Last Thursday we all fell into the rabbit hole with Alyce expecting a few oddities however what we were not expecting in chapter one was to encounter Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. We have seen enough of Sleepy and Dopey already. We need to move this show along. We did get to the part where Alyce eats the cake that says EAT ME and grows a very, very large head. So what to expect today?
Well, in the traditional version of the story Alyce is due to arrive at the pool of tears. Whether this Alyce in this story has a come down from eating the cake and collapses in a pool of tears remains to be seen. Perhaps, we will pick up the pace a bit and get to the caucus race where everyone chases each other in circles and no one ever wins. Or maybe we will once again diver off script and pause briefly to diagnose Snow White as a victim of abuse. While the evil queen surely did scar Snow White for life and possibly provide the catalyst for an anxiety disorder, Alyce will have a hard time labeling Prince Charming as and abuser.
Whatever discussion of children’s literature we have today, we will be recapping it, discussing it and most likely arguing about it in comments. Please join us.
P.S. This Alice in Wonderland defense has been used before. See how it worked for Teresa Giudice here.
Edited to add picture of Nurmi hugging Alyce after court Thursday outside the presence of the jury but in the presence of the judge….
