GO TO HELL is the title of this episode, and Queenie has manifested new powers that give her a 2 way ticket straight to Hell and back for a visit with Papa Legba. Are you curious to see the Coven’s visual interpretation of hell? AHS is not known for grand special effects, but judging by the promo it looks like a low budget version of Hell. #WalMart. Queenie is on a hellish journey looking for Marie who is missing after she got a tag team beat down by Delphine & Spalding.
Last week we saw that Delphine has returned to her racist killing ways. Sprinkle that with REVENGE and chop chop because Ryan Murphy says this about Marie, “Basically what she was going to do to Kathy Bates, which she did — Marie cut Delphine into many, many parts and threatened to scatter her around the city — Kathy does that same thing to Marie. Marie is still alive, but her body parts are scattered all over the city, perhaps never to be united again. The question in the next episode: Who can put this very glamorous Humpty Dumpty back together again?”
As the time approaches for the new Supreme to demonstrate the Seven Wonders, more than one of the young witches begins to manifest multiple new powers. Though Fiona is still desperate to identify & destroy the new Supreme, she also wonders if she should just accept her fate and give up & enjoy her final days with the Axeman.
Cordelia also has regained her power of sight and has disturbing visions. She learns of Fiona’s murderous plans, and she confronts the Axeman too. Is Cordelia going to prove that she is indeed her mother’s daughter and do anything to protect the Coven? Does she kill her own mother or does she perish trying? The Axeman looked bloody pissed off in the promo. And more than one person must face the consequences of their actions when multiple acts of bloody vengeance are carried out which may bring the rise of the new Supreme.
Queenie confronts Delphine, who has a found a new sense of ghoulish purpose. Zoe & Kyle return from their trip to Epcot, and Zoe wants to be the Supreme. #OhGawd I hope it’s not her. And what about Misty who is entombed alive in that crypt? Air must be running out by now, but we do see Queenie open up a coffin in the promo, and I know it’s NOT Nan. #SadFace
In episode 9 we saw Delphine’s HEAD crying when Hank was shooting up the salon, and I didn’t think she was crying about any racial enlightment. And I was RIGHT. By the end of the finale we will learn the REAL reason why Delphine was crying. This psycho-bitch is unredeemable. What do you all think?
American Horror Story:Coven airs on Wednesday at 10 pm EST on FX. This is the penultimate episode leading up to the end when we find out “Who is the Supreme?” Though it looks like a good episode, I’m feeling Supreme fatigue at this point. So can we just honor Tamara as the head witch in charge and declare her the Supreme? #BowDownWitches. Let’s start our discussion now, and I expect some whining about how it’s almost over below.
