There was a lot of speculation this week over the status of the relationship between Vivica Fox and Slim White. Slim’s facebook status went from engaged to single recently, setting off a firestorm of rumors about just what happened. Yesterday on her show, Wendy Williams asked Kandi Burruss about their relationship. Kandi responded that things were great and she was looking forward to the wedding. Kandi was on the show promoting the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta with Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks. Wendy said today she asked all three of them backstage about the relationship and they all said things were fine. Really, Wendy that was the best you could do? You knew about the rumors. You could have scooped this yesterday! Meanwhile, did y’all see the tweets from Ne Ne while the show was airing yesterday? No tea, no shade, Lanetha, but you got yourself quite the belly full of haterade going there.
Last week Vivica and Slim were both at the Watch the Throne tour kickoff at Phillips Arena but apparently they came and left separately. Of course Ne Ne was there hanging around Vivica getting her picture made, which should surprise no one. So after days of speculation, it appears this ten month engagement has come to an end leaving us with one question, what will happen to that drop dead gorgeous ring?
Today, Slim gave an exclusive interview to TooFab clearing up the rumors by stating, “I’m highly intelligent, very wise and one thing I hate is negativity and drama. I hate arguing and I value communication, no matter what the problem may be. So as in any relationship, tension can build up and I finally had to walk away.” So, he is trying to say Vivica Fox is a diva? Who would have guessed that? Word around Peachtree Street is that Slim ain’t exactly camera shy himself and they he loves the spotlight. Slim says that their 19 year age difference had nothing to do with the breakup. I’m guessing it did. Slim wanted some babies and Vivica’s babymaker is not really up for all that. Why don’t you go hang with Kandi Burruss, Slim, she’s a good mommy type and into music like you. You’re welcome.
Vivica Fox has not released a statement at this time and is currently filming So This is Christmas in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So This is Christmas is directed by Richard Foster, a popular commercial photographer from Tulsa, who co-wrote and produced the film with his wife Deborah. They hope to see it in theaters by Christmas 2012.
"I am highly intelligent, very wise…" What a tool!
