Sidebar: MacNeill Trial Discussion, Jodi Arias Update, Kendrick Johnson News and More

November 6, 2013 by tamaratattles 47 Comments

sidebar2MacNeill Trial continues today as the State’s case in chief comes to a close. Two jail house snitches testified to MacNeill admitting he murdered his wife while incarcerated.  Still to come, the state will take one more stab at Gypsy Willis before resting their case.

Jodi Arias Update. Judge Sherry Stephens of Maricopa County Superior Court has denied Jodi Arias’s latest request to fire Kirk Nurmi. Today issued a brief order saying she explained her reasons for the denial during a closed-door hearing Friday.

Kendrick Johnson Update. The family has hired Benjamin Crump as their family attorney. Really? Crump was one of several lawyers hired by the family of Trayvon Martin. The Johnson family is continuing to press for the release of surveillance tapes from the day that Kendrick died. It seems VERY fishy that these were not immediately handed over by the school. They are also calling for a full investigation of the Medical Examiner’s office by the overseeing board.

kind of what we expected for jodi. They originally wanted to delay until jan. and it looks like it will drag out at least until then. I wonder what the state is going to ask Gypsy about? I think macneill did this but dont think the state has proved murder without doubt. The jury didnt hear alot of what we did. Kendric Johnsons case is bizzare in how its been handled. I am glad its being relooked into.

I hadn’t heard until today that he gave the 911 operator the wrong address. I also didn’t know that he hung up on them two times. I thought it was just once.

Face it Jodi! No one likes you! Sorry you’re not getting a fair trial because even your head lawyer thinks you’re awful but maybe you should’ve at least pretended like you were remorseful for brutally murdering someone!

The videos released in the Kendrick Johnson case are so super sketchy. I find it hard to believe that the camera that faces the gym mats where he was later found is the ONLY camera, out of 36 cameras total, that is out of focus and blurry. And it does seem like the other videos were edited somehow although the school and sheriffs office both deny any editing done on the videos. So who knows. I feel so sorry for the family that it has take this long to garner enough interest to get an actual full investigation started. I hope that they find the answers that they are seeking because there is something majorly off point with this whole case and how it was originally handled.

I notice that when gypsy is on the stand, not only did he cry and keep his eyes on her constantly, but he also didn’t appear to clench his teeth like he does (which if you ask me, is in seething anger) when everyone else is on the stand. I also saw her look at him a few times. For anyone else who caught her looking at him, is it just me, or do you agree that her expression at those times were a little telling… like maybe she’s still into him?

Ok trial watchers this is a real life current mystery. Two families meet in neutral location, for a celebration. The 50ish male and 50ish female (different families) are found dead in hot tub. Minimal alcohol, slight Viagra level in male; no signs of sexual activity. Hot Tub and electric check out (although the forensic pathologist in charge says no way would she go in tub). Nothing found in autopsy that would kill them. How do you sign it out?

Hotel hot tub, I believe both. were single. They attended precelebration dinner . I am speculating ex spouses were there. This is why circumstance is so important. Money, grudges, knowledge….at least as of the weekend she would not sign out case.

My son just walked by corrected my grammer and asked can you talk about this. Yes, no names, no accusations. The whole MacNeill trial drowning issue is a pet peeve. There is dry drowning Extreme anxiety can make you feel as if you are choking, and in fact you can choke. This prevents water from entering the lungs.(I really love the fact., it is possible to clench your throat, and choke ) Additionally, you can put a dead body in water and your lungs can function as a sponge. This rant does have a point..The hot tub case came about because it is so frustrating to tell people, “I do not know”. Nobody loves you when you say that. Baden is a whore.

Additional info: No bad weather, Could someone string an electrical appliance to hot tub? It is so bugging her, just can not reconcile circumstance with lack cause of death. I proposed some type of autoerotic game and perhaps family removed evidence>>>>>that is total theory and in no way am I saying this is fact.. This true tragic case… It just is an example of how difficult things can be. Also the are huge differences between coronors, medical examiners, and forensic pathologist. There is also huge difference between states and even counties. The local funeral director could be an elected official making calls, the autopsy could be done by your gyn. ok seriously theories on the hot tub case.

Myrtle Beach, it was a wedding. They sent it to MUSC due to no cause , other then the fact, both were dead. They have tested and tested hot tub. Do not know if it was indoors. We were camping, she could not let it go. Her husband is retired CSI. We ended up saying let it go, listen to kids laughing As I said she could not sign it out.

Dr. E, she is the director of forensic pathology, at a medical university. I sent TT some info months ago, so she knows she is legit. It is a hard job to drop; sometimes my job is to make her laugh, assure her that she is normal and there is only so much she can answer.

At first I couldn’t figure out at all who “she” was, but as the comments continued, I figured out that she was something like that. What an interesting job, although I can imagine how much it would bother someone in that role when they don’t have a concrete answer (or at least CLOSE to a concrete answer) about what happened to the people. I’ll have a feeling the answers you got here are probably on the money.

autoerotic would show signs of trauma and generally kills only one at a time. Like dr macneill told one mistress, a potassium overload would stop the heart and be normally found in the body. But how to administer to two at the same time in the dosage each would require? I love puzzles but need to see the pieces to put it together. Where is this?

WOW I am amazed at the number of stories where two people die in hot tubs. It seems the coroners go with accidental as the COD saying they overheated, essentially passed out and drowned. Was there water in the lungs?

I just looked it up on internet, you are right about age Called friend and got a bitch session, She was ripping her husband concerning age. I then got the wakeup call that …if my liver and heart were put up against them. I lose.
They were in great condition, they should not be dead. In my defense put a forensic pathologist, CSI, Dive and Recovery , emergency pysch services, and you can have weird coversations. My BFFs anniversary was that weekend, so we had hilarious discussion of how they met at an accidental decapitation and she admired his flashlight.

Still same scene , no medical reason for.. death. . None , electric shock? but they can find no problems. in hot tub. I think Myrtle Beach cops need
to look for motive. and “blow dryers”. My heart breaks for the families, No one is happy, but she feels so uncomfortable signing out this case. The willingness to admit your limitations is huge. I promise to double check facts ,but still same questions.

they sat in the crock pot too long and died from the heat. Raise or lower your core body temp too much and it is fatal. Unless there is something suspicious like faulty wires or trauma it doesnt leave a lot to work with but heat alone can do the job

They were WAY too old to be in a hot tub for an extended period. Medications, alcohol, high blood pressure.

This is not uncommon. A google search for ” 2 dead in hot tub” brings ups LOTS of results. Everyday in the US at least one person dies in a hot tub or as a result of hot tubbing, (Legionaires, bacterial infections, etc) It’s sad. But there is probably no foul play.

Just got off phone, there is no anatomical cause of death. She signed it out as undermined. The two individuals had been high school sweethearts.(yes I mean high school).. The male had an accident clause on life insurance.. She keep going back to electric. Hot tub checks out…I asked about “blow dryers” GSI should blow fuse. I would think that could easily be circumvented. Tub outside ,no meds other than a low dose of Viagra.

Dr. E then let me know, she is not into dressing like a hooker to entice serial killers and she is not taking a dip in the hot tub.

We are doing Thanksgiving this year and she promised to check out TT sight. I told her only the best and the brightest were welcome.

Gypsy Jillian Willis gives first interview since verdict to Inside Edition.
She is crying her ass off and has red eyes. She says she wishes their lives had gone completely different way. Gypsy does not believe that Martin killed his wife. Gypsy says she went to the funeral because she was concerned for Martin. She felt sorry that I was a part of his life that was inappropriate at that point. Gypsy says that when she and Martin would go to his room and close the door when the kids were up, (and she was supposed to be nannying them, they were just talking and were not staying up there inappropriately. (If you are counting that is one count of sorry I was inappropriate, and one count of I was not in appropriate.) Gypsy said she always waited until the kids were all in bed before they had sex. Asked if she has a message she says she wants him to know that she hopes he is alright and she did truly care for him.

If you already missed it tonight there will be more of the interview tomorrow. She sure is crying a lot for someone who has moved on.

Not surprised in the least. I think these two had every intention of being together if he got off, which is what I think she really thought was going to happen. Thank God it didn’t. I don’t think his daughters would have ended up being able to function in the world if their father ran off into the sunset with that girl. I hope karma has it’s way with that one. I have my dvr set for tomorrow.
