Nine best pictures awards? Is that normal!
Is that Steve McQueen related to dead 70s Steve McQueen? Or is it just an homage?
Steve McQueen is an Englishman , black and is know for his writing and directing. He wrote and directed the film Hunger starring Michael Fassbinder. It was about the IRA hunger strike in a Northern Ireland Prison.
The director is a black dude. I don’t think they are related.
Probably not even a homage, just an accident. And would you really say “an homage”? I wouldn’t.
Idgi. Like would I say it out loud? Yes. I would.
(Sorry, that was a bad joke on the homage thing. I always forget where you post.)
I’m am urging everyone to go see the movie Philomena with Dame Judi Dench. It is a brilliant film and based on a true story. You will not regret it one bit. Also, American Hustle is very good, I love Jennifer Lawrence in it.
