Wonder Why the Real Housewives of Atlanta Are Not Blogging? Here is One Reason

January 18, 2012 by tamaratattles 17 Comments

Thanks to a reader tip and email with the link, I have the episode of Kandi Koated Nights where Kandi says she doesn’t blog anymore because Bravo edits her entries. I started at about the 28 minute mark and it goes until about 34th minute. First she talks about Nene saying she plays both sides and explains she had to go to Miami because Nene would not speak to anyone else. Then she says that when she blogged to defend the whole “playing both sides of the fence” accusations, Bravo cut them out of her blog.  Then someone off camera tells her to stop talking about Bravo so she clams up and gets back to the topic.

I stopped posting comments on BRAVO because sometimes they would not post my comments. I didn't know that they edit the housewives blogs. This entire Housewives series and Andy have become so fake.

I hate that they are doing this its not right nor is it fair. They do this with the comments too they pick and choose which ones to post to sway everyone to a general feeling about that person.

I'm glad bravo blogs are such crap. That's what caused me to go looking for other places for my Bravo fix. Thank goodness I found these outside blogs! They're better anyway…who wants to read recaps by the producers? Pfft!

This explains why Kandi hasn't been blogging, but I wonder why the other ladies aren't posting? I thought they were required to do so…

Samantha Leffler at WetpaintRHOA is ALWAYS pinching my blogs. I try to write it off as current topics, but this KKN episode is from ages ago. It's just supposed to be coincidence that she decided to blog about it a couple hours after me?

I stopped posting comments at Bravo also after I noticed not once not twice but three times that my comments were not being posted. Its like they post comments of the fans that kiss a certain housewives ass and post the nasty comments to another housewifes blog to keep up with how the show is going smh Im starting to really get over the whole housewives thing its so obvious how scripted the shows are smh.

I don't blame Kandi a bit – and I'm glad she spoke on it. I don't even read BRAVO blogs anymore … and it seems BRAVO "edits" all the HW blogs … so what is the purpose of them even trying?

Off topic did anyone see NeNe on Glee last night? I did and even though it was a small intro to her character I enjoyed her acting its kind of refreshing to see her not playing the "rich bitch" role.

"Someone off camera tells her to stop talking about Bravo." Whoa. Bravo sounds more and more like it's turning into a fascist regime.

Well we know the show is edited and scripted into what Bravo want's, so it's not surprising they would edit what the housewives blogs – and also comments. I guess it's hard for people who bought into the series to realize it's fake. It took me awhile, but I am so over Andy and Bravo. Have to agree with another poster that these blogs are so much better. Linda

A lot of blogs got started precisely because of the editing and censorship that goes on not only at the Bravo site but at other Bravo-owned forums as well. If they hadn't been so heavy-handed and obvious about it, there might never have been born people (like me) who are determined to find out what goes on behind the scenes for ourselves. Busting through the bullshit on these shows has become a whole new genre of reality TV entertainment.

"Bustin through reality b.s." Ha!Which is why the blogs and commentary are much more interesting that the shows. It's amusing to see how many folks spot the crap.BTW, I was following ho-wives on TWOP (TV Without Pity), which at one time was a great site for bustin through RealityShow b.s. but then Bravo bought the site, and that was the end of that.

Kandi's just lazy…She can post her full unedited blog on her own website just like another housewife does.

yes…very interesting! I had a hard time sitting through her awful segment waiting for the Bravo bits. The female cohost is an airhead and incoherent. They all laugh together, but I am not in on the joke.

Tams, may I call u Tams?? What r your thoughts on Andy's PJ party?? TV genius or just disturbing? He picked some strange guests to do it with, but was that the genius part? Why does he give a sh*t if Pjs are banned in public. I think he just wanted to see some bulge action on Ralph. He did ask him if he was commando.

If you wanna watch past episodes just go to kandikoatednight.com You can watch all the episodes even the very first one. The episode with marlo on kkn is there also. Which goes to show that kandi was not grilling her that had been talking about personal things all night which is why kandi why kandi didn't understand why marlo wouldn't tell the truth about her money.
