Bravo Moves Kandi Factory to Sundays Permanently!

April 30, 2013 by tamaratattles 24 Comments

RHOAKandiWith the Kandi Factory pulling in an abysmal 500,000 viewers on Tuesday nights, Bravo has decided to air the remaining episodes on a coveted Sunday night timeslot. This is a brand new change because as of yesterday the plan was to air nothing but Married to Medicine on Sunday nights until RHONJ comes back. I am a bit surprised Bravo is bailing out The Kandi Factory. Here is the official Bravo Press Release on the subject.

NEW YORK – April 30, 2013 – Bravo Media’s “The Kandi Factory” strikes a high note and delivers a season high with over 1.1 million total viewers in its new timeslot this past Sunday night, which featured Washington native Lizzy Vanpatten facing off Brandon Wolf, from Canby, OR. Additionally, the episode garnered nearly 700,000 among A18-49, according to Nielsen.

Bravo will air an additional new episode of the “Kandi Factory” tonight at 10pm ET/PT, where Kandi’s team takes on Garrison, a “Soccer Mom” looking 42-year-old administrator with rock star dreams. But, Garrison’s aspirations become her nightmare as she is forced to confront her deep-seeded fears about sexuality when Kandi writes her a pop anthem titled “The Mighty O” – based on Garrison’s own personal journey with her sexuality. Facing off against Garrison is Kevin, a successful 28-year-old lawyer, eager to become the next R&B sensation. However, Kandi is not fully sold on his swag, and tries to teach him how to “woo” the ladies. The stakes are even higher this week as American Idol winner Ruben Studdard joins for a special guest appearance.

“The Kandi Factory” settles into its new timeslot on Sunday, May 5 at 10pm ET/PT, where both protégé’s stories hit close to home for Kandi. In her most emotional challenge yet, she mentors Cory, a talented 18-year-old theater enthusiast who suffers from Autism, Tourette’s syndrome, ADD and OCD. Cory is determined to overcome the odds, prove everything wrong and launch a music career with his soaring vocals. Up against Cory is Kristin, a stunning 25-year-old who is trying to fulfill her lifelong promise to pursue her musical dreams she made to her brother who died in a tragic accident. She decides to channel the pain into a heartbreaking ballad called “If You Were Here.” Will Kristin be able to deliver the emotional performance the song deserves?

Why am I at the bottom when mine was the very first comment?!
        But anyway – No. I really don’t care. I think she’s boring.

I wish her well. Not only is she making money, she is helping others make money. And for that alone, I wish her well.

I like Kandi and will watch this show a bit longer. I’m hoping it will pick up as more episodes are shown. I rather support Kandi than Kim any day. Have not watched a minute of Kim’s show and never will.

Have you seen the stats on Kandi’s show. They were off the chart. That’s why they move her to Sunday. I thing she was on mid-week before.

I think part of the problem with the show is that these people can’t really sing (at least what I’ve seen so far).

I like her show. What make it interesting to me are the original songs she writes for the contestants. Kandi can write a good song. I also heard she is working with TLC again. I can’t wait. I need another male bashing club song in my life right now. LOL.

Kim Zolciak Sings The Ring Didn’t Mean a thing UNEDITED – on you tube – has Kandi been leaking? In any case, it’s good for a belly laugh.

No matter what Khandi does to try to get back at Kim….bottom line she dropped the ball with Tardy, got played and need to get over it. What a fool Kim made of her.

She did drop the ball, but I’m sure she’s done enough research to know she can put a stop to Kim making anymore money on it. I guess there will be a court date at some point.

Unlike the newbies on Kandi’s new show, Kim cannot sing. Even with all the help she was given while making the songs… she will never sound like anything.

This is a show, that show cases Khandi’s writing talents, not the artist…and that’s the problem. 99% of the people on these shows are too whack to have any type of singing careers, they crack once on stage, all have mental issues and its not entertaining at all. Bravo made a huge mistake trying to cash in on Tardy for the party fame, they need to let it go. Love Khandi, but she need to stick with the professionals and Housewives and her dildo’s to earn a true living.

I beg to differ. I watched her last show when the “lady” sang Kandi’s “O” song. It was quite entertaining. The guy was boring and no confident in his musically abilities, yet they groomed him into a winning singer with swagger. It was also nice to see regular people go through the whole process on one show.

It’s weird how Kandi seems to bring the sex into literately every aspect of her life. Listen to the words of the “O” song she wrote for the show. It’s about orgasms. I’m not upset with her. She capitalizes on something she loves and doesn’t care what we or anybody else think about it.

I say….go for it Kandi!!! I get the impression, she wouldn’t be too upset she had not been resigned with the housewives.

Now Kim’s show is another story. It is totally boring and doesn’t seem to have any substance. The wedding series was good. I watched a couple episodes of the new one to see if and how her mommy issues were resolved. And, it was good to see Croy step in as a firm father figure to her daughters.

I personally do not care for Kim. Especially since she has another ‘Miss Hattie”, following her around the house.

GREAT! I didn’t watch the show, ever. I wasn’t giving ANOTHER “talent-show” a chance- there’s American Idol, X-Factor US & UK, So you Think you Can dance, America’s got Talent, and a crap load of others. I don’t know why she just won’t do a show (other than RHOATL) about herself. NOBODY CARES about these wanna be singers anymore. We have enough. We (the fans) Give a shit about Kandi Burris, which is why this is probably going to be its first and last season, sadly. Kandi should stick to what she is good at- Reality TV, Selling Pleasure, and writing BOMB ASS SONGS. Nobody can take that from her- but people can talk about this show that barely has enough views to stay on during the week. haha, funny though, I was wondering why I didn’t see her show on the Tuesday Lineup of shows I normally watch online. Welp, now I know. Thanks Tamara!
