We pick up where we left off with Liz and her husband arguing over the box of money and passports and the gun. Husband says he has no idea WTF is going on. Douchebag guy is already being a douchebag. She takes her husband Tom in her people.
Holy Crap! Tom is having an affair with a woman on the The Blacklist? This week’s target Gina Zanetakos! She seems to like blowing people up and corporate espionage so hopefully this will not be a gruesome episode as I am watching it late. Red of course will not cooperate with anyone but Lizzy so she is back on the job.
OOH I kinda like this Gina Zanetakos! She is beating the ever-loving shit out of Douchebag guy in the elevator. She also just killed some guy while wearing a killer leather bra contraption.
Looks like the husband is being set up. Red still insists he is having an affair with Gina. Lizzy doesn’t know who to trust. It’s interesting that Red calls Liz, Lizzy. That is a childhood name or at least a term of endearment. Red meets with the bombmaker to get the info about who Gina wants to blow up.
Aside: I keep waiting for Tom to tell Liz or SOMEONE to call him in to work and tell them where his emergency lesson plans are. (always in teacher mode)
Awesome girlfight between Gina and Liz, just as Gina is about to slit Lizzy’s throat, douchebag kills her! Or maybe she will live. We shall see.
Meanwhile the CIA bitch keeps interrogating Tom.
The bomb is supposed to go off at the Houston port. They find the car, and don’t know what to do. I say push it in the ocean! Though it is radio-active. FUCK it’s going off in minutes! Wow, Lizzie has the same idea. It’s not a good one but it is the best option for the time given I guess. Douchebag drives the car into the ocean.
Gina lives and spills that she killed the guy Tom is supposed to be responsible for. She fingers Red for everything. She says she does not know Tom Keen from Adam. Tom is released. I am confused. Red’s sidekick was the guy who pretended to interview Tom. Liz tells Red to go to hell. She is not going to talk to him anymore.
But someone is still observing Tom. And it’s not Red. They have a cryptic ending where the people who are watching Tom say, “The only thing I know for sure about him is he is not working for Reddington.”
last saturday they played a Blacklist. The episode started with a W. Was this a repeat of an ealier episode?
That was Wujing Episode 3. Monday’s Ep. was Number six. Mass confusion. Nice to see Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad working for Red now…
So Red all but says he is her father. I bet that is season 2. This season will probably end with the husband mystery. Heck, who knows? I like the show so far. Each week I expect it to let me down but it hasn’t so far.
On most Saturdays, all of the networks are reshowing one of their prime time shows.
I LOVE this show & Spader, but after the previous recap noting how horrible the lead actress is, I unfortunately paid more attention to her this week. OMG, she is HORRIBLE, she can barely move her mouth, blinking works, but nothing else. She couldn’t even squeeze a tear out enough to get one to fall, those glycerin eyedrops just kinda stayed there. lol
Just watched the episode, a couple of thoughts. How did Liz’s husband find the box? Didn’t she put it back in the compartment in the floor and drop the carpet back? Isn’t it slightly interesting that both Gina and Tom’s stash boxes are unsecured wood? Wouldn’t you put something secret and valuable in a fireproof, locked box? These are supposed to be pros, not sorority girls stashing their pearls in a fake box in the freezer. Where is Red this week? It looks like he’s remodeling…somewhere, but it doesn’t look to be the book-filled apartment with the home brew. And…field agents are supposed to be fact driven; profilers are supposed to be clear eyed and open to other world views in order to understand perpetrators. So why doesn’t Liz ask herself – why would Red lie about Tom? Liz is already going to Red in times of stress or when she’s in need of comfort. Red hasn’t asked her to do anything that disgraces or damages her professionally. Liz should start asking herself some hard questions.
Good questions, all. I am not sure they showed Tom finding the box. I think I erased the episode or this would make me go watch again.

i dont think they showed him finding the box, it was on the table in front of him when she walked in. And he asked her whats this? So it could still be his and he is playing dumb
You’re right, Steve – but why didn’t she ask, “where did you find this?”. If Liz had put it back in the underfloor compartment – what took him there? If she hid it in her closet (or whereever)….that’s another thing.
the floor squeeked and he moved the rug? Was sweeping floor and the rug moved? Got caught redhanded and BSed his way out? He is covering for his evil twin? Tune in next week!! The old tv getcha to comeback trick
This is just me, but if confront me with the goods… I’d spill.

TT you have a conscience. Not many people in these shows can make that claim. Who planted the cameras in the house? And did she find the box before the cameras were there? So far the biggest action taken by him finding the box is a long day chilling with the feds..and her running to Red.
Who designed Gina zanetakos’ bra??
Ok am I the only one slightly confused? Loved loved loved, this episode so much, but my question is, did Gina get transferred to prison and could she possibly come back? I’d honestly love to see that bc her character and connect to Tom is very intriguing. Plus she’s just a badass! Seriously tho, has anyone else been wondering this as much as me? They kinda js left it hanging, yea she lived but we get nothing past that.
