Now that Tareq Salahi has reached some kind of financial arrangement with Neal Schon concerning the rights to intimacy with his ex-wife, it seems the three have all made up. Don’t you just love happily-ever-afters? The undisclosed financial agreement was the last obstacle to the divorce which was finalized last Tuesday. Now, as Neal and Michaele wallow around in the surf, Tareq is focused on his gubernatorial ambitions in the great Commonwealth of Virginia.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch:
On Wednesday, Salahi issued a news release that might be a first for a Virginia gubernatorial campaign. In bold type he announced: “Salahi thanks Neal Schon of Journey & Michaele for sending best wishes for the Virginia governor’s race!”
Salahi also invited Virginians to a campaign kickoff party and fundraiser at his Warren County home. The statement says Salahi “welcomes you to crash his BBQ September 16!”
For $15 NOTE: This event will include pyrotechnics and will be filmed for a new television show.”
Absolutely nothing says I’m a serious candidate for governor like filming your campaign for a reality TV proposal and a bunch of cool-ass pyrotechnics. Also running for governor is Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli who sued Salahi and his winery on behalf of the state claiming that he cheated customers who bought winery tours. He has also settled a suit with Salahi for making false statements in regard to a charity foundation Salahi ran. This should be fun. The election is next year.
The couple that single-handedly kept the Real Housewives of D.C. from having a prayer at another season, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, are officially divorced. Last week, Michaele’s new man, Neal Schon and Tareq agreed to a fair price for Michaele and the transaction was completed, ending Tareq’s 50 million dollar lawsuit against Neal. I assume he settled for much less than that. The settlement is sealed but I’m guessing Tareq got a year’s supply of Five Guys burgers. The pair made national headlines while filming RHODC when they actually crashed a White House dinner resulting in the firing of the White House social secretary.
Tareq must have gotten a glimpse of the good life of politicians. As I recall the winery he was running for his mother went bankrupt under his direction and he faced some criminal charges regarding the sale of fraudulent wine tours. Tareq has now officially cast his hat into the ring to run for the governor of Virginia. Don’t stop believin’ Tareq!
First Reality Tea tweets that Tareq Salahi is running for Governor of Virginia, and then someone directs me to this Journey video. I don’t know which is a bigger spectacle. Apparently the video was released on Valentine’s Day which upset the ever sensitive Tareq causing him to file a lawsuit against the Journey guy whose name is Schlong or he is accused of sending Tareq a picture of his schlong or something. Um, and nothing against Filipino people but who is that Filipino guy? This is not the Journey I remember. Please watch the video and sit next to me and tell me how ridiculous this whole thing is. I’m perplexed and a bit nauseated.
