Leann Rimes Wants Your Sympathy

leann1Just a few thoughts on the Leann Rimes interview. First of all, she met Giuliana Rancic because G made a comment on her reality show that Leann did not appreciate. When opening the Chicago restaurant someone asked G what celebrity she would like to feed at the new restaurant and she replied along the lines of “Leann Rimes looks like she could use a meal.” So Leann contacts her through twitter to attempt to change her mind about her. Sound familiar? That’s the same thing that happened with this teacher that she is suing for mean tweeting her.

The fact that both women have pulled their hair all the way around to one side is very distracting to me all of a sudden. I want to know who changed theirs to match. I would guess Leann copied G but I can’t be bothered to go back and look. Leann has a tendency to copy other people’s looks and bikinis… Anyway she going on and on about her parents divorce and her father managing her career. Leann uses a lot of cliches, sometimes incorrectly in an unusual way. She is one of those people who says “like” a lot. She talks about herself in the third person. I’m bored. Continue reading »

Yesterday I was just not in blogger mode. I thought about blogging about Brandi Glanville’s tabloid war with Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes but I just felt sort of meh. About it. As it continues to be ongoing, and y’all keep asking about it, I’ll tackle it today. It just seems so…LONG. Plus it opens the door to a whole new league of crazy commenters and we are well past quota on that without inviting the Leann Rimes crazies to the party. But in the spirit of there can never be too much crazy, let’s talk about it.

Ever since Leann ran off with Brandi’s husband, married him, and proceeded to pretend she is the mother to Brandi’s two boys there has been obvious tension between Brandi and Leann. Leann spends a lot of time on twitter tweeting about Eddie and the boys which lead to rabid fans of Brandi and rabid fans of Leann spending their lives fighting with each other. Leann fans were leaking stories to Radar Online, in August Leann was encouraging fans to harass Brandi and even began calling Brandi fans on the phone trying to change their minds.  This eventually led to Leann going to “rehab” for her twitter addiction.  Of course Brandi was asked about the situation in every interview and for a while she was taking the high road. The Leann Rimes Story: Another Twitterverse Victory?

California has more than its fair share of crazy, delusional attention whores.  Twitter has more than its fair share of crazy, delusional shut-ins with no life who enjoy watching the crazy, delusional attention whores in California. Both of these things in isolation would not be a problem were in not for the attention whores in California deciding to mix with the twitterverse.  What the crazy delusional attention whores don’t get is that there is a subset of the twitterverse that spends their days and nights trying to cause pain to the attention whores. Perhaps because they are getting so much attention.

Some of the twitter people start hate blogs specifically to defame and harm others.  Until recently, when Jill Zarin was fired by Bravo, there was quite a large website whose mission it was to harass Jill and spread hate. While that site was the largest, it was not the only hate site for housewives, there were other smaller ones for Bethenny Frankel and other bloggers who focused the majority of their blogging time hating Taylor Armstrong. While it is true that the majority of sites that discuss reality TV poke fun at the cast of misfits who are cast, most do so by pointing out the scripted stupidity. We mock people who choose to put their atrocious behavior in the public eye. Part and parcel of being on a reality show is the judgement of the public. We disagree with each other. We argue over who is the victim and who is the shit stirrer. We talk amongst ourselves about who we like and who we don’t. Who we love and who we love to hate.

LeAnn Rimes Goes to Rehab

TMZ is reporting that LeAnn Rimes has gone into a 30 day rehab to learn to deal with stress and anxiety.  Her PR reps told People.com “LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope  with anxiety and stress. While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to  learn and develop coping mechanisms.” Apparently, her previous coping mechanisms of running around the world half-naked and posing for cameras, harassing Brandi Glanville, and generally being a media whore didn’t work out well for her. Shocking!

LeAnn issued a statement saying, “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care  of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can  be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you  know what? I’m hoping they’re not going to affect me as much … I’ll have the  tools to know how to deal with them.” Turning thirty is hard y’all.

I wonder what this is really all about. Trying to rehab her image after spending the last year damaging her reputation and whatever is left of her career? Seeking attention from Eddie whose eye may already be wandering? Something is up because anxiety disorders rarely need a 30-day hospitalization to be treated. Anorexia, maybe. What do y’all think is going on here?

Update: Apparently she will be out of rehab on weekends to “tour” so that she doesn’t disappoint her fans. Which is a crock. Also, there has been a lot of speculation online about Leann and Adderall. I’m gonna call it now that she doesn’t make the 30-days even with the weekends off.

Brandi Glanville’s Loser Ex and Skank Responsible for False ROL Story

Ever since Radar Online was mentioned on the RHOBH reunion, I started to pay more attention to their stories. So when I wrote the post about Brandi being given a full-time spot as a “housewife” on the show based on their article, I felt pretty comfortable using them as a source. Then things started going downhill. They recently posted a story about Lisa Vanderpump being a diva on the set of RHOBH and how Taylor was so upset by Lisa’s diva behavior. It was utter crap, it read like utter crap and it made me think that the Brandi post was utter crap. Lisa has not even acknowledged whether or not she is actually filming RHOBH right now. I’m still not convinced she is. Lisa tweeted yesterday that she was “home from diva school” which was clearly a jab at the ROL story. Brandi never confirmed that she was a “housewife” and everything regarding what, if anything, these two women are filming for RHOBH remains unconfirmed. Although Brandi did retweet a story saying she was a full housewife for the season currently filming.

Then today, ROL posted a story about her being back to “friend of the housewives” status because “Leann and Eddie” have objections. The phrasing of that alone made my blood boil. First, Leann’s name shouldn’t even be in the sentence let alone first. Leann doesn’t have any standing in whether or not Brandi’s kids are on the show or not. Leann is a little twat that is a waste of oxygen. The only way she can get any media to pay attention to her is to harass Brandi. She’s a sorry excuse for a human as is the dimple-faced pathetic excuse for a male she seems so pleased to be with.

So ROL is today saying that Bravo rescinded the contract. That is false. Bravo gets whatever they want in the contract before it is signed. Either she has a contract or she doesn’t. Brandi is landing in Louisville, Kentucky at the moment to host a Kentucky Derby related fundraiser. She did tweet that the ROL story is false and that they didn’t get it right in the first or the last article about her work relationship with Bravo. So that combined with the Lisa Vanderpump story ends any sort of credibility I have for their RHOBH stories. But what is even more wrath inducing to Brandi fans is that Brandi admits on twitter that the story came out shortly after a conversation she had with Eddie. Clearly, once again, one of Leann’s foul friends called in the story that Leann is somehow protecting Brandi’s kids from reality television. What a bitch she is.

Meanwhile, Brandi is telling us on twitter that “Bravo rocks” so clearly she is happy with her situation whatever it may be. I can’t imagine what it must be like to give birth to children and then have to send them off with their sorry excuse for a father and some trashbox who calls herself their “bonus mom” while trashing their mother all over the Internet. I hope the weather holds up for the rooftop derby party tonight and Brandi can just kick back and enjoy herself and ignore the drama for awhile. It will be interesting to read the reports on the party especially if she took a Bravo camera crew with her.
