November 19, 2013 by tamaratattles 14 Comments

bravooriginalNEW YORK – November 19, 2013 – Bravo Media earned a record-breaking night this past Sunday, powered by “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” which made Bravo the #1 cable network in the 8pm hour among A18-49 and attracted nearly 3.7 million total viewers – making it the highest-rated episode of the season among all key demos, according to Nielsen.

“Watch What Happens Live,” which featured guests Phaedra Parks and Ben & Jewel Tankard, also delivered its most-watched episode of the season with nearly 1.4 million total viewers.

Bravo’s newest series, “Thicker Than Water” was up 18% among total viewers from the prior week’s episode (11/10/13) with over 1.8 million total viewers.

Additionally, the night rounded out with “Fashion Queens,” which also scored a season-to-date high among all key demos and earned nearly 1.1 million total viewers

Oh hell to the noe. I don’t want Thicker Than Water to get renewed.

Tune in tonight at 11pm ET/PT, as “Watch What Happens Live” welcomes Meredith Vieira and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. “Watch What Happens Live” is the only live, late-night, interactive talk show that features guests from the world of entertainment, politics, and pop culture. Hosted by Andy Cohen, the series includes lively debates on everything from fashion, the latest on everyone’s favorite Bravolebrities, and what celebrity is making headlines that week.

For a new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” tune in this Sunday, November 24 at 8pm ET/PT, where Kandi decides to get to the bottom of the Kenya and Apollo texting situation once and for all. As Cynthia continues to recover from her fibroid surgery, she receives startling news about her daughter. After a tearful visit with her therapist, Porsha finally begins to open up to the rest of the women about her marriage. Meanwhile, Kenya’s in need of a place to call home, so NeNe extends the olive branch of friendship and offers to assist in her house hunt. While out to dinner with Apollo, Phaedra decides to put the texting issue to bed, however, things go from bad to worse quickly.

Regarding ratings, the past couple of Sundays WWHL has averaged coming in around 45th or 46th on Sundays, but 85th last night and low throughout the week.

As for RHOA, it consistently get the best ratings for Bravo.

I watched like 5 minutes of it the other night, when he faked out giving her a new plane, but really it was a Mercedes butt ugly SUV. Then they blah blahed on and on about how much he buys her and next it’ll be an island, and- OOPS! I changed the channel. If I had continued watching, I would have pulled my hair out by the root. What kind of stupid show is this? Buffoonery with new money which was earned on the backs of tithers in the church. You know, I just can’t.

I’ve been watching Thicker Than Water and it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Actually, these folks are just as dysfunctional as the rest of us. Initially I was totally turned off by the “God is all about the bling in heaven” which is a blatant lie (IMO), but I guess they can believe whatever the hell they want. This guy Ben Tanker made his first money playing professional basketball, basically invented “gospeljazz” and is the best selling gospeljazz instrumentalist. in the world with 16 solo albums under his formidable belt. He has 15 gold and 6 platinum records too. I read that neither he nor his wife received a salary from their “church”. So, while I think he’s stretching the gospel truths as far as money goes (I don’t believe Jesus was rich in mammon) the Tankard bunch are interesting to watch because they are weird too…like me 🙂

Sure wish I had someone to chew the fat with on this motley crew. Sigh.

Thicker than Water is beyond ridiculous. They can be as money hungry as they want, but to bring religion into it is beyond the pale.

Thanks how I feel about all prosperity preachers. Talk about what Jesus would NOT do.

Exactly. Everything they preach about is the polar opposite of the principles of Christianity. These people are charlatans and I feel sorry for all of the people that have been duped by their bullshit

If Bravo looked at what people said about thicker than water, they would cancel the show. i didn’t see one positive tweet. And even on WWHL they were terrible and Andy didnt ask good questions. He was being very easy on them.

I agree about Thicker than Water. I do not believe in ‘prosperity’ preaching. I do not need to pay to pray. Furthermore St. Peter is NOT standing at the pearly gates asking for Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover to enter the kingdom!!
