Nene Is Counting Her Chickens…

Nene Leakes Design Photos

But all she has at the moment are a couple of eggs in Sears and Kmart. She has been having someone post all sort of pictures on her website the past couple of days.  I thought I would share some of her designs for her new fashion line and get your thoughts before I share mine.

2014 Sketches fo Nene Leakes Story Line

I thought she was doing a plus-sized line, so why are all the sketches of Olive Oyl? Anyway, at some point yesterday she claims to have gotten a fabulous offer on her line. I thought she was already hooked up with Sears and Kmart. Now she is a rich bitch again, and going to the bank (apparently robbing the bank and stepping on the neck of her bank robbing competition. So she posted this. The picture is called “bank photoshoot” on her site. I’m not sure that’s how you spell photoshop.

Nene Leakes Bank Robber

Also, there were a handful of comments(6) most of which referenced that her new haters were never her true fans to start with. I wonder if she works with any gay designers? Thoughts?

Love your blog….. so I have watched a lot of fashion shows and from them I learned that all fashion sketches, plus size or any other, are done like what you have posted because a lot of designers are taught that all models are a size 0. So before these outfits go into production they will be measured for plus size women. Most plus sizes start at a size 12, I know a size 12 isnt plus size but in the modeling world it is.
Also you have to remember that Sears is closing some stores and Kmart is not that far behind in having some stores that may close after they, kmart, have tried to revamp thier image. And no she did not draw these. These are professionally done. Maybe NeNe was in New York for so long because she was doing what Sheree needed to do she was meeting with designers and looking at materials making sure her line was worth selling. And while she was there she was meeting with some of the New York housewives and doesnt Ramona Singer own some kind of fashion house?

ele~ I do not think that Ramona owns a fashion house. If I am not mistaken, her business involves her buying unsold merchandise (mainly clothing) from manufacturers and retailers below wholesale and reselling it at a profit. As bat guano crazy that I think that Ramona is…I have to give her big props for running a successful business on her own and not depending on her louse of a husband. .

If she has anything at all to do with the fashion line and it’s not just her lending her name to someone’s design, then she is in the investment stage now. Not the getting paid stage.

If she is just putting her name on existing designs, then she will be paid a bit up front and the majority of income, if any, will be based on #of pieces sold.

      Most likely.

As for the sketches. My understanding was that Nene was designing a plus line. Not a line that includes plus sizes. If that were the case, the sketches would not be of Olive Oyl. Designers of plus size clothes don’t even consider what they would look like on Olive Oyl because they are not making her size.

Also I just noticed (because I was posting in the week hours this morning) that is a pair of black and tan pants laying on the table. I LOVE THOSE. If she makes them in my size I will MOST DEF by those unless they are polyester. Does polyester even exist anymore? I assume if it does it exists in Kmart and Sears.

to respond to the rest of your post about her possible work with gay designers: i think nene went too far with her “queen/she/her/girl” comments regarding brandon, but i don’t think she is a homophobe. my guess is that she got too used to speaking like that with her gay friends and you can’t be throwing out that kind of language with everyone. we’ll see if this mess ends up blacklisting her in fashion and entertainment. now what tickles me is that kenya is on every outlet possible calling nene anti-gay; yet kenya has called nene, natalie, and some of the other ladies men and has suggested that they were “tucking” their p*nises as if they were trans. and what if they were trans, miss kenya? the hypocrisy of the people on these shows is out of control, but i can’t stop watching! 🙂

ok, you have a point. i honestly can’t name any more of her true gay friends (she seems to keep a small, close-knit crew in general), but it has seemed pretty clear that nene at least associates with a ton of gay folks. in my opinion, certain lingo, turns of phrases, and other behaviors don’t necessarily stay within a particular group. as people move between worlds, they leave behind cultural traces and most times without instructions, if that makes sense. that’s why you have nene clueless and going off about “queens”; non-black people using the n-word because their black friend allows them or they heard it in rap music; brandi generalizing that black people can’t swim; and miley cyrus twerking her little fanny all over the place. instead of wishing for the downfall of someone who has appeared to be a proponent of the gay community even before she landed the tv shows, this might be the perfect opportunity for the most vocal critics to initiate a wider discussion, particularly among us black folks (hope it’s okay that i said that last part).

If the line is for real she will be selling every time the camera is in her face. So watch out, it’s us she want to make a bunch of money off of. I agree that if the clothes are sold out of K mart or Sears the quality will not be there. If Nene has to pay a designer for the ideas for the clothes that will be expensive. So ya’ll think this will actually go through? I guess we will have to wait and see.

They aren’t super trendy (besides the manic mullet dress/top) and can be found in most closets…”leather” jacket, leggings, pencil skirt, fitted blazer giving anyone a waist. Not creative at all or new, but fashionistas on a budget will eat these probably poorly made up. Just as Nene does! Nothing wrong with ballin’ on a budget lol

I would have bought from Nene if she had done a line for her size. As a tall and currently fat person, gaining and losing weight can have me straddling normal sizes and fat sizes. When I cross the line into WOMAN’S sizes the clothes are abysmal. I’m dieting now to get back in a solid 14 with aspirations of a 12. There is a middle area of 12 – 18 that some designer would be VERY WISE to focus on. Some really stylish stuff just in that size range (which is a large percentage of the US population) that didn’t come in a zero or a 24 would tickle us pink.

Lowest rung, valiant attempt, good on her hustle. I’d have been more impressed if she did a big girl line for a big girl store (Lane Bryant, whoever provides for Romans/Woman Within). Another one trick pony, no matter the area. The mullet will be the new old Roz/Rocky.

    Nene is not fashionable.
She now states she is a fashion designer on her twitter page. LOL
It appears she has removed RHOA from her twitter page. Is she leaving the show to become a designer? Is she mad at Bravo? Her Facebook page is full of negative comments.
I am sorry; I can’t get past her nightgown she wore at the Pajama party.

Why all the pictures of smaller women? This is how Nene see’s herself. She doesn’t know she’s plus sized tranny at best hog of a person. She thinks she looks good. Doesn’t everyone know Nene is the best looking, smartest, best actress and don’t forget richest bitch of all! Please someone make it go away. I honestly can’t stand her, never could and never will.

I almost didn’t even allow this message. I find your personal attacks on Nene’s looks offensive. Nene has brought down a huge house of cards around her and done some stupid self-defeating stuff. But attacking her physical appearance is not a good look. It makes it look like you have so little grasp of the situation that you are unable to articulate and opinion on the actual events that are occurring and just want to join in with the adults by trashing someone’s appearance. It’s seriously a bad look.

That Black& Gold pants look similar , to the one Kendall Jenner wore on the run way. For fashion week. Only thing Kendall pants was in Beige& Brown.

Hmmm Bloop guess Nene is not only going to be designing women’s clothing but men’s as well. In one of her tweets she responded to a poster’s question about a tie and vest collection for Greg that it is coming.
