American Horror Story: Coven Episode 1: “Bitchcraft”
BOO! everybody… Urethra Franklin is here, and I’m adding some scary spice to Tamara’s blog since she is a self-proclaimed scurrdy cat. Plus she’s had too many real life entanglements with REAL witches & bitches of the Sheree kind #FreeSpeech. This season’s plot is a smartly written story about a coven of witches & voodoo priestesses in New Orleans. If you never watched any of the American Horror Story series before, I beg you to start now. You won’t be disappointed. Let’s discuss, dissect, explain, & theorize this wildly unpredictable show and keep the visits clicking on TT’s site. Please show her some support by pressing the play button on the ads, mute them if you want, and help the drunken lady get paid.
American Horror Story: Coven is the 3rd series of a fantastic horror anthology with imagery that lures you in, SCARES the shit out of you, and makes you yearn to be scared more. Many times I’ve watch some scenes with my hand up to my face as I peek through my fingers, and it’s so embarrassingly exhilarating. Each season stands alone with characters, era, setting, and a story with nuances, historical refereneces, and layers that sometimes leaves you with more questions than answers; and not knowing is more horrifying than knowing. The only obvious continuity woven through the series is the cast of actors that have been cast for 2 or more seasons, and the iconic Jessica Lange always steals the whole damn show from a very diverse, talented & acclaimed cast. So cant’ we just call this “The I Am Obsessed with Jessica Lange” show? Watch tonight October 9 on the F/X channel. 9central/10eastern
