Johnson, 27, was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, with his older sister and fellow cast member, Amy. His love for the water became apparent even as a toddler, when his mom discovered TV fishing shows were the quickest way to calm him down. Kelley’s brave and courageous spirit led him to join the Marine Corps as the tension in the Middle East was at its height. He was part of the operation that helped rescue Captain Phillips, and was selected with a small group to monitor and escort the Somali Pirate and turn him over to officials in Djibouti. After leaving the Marines, Kelley moved to Florida to be near his sister and close to the ocean. A romantic at heart, he left his first job on a yacht to pursue a land-based relationship and went to work in the corporate world. After the relationship failed, feeling unsatisfied with his job, and a push from his sister, Kelley gladly left his desk job to rejoin the yachting industry. Getting to live and work on the water while being able to fish in his free time is the ideal life for this Texas native.
Jennice Ontiveros, Deckhand – Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jennice Ontiveros, 25, first learned to love the water on Elephant Butte Lake. With a dream to live closer to Hollywood and the beach, she moved to the Los Angeles area at the age of 18 to pursue a B.A. from Whittier College in Business Administration & Theatre and Communications Arts. A job in documentary television brought Ontiveros to Chicago shortly after graduation, but her need for adventure and travel left her feeling unfulfilled. After a bit of research, opportunity and luck, Jennice landed her first Deck/Stew position on Lake Michigan during the summer of 2013. Within a few months in the industry she packed her bags and moved to Fort Lauderdale in search of a bigger and better “yachty” lifestyle.
Ben Robinson, Chef – Chef Ben Robinson, 33, is accomplished both on land and sea. He worked under Italian master chefs in Florence and gained an apprenticeship at 3-Michelin Star restaurant “The Fat Duck,” based in the United Kingdom. Robinson has been the head chef on yachts for over 10 years, including the largest sailing yacht in the world. He was born in Oxford, England and continued to attend boarding school there when his parents moved to the US and currently resides Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Robinson has recently become a Certified Health Coach and he specializes in weight loss, cancer and addiction. Ben believes food is medicine and art, continuing to develop cutting edge cuisine with a nutritional awareness.
Eddie Lucas, Bosun – Eddie Lucas, 29, was raised on the east coast attending boarding schools and exploring recreational diversions on the Chesapeake and Buzzards Bays. Early on he learned to ski, fish and took advantage of any offered outdoor educational opportunities including earning a degree in Adventure Education from Green Mountain College, becoming proficient in rafting, rock climbing and scuba diving. After surviving a car accident five years ago, Eddie learned to live life to the fullest and to appreciate everything he has.
Kat Held, Steward — Over the top and free spirited, this 29 year old has been traveling as a yacht stewardess for the past five years. Kat began a career in yachting after a summer of recreation sailing in her home state of Rhode Island. Shortly after graduating from The University of Rhode Island, she gained an interest in discovering more of what the outside world has to offer. Tired of watching mega yachts sail in and out of Newport Harbor without her, she purchased a book on how to become a yacht stewardess. Following the tips of the book led her to finding her first job as a yacht stewardess in Miami, Florida. Kat is always looking for a new adventure and believes freedom is one of the most rewarding feelings in life.
Amy Johnson, Steward — Amy Johnson, 31, a southern belle known for her spirited attitude and enthusiastic personality, grew up in the small town of Wichita Falls, Texas. She was raised in a loving, conservative home, with her brother and fellow cast member, Kelley, who is her best friend and confidant. Amy graduated from Texas A&M with a business degree in Marketing and was recruited to the nation’s top selling Cadillac dealership as a sales representative, where she remained for several years. Realizing she was lacking two things she loved most, travel and adventure, she moved down to Florida to enter the yachting industry. Amy’s impeccable work ethic, positive approach and adaptable personality allow her to have that “glass half full” mentality.
Thank you Tamra! Great cast info! I didn’t even know this show was coming back, but loved last seasons!
So sorry *Tamara*
So glad to see this great show returning!
Tamara, the girl you liked so much, is coming back. Although not full time. Did you see the trailer? She comes back and is in a scene where she is hugging Kat, and then in another scene fighting with Kat.
Yep. She posts here. But sometimes things don’t work out. SHE WAS OUT and yet she is on the show… Think of the RHOA repercussions of that!

I grew to like her. Adrienne is her name, I forgot it for a moment. Glad we will still get to see her. She was always a professional.
I also liked Adrienne and happy as h#ll Sam is not coming back. Love Ben…
ScrappieOne i agree with you 100% about Sam not returning. I have great respect for AG for keeping her composure! AG is too classy to lower herself to Sam’s level. Would have been awesome to see someone knock Sam flat on her ass!
Super happy Captin Lee is back! i bet he wont trust Kat that readily, now that he knows she lied to his face last season.
Me too. She always had that snotty smirk on her face and thought she could do no wrong. I LOVE this show and am so glad it’s coming back !!!
I’m glad Ben and Capt Lee are back! Ben provided a lot of comic relief as well as the being the occasional voice of reason IMO. Can’t wait for this to start back up..
I, too, am happy to see that Ben will be returning !! He is an easy-going bloke, so funny, so sweet and a fabulous, talented and inventive Chef!
Did I read correctly that Alex won’t be back ? It’s not surprising due to the fact that he didn’t like or even respect Captain Lee. I thought Alex (or is it “Aleks” ?) was way out of line in his lack of respect towards Captain Lee !
I lived near Melbourne Beach. There’s nothing charming about it.
How did I not know Captain Lee is from the same place hubby and I are from??? Off to Facebook to see how many people I know know him. Saginaw’s not that big… Excited to see the show back
Does Captain Lee get laid in season 2?
Captain Lee is married you whore!
I made it thru about half of the Season 2 preview Sunday night, and I can definitely confirm that this show’s title is actually quite appropriate. Below Deck is literally the septic tank of TV programming.
The program has very little to do with working on a yacht. Really all about the “crew” fighting, partying, and having sex. In fact, what the previous poster said about Captain Lee getting laid isn’t really that much of a stretch, given the hideous subject matter.
At this point, I would almost expect to see more attention given to a situation such as Chef Ben pursuing one of the deck hands, instead of cooking and preparing meals.
Even the guests on each cruise (some of whom are celebrities), are considered secondary to Kat’s crying in her quarters about a hangover.
Really, if they could show full nudity and get away with it, game on.
You can almost feel that gutter scraping kind of desperation at gaining viewership.
Bravo’s agenda seems to go by the following formula:
1. Assemble a group of good looking people.Talent, locations, and circumstances are unimportant.
2. Assign a camera crew to capture what transpires.
3. Promote a reunion show at the end of each season to re-live the mindless activities of the cast.
This channel’s “reality” shows are actually carefully scripted by their executives to patronize what they believe their viewership wants to see, i.e., ridiculous amounts of conflict over petty issues, sexual situations, and a complete deviation from the title of said show.
In point of fact, Bravo’s housewives franchise, once the bread and butter for the network, is now in the ratings crapper. Sure hope Andy Cohen and company can come up with something better in the future.
At least some quality shows where you feel like you haven’t lost brain cells after watching them. Seriously, Below Deck makes Kate Gosselin look like a Shakespearean trained thespian.
So, you are saying Bravo reality shows aren’t really real and pander to the lowest common denominator? You are certainly astute. For 2010.
Thanks for allowing my thesis. It is my understanding that many miss the cut. 🙂 2010 is generous (thanks again).
I do not disparage the reality show concept in general. My beef with Bravo has more to do with them coasting on auto pilot. Spoon feeding us old Coke in new cans.
Quite frankly, the This Place rehab commercial has more of an intrinsic entertainment value than what is currently being offered by the network.
Hey, I hope Captain Lee does get some, good for him. The entire crew, for that matter.
I’m not sure where this Captain Lee getting some is coming from, but he is happily married.
