Things I Should Be Blogging But I’m Not

A Sampling of Current Reality TV Casting CallsHey y’all, in case you missed the memory I have taken a hard right turn into Crazyville, which in this iteration means sleeping through entire days and complete failure to muster up a decent blog. I just can’t get behind any of my blog ideas enough to, you know, actually make a whole blog out of them, so I am just going to toss it all out to you at random here and you can chat about whatever strikes your fancy. Okay?

First, my ability to focus and care about this Eat, Drink, Love show is nil. I am trying, I swear.  But I have watched the last episode twice, or more accurately had it on in the background but I just can’t seem to blog about it. It’s not a bad show, I just don’t have much to say about it.  In my PR email from Bravo today they announced there will be two shows next week. To me, that is an indication that ratings are bad and they are trying to flush the show as quickly as possible. Which is sad because the show does not suck. Here is the PR spin from today:

Bravo Media heats up the kitchen with Eat, Drink, Love on Sunday, August 25 at
9pm ET/PT when Nina turns to longtime family friend, actress/model Lauren Hutton for advice and throws an adult “show and tell” party in hopes of strengthening new  friendships. Waylynn relives a bittersweet memory by putting on her dream wedding dress she never got to wear. On the flip side, Waylynn’s “no-chef”
dating policy is challenged and she just may cave in. Meanwhile, Brenda and Kat
attend a very exclusive charity dinner where Kat is the flirty center of attention, but when Kat starts getting texts at the table, Brenda makes an accusation that puts Kat on edge.

On Thursday, August 29, the series moves to its new day and 10 pm ET/PT timeslot.
The ladies are tested to the limits and have no problem wearing their hearts on
their sleeves.  When Jessica’s father visits from out of town, she is eager for
his approval, which is never easy to receive. Waylynn breaks her “no chef” policy when things progress with her new love interest Andrew.  At a casual dinner, Jessica makes a snap business decision which questions her professionalism. Meanwhile, Brenda drops a bomb when she confronts Kat about her reputation in the LA food scene. With her career in the forefront of her life, Jessica receives an email that puts her entire career in jeopardy.

It’s no secret that I am a fan of Reality Tea, sadly I rarely have time to read there when I am functioning as a blogger. Since I am 50 shades of Cray at the moment I indulged in my guilty pleasure of reading there. (Y’all should read here not there, lol. Do as I say not as I do! Seriously, RT has always been very nice to me. I love them.)  So here are their blogs I recommend.

I am not even clear headed enough to comprehend the Phaedra musical movie thing, but there are nekkid pics of Porshe!  Someone needs to explain the Phaedra thing to me. http://www.realitytea.com/2013/08/21/phaedra-parks-life-being-made-into-a-movie-porsha-stewart-poses-naked/

Also, remember when I was the authority on all things Shahs of Sunset?  I sort of forgot they existed.  But Reality Tea says that GG has dumped her BF and he took out a restraining order on her because she is a crazy chick that carries lots of knives.  Check out that story here. http://www.realitytea.com/2013/08/20/sean-sette-obtains-a-restraining-order-against-golnesa-gg-gharachedaghi-shahs-of-sunset/

So that is that for now. Please don’t leave me for RT forever. 🙂

I’ll never leave you. However, I deleted Eat,Drink, Love from my DVR yesterday. Maybe it doesn’t suck, but it’s boring as hell.

TMZ has a post with a bloody faced GG (with eye make-up still intact) and she claims she was hurt too. Everyone knows GG is fascinated with knives, and everyone knows she’s batshit, so none of this should have been any surprise.

    Get better, Tamara.

To put the whole “bloody face” into context. It just so happens that there are no bruises and nothing that interfered with her makeup/

Thanks, I think this may be a hormonal incident that will pass. I also sent you an email. I just got finished dragging Banjos ass back home after an off leash trial gone bad. He tried to bite me and I just threw his ass out into the backyard. SOFA KING pissed at this dog. We have been working in the dark of night on leashless walks. Today we did it in daylight and he showed his ass.

nah, I only take one med (Effexor) I also have lots of narcoleptic episodes. My doc prescribed some pills that cost $35 each and I bought two but they make me sick and don’t keep me awake… I just think the Effexor has stopped working. It’s frustrating.

Phaedra’s so called movie………. I reall hope that is false cause she is then just asking for a failure. Her book seems kind of interesting, but that picture with the 50s hair does not suit her.

It is great that Porsha is feeling more confident and comfortable about herself. The pictures are interesting….

I can’t @ Phaedra’s biographical movie. Is there ANYTHING she isn’t trying to do? Lord.

Any of y’all watching Basketball Wives? I dunno if I’m gonna bother with this season after all the shadiness that’s gone down, and I refuse to watch an Evelyn Lozada pity parade.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon. My cray-cray outgrew Effexor and now is controlled by wellbutrin and celexa; Xanax for baaad days. I have a FT tough job with travel but you undoubtedly have issues I don’t know about but maybe some med changes might help? I hope good things for you – you are a talented and interesting blogger and seemed like such a good person that I donated to your defense fund. I wish you well 🙂

Thanks so much Cat. Effexor was helping for awhile. drinking makes things worse so I blame the failures on that. I just don’t get why I suddenly “went crazy” sure my job was UBER stressful, but I was a pretty strong person. I haved traveled by myself my whole life to all sorts of weird places. I have no REASON to be depressed or anxious. I have a pretty nice life. And suddenly, I am randomly sad or anxious about things that are not normal. I think I must have some physical issue causing this. Maybe peri-menopause? I know the narcolepsy is usually cyclical. If I am going to go crazy, I would rather just be a blithering crazy fool than realize something is very wrong with my brain. That is scary.

Tamara maybe changing your diet might help (if you check with your dr). You know “they’ve” done wierd things to our food supply that along with the meds we take, do strange things to us and we don’t know why. I’m 63 and for depression I take wellbutrin (although I cant even tell if its working anymore since I’ve been on it for 5-6 years) But I have given up a lot of sugar red meats bread etc. I’m not much of a drinker (if at all) But I hope you feel better soon.

I totally agree. I live in ATLANTA and will only have my occaisional co cola that I love from Mexico. Did you know we are the only country that has that stupid HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP in our coke? I am HORRIFIED as a co cola stock holder that I have to pay a HUGE premium to drink Mexican co cola.

Sorry I know I sound like a lunatic but yes when I can afford to eat organic I am much much better, and I try. But I have been unemployed for 3 years living off my emergency fund and refuse to go on disability. I really don’t make much of anything off ads here but thankfully people use the donate button. I have no ins and everything is a mess. Sorry over sharing it’s late and I am drunk.

perimenopause can start around age 35 or so, so it might well be. i have friends with horrible mood swings because of it. i live in san francisco and we do have free medical clinics and hospitals to go to even if we don’t have insurance. is something like that available for you? wonder if they can check hormone levels for you. sorry you’re not feeling great right now. (((hugs)))

Wait, so no one diagnosed you with pre-menopause?? (yet)?? I was extremely cray-cry for two years, but the last one was so bad I thought I was actually, literally, going to murder someone… I didn’t know my age could have been the cause of it. It wasn’t until I went to the doctor because my period had lasted ten days that I was instantly diagnosed with pre-menopause and put on Serafem (Prozac). This has helped IMMENSELY and probably saved some lives, lol. I still have some anxiety but I hate asking for drugs and at least the anxiety has calmed a bit. Whatever your issue is, I really feel for you and hope the doctors can fix it soon. Lastly, I also realized my drinking was making my craziness worse, and I’ve cut way way back (but was probably drinking too much anyway).

My shrink is a man and not up on the female stuff. Like he doesn’t even know when menopause starts (or maybe he thinks I am older than I am) because I told him the narcolepsy happens with my periods and they come any old time may 2 or three times a month and he was like..”oh you still get your period?”

If I had ins I would go to a gyn…

I am sorry for discussing this here, it is inappropriate. I just feel like I know you guys.

Now TT, I know you don’t want to go on disability, so I’m sure you don’t want to go on just plain medicare, but gurlll, you need to get yourself some health insurance somehow! What if something major happens to you (knock wood)? It is slso so important at this age to get the basic testing done even. Colonoscopy, mammograms, etc. I worry for you not having health insurance. 🙁

Tamara not trying to get all up in your Kool-aid , but do consider the disability. (1) I’m sure you probably qualify in as how long you probably worked (points) (2) you paid into the system so its YOUR money (3) Don’t wait too long because you know they are trying to figure out ways to stop giving it out or the money is going to run out soon anyway. If you do decide to check into it ,don’t apply directly to SS on your own, go thru a SS atty or agency that specializes in only that. Yeah there’s a fee involved when you get approved , but they dont get the fee unless you do get approved, so they work to make sure you do get approved. If you apply directly to SS on your own you may get denied 2-3 years before you get approved. I hope this helps a little. How do you get Coca-Cola from Mexico? Is that an Atl. thing or do you special order it?

TT – minus scripts, I can attest to going through most of the things you are describing. ~ My thoughts: Your chem’s aren’t mixing well. (cleansing?) Most of them can have ((terrible side effects.)) But… you DO sound classic peri-menopausal AND probably just about to crest the change. You’re most likely NOT used to a lot of days without GA sunshine either…[take vitamin D]. Too many cloudy, rainy days not only effect mood swings – but inhibite mold everywhere. (how bad is the pollution there?) Every time the barometric pressure changes I go into immediate low-grade sinus infections that makes me very sick & really tired for weeks on end. I also left out (my) long list of “F__ck It’s” & “Attitude” binges, too. (b/w – a lot of food tastes like shit to me now, especially most meat.) [bio-franken food !] ~ Take care of you !!

No TT, You’re NOT imagining it… I even get inner earaches now – and I’ve never had earaches, even when I was small. Ya, that’s it – It can actually change the way you feel hourly and comes on very quickly. I know THIS sounds crazy, for me, it started to become chronic after Hurricane Katrina blew up & across the US. ~ Somethin’ in that air was funky and way different… now I just live with it every day ! Fatigue for now reason can wipe me out ! My husband always says he should hang me out side with the thermometer !!!

    Hey, TT…..If you haven’t already, maybe you should have your thyroid levels checked. It’s a simple blood test. Thyroid problems can affect your energy, weight and even the ability to think straight. Thyroid disease can also affect your mood and cause symptoms that mimic mental illness. Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body. Think about it ~ it might be worth a try! { Been there, done that! }
