newlywed3

Ahh Wedded bliss.  Young love. Such a pretty picture.  I was never the type that really planned a wedding as a young girl. I’ve always desperately wanted to be married. Just not to anyone I ever met….well except that one guy from Isle of Palms when I was 19. But I had too many things to do first at that time.  It was only in retrospect I realized that he was the love of my life. But this blushing bride, I suspect she was the type that planned her wedding from a young age. There is nothing wrong with that. Most girls look forward to their wedding day.  I’ve had more than my fair share of proposals in my life.  One guy, just seemed to want to get married. To anyone. He was ready to marry (for the second time) and I suspect the bride was not really that important. I was right. After I dumped him he was married within months. In fact, that has happened twice in my life. Dump the guy one day, invitation to his wedding soon to follow. So this blushing bride I think I understand. She wanted to get married, so she did. It was a lovely wedding.  Then she realized the consequences, so to speak of marriage, you are stuck with one guy for the rest of your life. She had made a big mistake. She knew it right after the wedding. Fuck. What to do. What to do?

So she took him hiking in Montana a shoved him off a cliff.

Jordan Graham, our bride who was married on June 29, 2013 after two years of dating the groom Cody Johnson shoved him in the back sending him careening off a cliff to his death just 8 days later. Before she did that, she texted with a friend about her “second thoughts” and said she was going to talk to Cody about her feelings. She told her friend if she didn’t hear from her then “something happened.”

Check out the FBI report here (it’s short and VERY interesting) . She reported her husband missing after shoving him off a cliff. Then pretended to just happen to find his body. It’s all kinda creepy.  Go.Read.The.Link.  She is charged with first degree murder and lying to police.  Both of which it looks like from the report she admitted to.

But the latest news is that the prosecution has asked for more time to test a piece of cloth near the body. They suspect it is a blindfold. Jordan made a comment to investigators that she was worried about the cliffs and Cody said he could hike the trail blind folded.

As always in my sidebars for trial watchers, feel free to bring up any case that interests you.

she should have just played it as an accident and not tried to cover it up. Boo-hoo my new hubby fell down and didnt get up. Help. She would have gotten away with that. But not after waiting so long.

I agree. Total idiot. If he was enough of an idiot to go blindfolded, she had the perfect excuse. It was so dumb of him, but sad too…he trusted her enough to blindfold himself and look what she did. There’s a seat in hell for her.

And if she blind folded him and led him to his death on the premise of a surprise, that’s extra horrible.

That’s what I think she did. I think she said ” hey I have a romantic surprise for you. Just put on this blindfold first” Then she shoved him. She’s been trying to say that they were arguing, he grabbed her, she pushed him away from her and then he slipped and fell. Sorry gurl but that dog just won’t hunt!

Don’t know if its already been discussed on here so this might be old news to everyone but our favorite wife-drowning doc was found guilty! Not sure what the sentencing was or if they’ve made it that far.

they were newlyweds, if she said lets get freaky on the hilltop, he would have beat her up there. We only have enough blood to operate one head at a time. Put on the blindfold honey and stand here and get your treat!

I am just watching this on Nancy Grace, and as soon as they played a little clip of the song she wrote for him which she sang on their wedding day, it all came back to me. Those lyrics are unreal. Don’t know if she could have possibly planned this even farther back than is thought, but more likely, it’s just a really eerie coincidence.

While I am keeping up to date with this case( she should have planned out her story WAY better) I cannot stop obsessing of the Kendrick Johnson story.
I cannot believe it has taken this poor family to actually get a proper investigation into this. It’s all so shady and unreal. I mean what teenager gets stuck in a gym mat and suffer cares to death. I think the school is being shady and the investigative work from the local police was ridiculous. I hope his family finds the answers they are looking for

Oh yeah, Kendrick’s case is heartbreaking! I sure hope they find out what happened too, it astonishes me the way law enforcement treats some cases. Kinda like how some people are fooled into thinking Sheriff Joe Arpaio is such a great guy. But they ignore the fact that he just flat out ignored over 300 cases, many being sex crimes against children. They didn’t screw up investigations, they just didn’t even bother doing them! And the fucker gets re-elected…people are DUMB!!

Wow. Since I have moved almost six months ago to Guyana, I had not heard of this case. Kalispell Montana and Glacier National Forest is where I spent over two weeks at a dude ranch about twelve years ago. Best vacation I ever had. The wild and natural beauty of the environment is breath taking. I rode horses daily and even went white river rafting. Just seems weird to read of such a horrible crime in the most peaceful and lovely place I have traveled to. Oops. Must have been over thirteen years ago as I was not suffering the debilitating spinal disease/pain I have had over twelve years!

What an idiot. It’s like she’s never seen CSI, Law and order, or hell even COPS! and whatever happened to divorce? You can even do it for free on tv! Let’s see the shame, stigma, and financial hardship of divorce vs cold blooded murder. DUH, murder!

Wow! “Isle of Palms.” I grew up there. The same thing happened to me. A guy from Sullivan’s Island asked me to marry him when I was 19 and in college. I politely declined, and he married within a couple of months…to someone who agreed to work and put him through dental school. Definitely not me!
