I’ve posted twice now in the nohelp forum on WordPress.com about my issue with WordPress and how it is now interacting with Twitter. As soon as I hit post in the support forum it says,”This post has been closed to new replies” and that it was posted FORTY TWO YEARS AGO by an admin. Kidding not.
Here is the second post I made…
I’ve tried in vain to stop twitter from including “media” when I hit the share button on my blog. While trying to do that, I’ve discovered that the “Media” is now more than just the first picture but also includes all of my short blogs and a good portion of the longer ones when you click the “show media” tab on the tweet.
Whose brilliant idea was this? Now I have to manually cut and past the address of the blog post onto twitter if I want people to read the blog on my site rather than twitter. Can we get the old version back with just a title, a link and NO MEDIA? Please and thank you.
Did WordPress suddenly hire Steve Demello to be in charge of their help forums?
I tried with WP and I just can’t. Blogger is user friendly but not as fancy, however it does not give me headaches and nightmares like WP. I can’t with them.
I gave up on WordPress a while ago …its very fickle!! LOLOL
