RHONYramonabidetI admit it. I’ve gotten lazy during this whole Jodi Arias Trial. All I really had to do was put up a daily update and sit back and wait for folks to show up and discuss it to death in the comments. I suspect that a lot of my sources are busy with the trial too because there hasn’t been that much housewives stuff reported to me. To carry on with my lazy reporting, I’m going to do a hodge-podge of housewives updates here. RHONJtrefightdirtyYeah, Yeah, I heard about the big brawl in NJ last weekend. I have just not been feeling writing about the Real Housewives of New Jersey yet. I don’t know why, perhaps I have RHOBH overload. Or RHOA overload. I guess I need to gear up and get to talking about RHONJ and RHOOC.  So about last Saturday, it seems that Johnny the Greek (JTG) finally got the camera time he was seeking and now he wants to press charges. Really Johnny? Johnny is claiming he still has a stiletto mark on his forehead that Jacqueline left there.

The story among the RHONJ sources are a bit varied on this one. Here is the version I think is probably the closest to the truth. JTG (JTG) has been wanting to be on the show for quite some time. He is connected to the show through salon owner Penny who is friends with Tre.  The opening of the second Posche store was the setting for the scene. Yesterday there was a lot of coverage of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast at the official launch for Teresa’s haircare line, Milania Hair Care. The reports claimed that the Gorgas and the Giudices were greeting each other with kisses and hugs and posing happily for pictures together. It’s that special. So I contacted my RHONJ source to find out how this unexpected display of public affection occurred. It seems that everything is not as it appears.  This season it seems that most of the fighting occurs off camera and the RHONJ are trying to clean up their public image a bit.  However, they have not been 100% successful in their endeavors.

RHONJtrepeaceI’ve been getting lots of requests to talk about what is going on with the filming of Real Housewives of New Jersey. I’ve been hearing things for quite a while but not enough to warrant a blog. Now there is all of this ex-boyfriend of Melissa drama going on and I might as well try to sort of catch y’all up to speed. I warn you in advance it isn’t any shocking tea.  Let’s start where I left off last season. Remember this shocking post where I (at least temporarily) professed myself to be a Tre hugger?  I still believe that Tre was set up in Strippergate by production and that Jac Laurita was fully aware it was going to go down. It appears that a certain producer is no longer working on RHONJ. I also said that on the new season, Tre was going to get the good edit and the story arc would be Melissa getting a turn in the crappy edit chair. It turns out I was at least half right there.

I think New Jersey is about mid-way through filming and the hammer seems to be dropping on Melissa. Recently, an ex-boyfriend of Melissa’s has shown up on twitter and SHOCKINGLY RadarOnline has picked up the story. The guy is named Bryan and he claims to have been Melissa’s boyfriend before Melissa married Joe.  I should point out that Melissa got married almost 8 years ago in 2004.  Isn’t it interesting that this guy turns up on the season where Melissa has been cast as the villain?  Basically this guys tweets say that Melissa lived with him and his parents while working at Lookers and at some point his father threw her out of the house. He claims Melissa hid in bushes and stalked him. He also says that Melissa gave him an ultimatum to stop seeing other women or “she would marry the millionaire.”  This is supposed to paint Melissa as money hungry. Really? Is this news? Find me a housewife that didn’t consider finances when marrying these “rich” people.  Continue reading »

On Wednesday, Naughty But Nice Rob posted a story about Teresa Giudice attending a Madonna concert. He mentioned Tre dining with Dana Levine , the founder of Nephcure and other friends before the concert. The “tea” was presented as Tre wanting to get a backstage pass to meet Madonna and being unable to do so. Not particularly interesting or shocking. Despite what you may have read elsewhere, the rumors about the Real Housewives of New Jersey casting shakeups are untrue. I have an independent source on RHONJ and know the facts. First of all, filming has not started yet. I know you’ve heard that Bravo wanted to capitalize on the Sandy superstorm drama but that’s simply untrue. One producer with one hand-held camera shot some video at the Sandy Relief Drive in Union, NJ last Saturday.  The entire Manzo family and Jacqueline have been working tirelessly on relief efforts since the storm began. It’s NOT a Bravo storyline, it’s just that they are decent people. Y’all know I am a Caroline fan so let’s keep it classy in the comments. This is a huge disaster up there and not something that should be trivialized by our Bravo bashing. There will be other threads for bashing any RHONJ you’d like. But this is not the one.

Teresa Giudice’s Father is in the Hospital Again

For at least the second time in a month or so Teresa’s father is back in the hospital. We know from watching the show he has had ongoing health issues since the show began. Last Sunday, Gorga Sr. was admitted to the hospital once again and is still there under observation.  Teresa has cancelled her appearances the last day or two to spend time in the hospital with her dad. I hope that during this crisis she and her brother and their spouses can be if not supportive of one another at least civil and that her father has a speedy recovery.

Fine. I’ll sit up and blog this one last episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. But I ain’t happy about it. Andy wants to address the gay slurs again. Because insulting gays is bad. But making multiple shows with people degrading women is called making a living. Oh Teresa, “Everyone laughed. It was funny.” Joe looks bad enough. You are not helping.

Then they pitted Team Tre against Team Caroline in a truck pulling contest. Team Caroline won. This footage should have stayed lost. Maybe the next segment will be the lost scenes of Tre looking smart and misunderstood. Nope. Toilet humor. Why am I watching this?

Jacqueline Laurita is giving parenting advice to Teresa Giudice on national TV. Jac says she learned to “take some time out of her busy schedule once in a while to spend time with her kids” when she was raising Ashley. That must have been once in a very short while if her tweeting schedule this past year is any indication. Just today, one of the few days she doesn’t have Nick shipped of to extensive ABA training, she went and got a facial. I guess she needed a little me time. I don’t care how out of control Tre’s kids are, she spends way more time with her kids that Jac does despite being  at a million appearances. Continue reading »

Joe Giudice Cheating on Teresa? Shocker!

This is sort of a non-story story I think, but I’m going to post about it and see what y’all think. Radar Online has some pictures from September 23, just a couple weeks after the Real Housewives  of New Jersey Reunion was filmed, that they allege show Joe Giudice cheating on a trip to Atlantic City. Teresa was at an appearance making the money for Joe to gamble with in North Carolina that evening. Say it ain’t so, Joe! I don’t think anyone saw this one coming! Okay, seriously, I think it is pretty obvious that Joe cheats on Tre.  The thing is, this story is not overy convincing.
