RHONY: Thoughts onTonight’s One Note Storyline

Here’s Sonja on her girls’ trip to St. Barts

I’m flipping back and forth between RHONY and the finale of Bachelor Pad and I think Bachelor Pad is the saner option. Really two grown women can’t handle two other women going to dinner with their spouses? Is this really all that happened on this trip?

Wow, even Heather is pissed about the “couples dinner.” I just don’t get it! It’s not like the other FOUR women are going to have to…god forbid… go to dinner alone. There are four of them! I don’t get why this is an issue at all!

Um, Aviva…have you ever been on a girls’ trip? Bringing home random guys happens quite frequently on such trips. So I’ve heard. I love how Sonja with a j is making plans to hook up with the help one minute and then insisting to Aviva that her husband is ruining the girl vibe.ย  The hot chef guy seems to take the huge catfight all in stride and doesn’t let it interfere with his screen time.

Aviva says Sonja is like Anna Nicole Smith! That’s pretty classic. How old was her husband exactly?ย  Really? Are we going back to the Luann wants a baby storyline next week? /sigh

The entire episode was Pure fuckery. Excuse my french or should I say Italian ( LuAnn thinks they are one in the same anyway).

I don’t know. Aviva tweeted last week, Reid was going to stay at a hotel. When it changed, the vibe changed. Non of this would have happened if Luann didn’t tell Aviva they wanted her to tell him to leave. Aviva overreacted as much as Ramonja did.
When dinner plans were made, Aviva relished that it was the two couples. I agreed with Heather it was a diss to not include her!

All Aviva could think about was herself, she dragged the whole trip down.

If you experience anxiety yourself… it’s a weird ass thing that makes you act in a bizarre way. Unless you have been there yourself, you will never understand the crazy. Of course she acted in a way totally out of line for the situation. You can’t really understand it even when you are in it. It’s hard to trust anyone when you have a random anxiety attack.

      Or so I’ve heard. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tamra…I couldn’t agree with you more. Anxiety can be paralyzing….which is the part that confuses me….I just went to st. louis to help my son move….long story short other serious life issues going on, and the the day before I was supposed to get on the plane I had the most severe anxiety attack I’ve had to date.
It was so all consuming that all I could do was call me niece and blubber to her “you have to help me”. I couldn’t have done all that avivia did and blamed on her anxiety. I was a useless puddle. she seemed more histrionic to me…..
End of story….quick trip to the ER….some xanax and all better….but those things are scaaaary!

I am a special kind of crazy. ๐Ÿ™‚ I will get random panic attacks at home (where all the responsibility is) and then freak out thinking I will have one when I fly, but I never do. I can’t remember ever having a panic attack on a trip. Just at work or random days in the house. Or grocery stores. lol. I take a supplement by NatureMade called SAM-e and as long as I remember to take it every day, with a B complex it keeps the crazy at bay. Well most of the crazy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, *disclaimer* I am not a doctor, check with yours and research online, it’s not for everyone etc etc* It’s also expensive and I take FOUR 400mg a day for depression/anxiety. It works much better for anxiety and you don’t need to take nearly as much if that is your only issue. It’s not like Xanax that you take as needed, it’s an everyday thing that takes a few days to build up. Take with B vitamins. Take the Sam-e on an empty stomack first thing in the am 30-45 minutes before food. Costco has the best deal by far on price.

Please, no more Aviva. She’s bar none the most draining housewife to watch! She truly doesn’t get it. I’m starting to think she’s not even a good example for people who have lost limbs. Her message is, if you experience a tragedy then you’ll develop lifelong anxiety issues that you’ll never overcome. Then add angry and judgmental to the mix. Yea, less Aviva is better for me.

I agree. Real people with real issues have no place on RHONY. It should be all about the drunks and the whores. Why bring real issues into a show about housewives?

Woah! Didn’t know stating my opinion was going to illicit snark and sarcasm. Nice. All the housewives are real and have real issues. Every one of them. Aviva isn’t the exception. These shows have always dealt with serious issues mixed with lighter fare to make a compelling program. Aviva’s issues dealing with tragedy and anxiety had the potential to be inspirational, but that’s not what’s happening. Her very own blog reflects my opinion which SHE aptly titled “The Jerk”. If she believes she behaved like a jerk, why on earth would you snark on me for not wanting to see more of her?

LOL yes Tam. While Aviva was experiencing anxiety attacks; Sonja and Ramona were constantly whispering behind her back thinking that she was out of earshot. That is exactly the Wrong thing to do. When Bethenny and the others witnessed Kelly’s crazy ass losing it; they compassionately changed the way they would normally behavior so as to not make the situation worse in Kelly’s mind. This is what Mature women do. What they don’t do is to point, whisper and complain incessantly.

I agree with you Jenna. Aviva’s dad sat at a dinner table talking about squirting orgasms in front of her but she finds Ramona and Sonja getting drunk and being loud on vacation repulsive? If she finds Sonja to be like Anna Nicole why did she try to fix her dad up with her? I REALLY cannot stand her. She talks down to people and clearly isn’t used to being challenged as she talks to them like they are children. Regardless of how you like or dislike their behaviour they were on VACATION! hello??? and it was LUANNE who brought they guy there NOT Sonja?!
If I were invited on a GIRLS trip which it WAS! and then got stuck with 2 couples when I left my husband and kids at home I’d be pissed too. Who wants a guy hanging around on a girls trip unless he’s a super hot french speaking italian friend that looks like johnny depp?! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Aviva brought the negativity and anger and crazy. It was a funny and salacious trip before that then she showed up. I really don’t care for the anxiety excuse. I suffered from it after my son was nearly killed in an accident. My girlfriends and I went on a trip months after and I never laughed so hard in my life! I didn’t go into it making it all about me and what I just went though and the horror, I went with the appreciation for being surrounded by strong, crazy, funny, wild women who all brought something different. I didn’t want to party like some of them but neither did a couple other girls so we laid low sometimes.
What she said about Sonja made me pissed. Whats the difference if your born into money or marry it?!

Personally, Ramona & Sonja seem to be very immature for their ages. It is embrassing to even watch them on vacation. They are just snarky S—–s. And what is with Ramona & Sonja taking off their swim suits every 5 minutes. They are WAY to old to do that – who wants to see all those icky wrinkls and dropped asses? i think most women who watch this specific show know that Ramona & Sonja are some almost-there sluts. FF through those two the minute they pop up on the screen. However, loving the dynamics between the other 4 gals. BRAVO – Please let this be their last season!!! Puhlease……

Let your hair down and have a little fun. So judgemental. And I have yet to see a wrinkle on either of their perfect store bought bodies…and what is too old? They were on vacation…the point of vacation is to “vacate” your normal surroundings and do something different. If you want to do the same things you do at home everyday, then whey even vacation? I’ve been on so many girl trips, and the point is to be “girls” and have fun!!!!! Not bring your husband and do couples stuff. I hate women who act like they can’t live without their men for one freaking day! Reminds me of the same stunt that was pulled on housewives of OC. Maybe it’s a black girl thing… the RHOA women never have a problem with leaving their men at home. LOL!

Watching Aviva is simply too taxing. I can’t fathom having to deal with her on a personal level. All that whining and whimpering, incessant neediness bordering on the pathological, and a simply dull as dirt personality makes her continuing casting on RHONY, hopefully, untenable. The woman is simply a bore, and her constant quivering is gross. Her husband must contemplate suicide constantly. God knows I would. Oh, and as a lawyer for almost 20 years, I can tell you that her personality is antithetical to those women who I went to law school with. They were confidant, articulate, sharp, funny, and on the whole – charming. Aviva apparently shares none of these qualities, or refuses to allow the cameras to capture a single one. Inevitably she’ll justify that too with some emotionally pathetic story of woe. Gross, just gross!
