I’ve had a draft of this post laying around for ages and of course now that I am ready to write about it It can’t be found. I was probably making the whole thing too complicated anyway. Anyway, for reasons that I don’t understand we will be having not one but two new episodes of RHOA this week. One at the regular Sunday time and another on Tuesday. Kim has her baby in the first one and brings home baby KJ in the second one. I’m sure that will get a lot of airtime, but what has been bugging me for weeks is the Sheree and Butt Head Bob storyline.
Of course we will be duing the Time Warp again because Kim’s baby was born on March 31 and Butt Head Bob filed his motion on June 6th. But those are the least of our problems this week. Click through to find out why I am three flavors of confused about this whole courtroom drama.

First of all I can’t imagine the level of desperation that motivates someone to actually decide that of all the men in the world, Bob Whitfield is the one you want to have babies with. I just don’t get it. But that happened so let’s try not to visualize things too hard and move on.
Here’s the thing. On the very first night of this season they showed a rather longish clip of upcoming catfights and defugalties. As part of that clip you saw Phaedra and Sheree in a courtroom with I believe Butt Head Bob also in the shot. So one would think that Sheree hires Phaedra to represent her in her divorce. And in fact, last episode, we saw Phaedra trying to get Sheree to take Butt Head Bob to court.
Phaedra offers to represent her.
Here are the two major red flags that went off in my head. First, did Fulton County really allow a camera crew for a reality TV show into the courtroom of a divorce proceeding that involves minor children? I really can’t imagine that. Yet, we see it in the clip. Next, Phaedra is not a divorce attorney. Her practice covers sports, entertainment and intellectual property. Some of y’all out there with your own blogs need to acquaint yourselves with the term “intellectual property” by the way. I’m just saying.
Also, up until this Tuesday’s episode they make it look like Sheree was talking about taking Butt Head Bob to court but Butt Head Bob is the plaintiff in every instance they have been to court against each other.
Update: A lot of data and text was missing since Fulton County Court documents tend to fall out of Blogger for some reason. This also is why I thought some of you did not know how to click past the jump because it was all there the first time I posted it. I have reformatted as a word document so I hope it sticks this time. Below you will see the entire timeline of the court process. Also I looked at each appearance individually and Phaedra was never the attorney of record it was always Nicol Hanyard.
I'm guessing Bob is being paid by Bravo to play the POS father who won't pay his child support??? Seriously – what man in his right mind would be willing to do that? But, yeah…re-enactment is probably spot on.WD
The court room scene must be re-enacted. Sheree' has to use Phaedra, any other attorney would want to be paid, and you know that ain't happening. It will be only a matter of time before Sheree' starts bitching about how Phaedra represented her.Trust me on this one.NewJerzeyboy
I love your blog! Keep up the good work.
She rep Bobby in his child support case, on the other side, but still…I don't think they can keep camera's out of the court unless the judge has a good reason, they often record everything anyway with a court reporter, same thing right?…maybe not a camera crew but a camera on a tripod?
@Anonymous 9:15pmThe episode 12/18 description says .."tension grows between Sheree and Phaedra in the wake of a court battle"Seems like you're spot on LOL 🙂
y'all can look up court cases on line you know…http://www.fcclkjudicialsearch.org/CivilSearch/civfrmd.htmJust type in Whitefield, Sheree in the box. She was never represented in Fulton County Court by Phaedra.~naa
PS. I notice she has been in court on more occasions than just her divorce….
Here's the website of the lawyer who represented her.http://www.hanyardlaw.com/Looks like a nice lady. Sole law practice.
Something tells me some of y'all, and I'm looking at you N. Anderson don't know to click the link to read the whole article. It's all right there dear, no need for you to have gone to all that trouble.
I figure Sheree needs some kind of reason to be on the show (she doesn't have much of a story by herself) and her going after Bob for child support is it.I wonder what Bob is getting out of being on the show.
They have to be paying Bob because he'd be a fool look like a fool on TV for free. Or he could be the only one not acting on the show and really is a fool.
With friends like N. Anderson…lolSurely all the adults get paid, don't they?
Am I crazy? I've tried on two computers, but this post seems to end halfway through (and I am clicking through to read the rest…that's how I got to leave a comment.)
KJ was born on May 31, so the dates actually aren't too far apart.
I saw how MTO stole your story about Sheree's empty lot/home are owned by her mom but then want credit from anyone using the story…please!!!
As a lawyer myself, I just want to point out that, in the eyes of the law, all lawyers are generalists (except for a few very technical niches, like patent law). We can handle any type of case. Now Phaedra may usually handle certain kinds of cases, but that doesn't preclude her from doing a friend's divorce case, especially if it was a run-of-the-mill hearing or something. Not saying that it wasn't staged or whatev, just saying that, legally, Phaedra could've handled the case.
Kerry, I don't know what to tell you, I had some problems posting it and it looks like some things have fallen out of the story. Let me try to go fix it.And thanks to the Anon lawyer who commented. It seems like part of the story is missing. Sometimes when I copy things in from the clerk's office site it doesn't stay in the post. That missing information shows that Sheree's lawyer was someone other than Phaedra. And that there is a scene on the show with Phaedra acting in a court as her lawyer.
I guess I'm missing the point of Bob wanting to be portrayed in such a poor light unless he is really hurting for money. I was under the impression that he is doing okay for himself.
SO MAYBE I DO KNOW HOW TO READ AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO POST.:)
I'm so very sorry. I spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME in a dramatic hormona rage last night. I should be flogged. (don't throw me in the briar patch 🙂 )
I don't care where it's posted, I am not "clicking" any of those links.
um there are no links, dear. Just the one from the front page to the second page of this article here on this site.#isitjustme?
Lol at the paranoia. After watching twitter for a couple of weeks, I've concluded that a whole bunch of theses reality bloggers are completely insane.
Except for me,RIGHT? RIGHT? 😛
Kim's baby was born in May, not March.I attended the baby shower in April…she was still very much pregnant.
Yeah, May 31, not March 31. Typo!
Was the other courtroom scene staged where Phaedra was representing the guy with the weed bust. I can't believe a judge would say because I know you Phaedra I will let your client off. Then he pays her outside with cash. Was that staged?
Who knows? That was a real judge though. He recently announced his retirement.
