This photo by AJC photojournalist John Spink is a lovely distraction from the mess outside the fabulous Fox Theatre the past few days. Traffic has been shut down on part of Peachtree since Wednesday night and just reopened this morning due to the 2011 Soul Train awards which taped at the Fox last night.

Cynthia wore a thin sleeveless dress with black tights to greet the guests; but, she was frequently seen dashing to the side to warm up in a black jacket. The tights were a great choice not just for the wind chill, but it was very windy downtown yesterday.

Phaedra Parks-Nida and her husband Apollo Photo: V-103 |
Everybody knows, it ain’t a party without Phaedra Parks. Phaedra looked toned and amazing in a tight-fitting geometric patterned dress. I bet she was cold too as temperatures fell sharply yesterday afternoon but no one wanted to cover up their dresses. Is it just me or does Apollo look like a body guard lurking in the back.
Cynthia has got a bad wig on…uh oh. Everything else looks good. What is Phaedra wearing??? But dang her arms are fierce. I gotta go to the gym.
Do these women not check the weather channel?Glad Cynthia got the gig to do the red carpet. Married to Peter she needs to make all the money she can, since he just keeps spending it all on bars and supper clubs.
Phaedra looks amazing. She's one of the ones I think plays to the camera – makes it interesting and just enough over the top. Poor Cynthia is going to be doing modeling gigs in Russia to earn money when she's 60 to fund Peter's bad investments.WD
Phaedra is the ONLY one who gets it. And she gets it so well. And your joke is sad, but totally true re: Cynthia
