Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman were at Perimeter Mall today filming their new movie Identity Theft. Seth Gordon, who directed Horrible Bosses directs this comedy in which McCarthy’s character steals the identity of Bateman’s character and hilarity ensues. Amanda Peet also stars in the movie.  The film was initially about a man stealing another man’s identity. Bateman, who is a producer as well as star of the film, had the script rewritten for McCarthy after seeing her on Bridesmaids. McCarthy was inundated with offers after her academy award nominated performance and chose Identity Theft as her next project. Let’s hope it’s as funny as it sounds.
