I’m going to be looking back at my blog for the premiere episode a LOT trying to keep the names straight tonight. I wish I had included everyone’s hair color. I’m so bad at remembering faces.
We start with Juliet. I think she is the sort of obnoxious one. Her kids, however, are precious.
Marissa is working at her restaurant. Juliet shows up for lunch. There is a huge party coming up! The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party, which is actually a big deal and always full of supermodels and fancy people.
Scot and Noelle sit down to discuss the divorce proceedings. The divorce has been postpones again because his wife is out of funds again. They are paying millions to the lawyers. The wife says Scot is hiding all of his assets. Noelle is upset that things are being postponed. Scot is ready to buy a place together. Noelle wants to wait until the divorce is final. Scot wins the debate and they go looking for a place to live. It’s $6.700 a month. And it’s awful. And it smells like old people. Somehow, Scot and Noelle were not invited to the Serpentine event.

Caprice says every time she gets a scan of her baby, he has his hands over his face. The couple has some sort of listening device to listen to the baby’s heartbeat and kicks. Caprice hired a US surrogate because he doctors said she could no carry a baby and then got pregnant so she is having two babies! The surrogate baby will be coming while she is eight months pregnant. This makes that tabloids in England. Caprice has decided to sell her story to The Sun rather than let the tabloids make stuff up.
Caroline has a slew of kids and breakfast before school is a zoo even with a driver and a housekeeper. Caroline’s husband is going on a business trip and will miss the Serpentine event. Drats! Caroline sees the cover of the tabloids about Caprice’s babies. There is a lot of backlash from the other women. They seem to be looking down on her for selling the story to the press. Personally, I think she did the right thing by taking control of the way the story was told.
Lots of shots of everyone getting their hair and makeup done for the party. Noelle and Scot still don’t have tickets. They go to Marissa’s pre party and Marissa tried to get them tickets but she could not. I think Caroline probably has a spare ticket since her husband can’t go anymore. Yes, she does have one ticket.
Caprice arrives in the bug dress. Caroline is visibly disgusted. Caroline seems a bit jealous of Caprice’s fame.
Good Lord, even on the London show, someone always have to say, “at the end of the day.” Everyone except Scot heads off to the party. By the way, this party is a big ass deal in London. Sarah Jessica Party was there and it was hosted by L’Wren Scott. It seems kind of like the British version of the Met Ball. It’s totally a star-studded event. Caroline’s dress is pretty hideous.
Next Week there is a bit of bickering.
I still really love this show. I must say, my lovely British readers here make me a bit nervous. Please correct my misunderstandings with kindness and throw in lots of explanations! :
im liking the show so far, as a fellow brit i think the show got it right about how our press is more vicious than in the US, however i would in no way before this show ever associated caprice with high society, she was always more of a d-list celebrity who most remembered from celebrity big brother years ago, i am however liking her so far on this! great recap TT
I actually liked Caroline a lot better this week. Man, she has a nice world to live in. Sigh. This is what I watch this shit for though. Anyway, she seemed a lot more human this week, not so cold(ish) and distant. I love her make-up guy, he’s really cute and does a fabulous job. I thought her dress was fabulous too and she wore it very well. So far, I like her the best.
I thought Caprice was right in how she handled the media with her two pregnancies (that sounds weird). It was hardly something she could keep under wraps, so I thought it was good that she got HER story out. Her dress was terrible. Truly terrible. She was wearing huge green beetles on her seven month pregnant belly. Jesus.
I’m liking Caroline a lot more this week too. I figured she would end up being my fav despite the attitude last week. Caprice’s bug dress wAs dreadful, but judging by the way her house was decorated , I wasn’t expecting much really. I LOVED Annabelle’s dress, she has the cool , IDGAF, chic look down pat.
The criticisms of Caprice was wholly unfounded. As an Australian and a Brit (dual citizenship baby) I am of the understanding that the British royal family foster a positive relationship with the British media by allowing access to stories similar to the one Caprice shared. They like to control how the story, good or bad, is presented so they release the story through selected outlets before rumors can impact their reputation.
Just look at all the divorce interviews they have done over the years.
Is that the L’Wen Scott that just committed suicide, girlfriend to Mick Jagger? I haven’t watched this one yet.
Yes, this was filmed last summer on June 26th, She died in March of this year.

I tried to watch this once again. I just can’t remember who is who. It’s like a need to print a cheat sheet. It is probably only me but I am not feeling this show and I was really hoping I would.
If you print out my first blog it’s a decent cheat sheet. It was what I was using but I didn’t put hair color for everyone. I think we will like it better as we get to know everyone.

No, it’s not just you. I can’t stand this mess of a show. The women are vapid and useless. I will not watch it again.
Thank you for recapping this show. I am starting to like it more each week!
I totally agree with MYINFO; tried watching (fell asleep). Can’t tell who’s who which can only mean their boring! They’re all blonde, skinny, w/similar facial features except the dark headed one (I think she smokes). No one stands out enough for me to remember their names; nothing significant here or worth remembering nor watching. I’m OUT!
It’s tea time! My favorite part about this show is getting a glimpse of London in between the dreary, boring dialog. My least favorite impersonating Brit this week was definately Noelle. She couldn’t be more transparent if she tried. Her fiance needs to grow some nards and stop looking so stupid on camera. No wonder his ex-wife is squeezing the life out of him. My favorite line from this episode is when Noelle said to him “we do make a fabulous couple though” or maybe it was the other line she said about “deserving so much better” then the $6,700 per/mo house they looked at. Stand clear people, I see a train wreck approaching.
I even agree with Pasco, Noelle is in it for the hidden money pure and simple. And the reason why he looks so foolish is one he really didn’t want to be on the show and two he most likely told her that he has money hidden and so essentially he is afraid of getting her mad and having her say he promised me this when the divorce is settled etc. etc.. I still say that Noelle is or was a UTR escort.
I really enjoy this show. To me, it seems to be how the Real Housewives started out; giving us a glimpse into what lives are like for rich people. I hope it stays on track and doesn’t become like our housewives shows.
Noelle ( the snooty one with the boyfriend going through the divorce) sounds soooo much like Stassi to me. And also acts like her.
I love this show for the scenery and the a glimpse at London society. I don’t usually go for all the fights, but the Annabelle/Juliet argument coming next week looks interesting considering their opposing personalities. The best line this week for me was when Caroline”s husband said something like, “Be careful darling, your diamond shoes are too tight!” Something like that when she was complaining. Thank you for re-capping TT.
Yes! The diamond shoe line! I’m trying to work that into conversation!
I don’t have anything much to say except … I enjoy the show, I haven’t learned the names yet but I’m in.
So far I only like Caprice. She is practical and candid about the fame game. She isn’t pretending to be anything that she is not: she is hustling to make a living and keep her name out there. The rest of these broads are so basic, boring and snotty– you can’t tell one from the other. I will keep watching to catch a glimpse of the lifestyle, but they failed on the casting on this one.
So I just watched this show for the first time and thought it was a little boring. All I kept thinking through the entire show is that in a few days I expect to see on the tabloids, Joanna Krupa saying “that b* from the ladies of London style my face!” Lol! I think her name might be Caprice, not sure. Does anyone else think her overdone face looks like Joanna?
I watched this once and took it off My DVR list. Really didn’t give it a chance. I think I may be suffering from reality tea burn out right about now.
*reality “TV” burn out. So busy reading reality show “tea” its stuck in My brain. 🙂
