housewivesjerseyTime for the Real Housewives of New Jersey Recap and I am already pausing and backing up to make sure I just heard what I heard. Teresa is talking about Gia’s 12th birthday party. She invited 65 kids and it’s her first co-ed party. But that is not the issue. Tre just said to her in her talking head, “When she gets old enough I am taking her to the doctor and if she is not a virgin I am disowning her.” So already we are off and running with Teresa saying inappropriate things. I guess that is why she get paid the big bucks. She has invited her brother and Melissa and the kids.

Time for a Jacqueline scene. The new plan is to drop the kid into a hyperbaric chamber. And, I’m out. Check out the “research” on hyperbaric chambes here. It’s mostly used for autistic kids that have major seizure disorder as a last resort.  Essentially more “fad” treatments by Jacqueline who doesn’t have the literary comprehension to understand autism research. At least for now it looks like old Jac and Chris Manzo will not have to live in a van down by the river. According to TMZ a settlement has been reached that will stop the foreclosure proceedings on their house, at least for now. The couple’s loan agreement with the bank including a stipulation that if even one payment was missed the entire balance could be called due immediately. They missed a payment in April and the bank did exactly that. It would seem that these sort of clauses are included in contracts for those with poor credit ratings. Somehow, they have coughed up enough money to stop the bank from foreclosing. But that is not the end to their problems. Continue reading »

It’s time for episode two of this season’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. Who will be the biggest spectacle tonight? We start with Tre’s kids who I LOVE to watch. I could just sit and watch them all day. They are all a hot mess. Milania is 6 and cooking on the stove (with minor “supervision” from Tre) Gia is mocking her and one of the better behaved girls is just sort of sitting back watching the show. Tre tells the girls a little story about how in the olden days, she was expected to act like a human and behave in a civilized manner at the dinner table. The kids are rightly confused by this entire story. I would fully expect one of them to ask what “manners” are but I don’t see them as listening that intently. They are mostly busy back talking. Meanwhile, while making cards for their grandfather who is about to have a pacemaker put it in, Milania points out that if his heart stops beating he will die. Tre looks shocked by this bit of medical knowledge, and Gia is visibly upset. Continue reading »

RHONJcallRemember when I said that it only took Teresa six minutes on the premiere of RHONJ to say that her marriage is just fabulous?  I found that whole talking head terribly out of place because the scene at the time was about Hurricane Sandy. It was like, “I’m gonna donate some of these here old sparkly things I don’t need and by the way, my husband and I are doing fantastic!” I also spilled some exclusive tea back in February about Teresa accusing Albert and Chris and Richard of cheating this season. I actually didn’t spill too much because I am a Caroline fan and I am hoping they don’t show all of this on the new season, but it appears they will. Anyway, Remember back on the last reunion when Jacqueline said that Tre walked in with the nanny?  Well…she’s back!

RHONJposheSorry bad weather here. Started two minutes late. I lost my satellite and didn’t even notice the time. Sadly, I missed the opening! Even sadder, we are starting with the Hurricane Sandy stuff. I am not sure I really want to see all this. I kind of freaked out while this was going on because one of my knuckleheads lives in Jersey and was MIA for quite a while.

Melissa and Joe’s place looks fairly good on the outside. Their house is partially stone. They have driven past so many houses with tons of ruined furniture in the yard. The inside of the house is bad. Furniture overturned and moved into heaps by the ocean. Tre’s house is even worse. How is it possible that all the sheetrock has been stripped from the walls. Has some restoration already started by the time this was shot or could the storm actually do that? Yeah, the work crew is always there. So are both Joe and Tre spouting some silver lining about the storm being good for the economy because it provides lots of work. WTF? Am I the only one who finds that…odd? Offensive even? RHONJposheOkay, this is a strange show. It’s a one on one with all of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Only it’s not sequential, or all together, it’s them each talking to Andy about a subject and then the answers are sort of interspersed with each other. It’s two or more sides to a story, and then suddenly there is a new topic, more flip-flopping between interested parties and some video footage in between. It’s rather frantic and disjointed, so this blog will be as well. It’s not exactly a blow-by-blow but it is pretty detailed. I hope it makes sense.

Andy starts with Kathy and asks about growing up with Teresa and Joe as cousins. She said she is older than they are and to her (and Rosie) they were just like little dolls. Teresa was just like Milania. Then, they show that part of Tre’s interview and she says there were long periods of times they did not speak (the two families, I assume). RHONJjachowdareyouIf you thought Stiletto Gate 2013 was bad, things just keep getting worse for Jacqueline Laurita. If you did not read the Stiletto Gate post, you missed a good one if I do say so myself. You should if nothing else go look at the shoes, which I understand do not actually exist but are part of some project, but still. Anyway, we have been hearing about the financial problems of Jac and Chris for quite some time now. Possible bankruptcy, lawsuits galore from a variety of sources including I believe their prior business improprieties and also misappropriations of some funds to a cancer charity if I recall correctly. stilettoI blame Jodi Arias for being woefully behind on Stiletto Gate 2013©. I am sure most of you are up to date and I am sort of writing this for myself, but I can’t skip over a good courtroom drama! Since John Karagiorgis (aka Johnny the Greek) pressed charges against Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita and Jacqueline Gorga last week this week that trio was in court demanding the same charges for JtG! Let’s look at what they told the judge.

According to a recent article on NorthJersey.com , “Jacqueline Laurita testified that Karagiorgis was “asked not to attend” the March 30 event in Ridgewood, ‘but showed up anyway with a bodyguard,’ who she said appeared to be armed.” Wait what? You are testifying under oath that you and a couple of other guys jumped a guy with an armed bodyguard and clobbered him with a stiletto? Oh lord. These housewives tell such ridiculous lies in court. RHONJtrefightdirtyYeah, Yeah, I heard about the big brawl in NJ last weekend. I have just not been feeling writing about the Real Housewives of New Jersey yet. I don’t know why, perhaps I have RHOBH overload. Or RHOA overload. I guess I need to gear up and get to talking about RHONJ and RHOOC.  So about last Saturday, it seems that Johnny the Greek (JTG) finally got the camera time he was seeking and now he wants to press charges. Really Johnny? Johnny is claiming he still has a stiletto mark on his forehead that Jacqueline left there.

The story among the RHONJ sources are a bit varied on this one. Here is the version I think is probably the closest to the truth. JTG (JTG) has been wanting to be on the show for quite some time. He is connected to the show through salon owner Penny who is friends with Tre.  The opening of the second Posche store was the setting for the scene. That store is connected to or part of Penny’s hair salon. Continue reading »
