So correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Jenelle just have a baby? And she immediately parcels out all of the kids to go on a romantic trip to the mountains with Baby Daddy 3? I’m already irritated and we are like thirty seconds in to the episode. At least we get to see the little donut with Nathan. At a restaurant with great views of the Smokey Mountains, they talk briefly about what a great couple they are and then start trashing Barbara again. Jenelle is already concerned that Barbara will not be happy about the engagement and won’t be interested in helping her plan her wedding. Jenelle doesn’t understand why Barbara doesn’t celebrate all of her stupid decisions.
Later, Jace comes over to meet Ensley. He seems underwhelmed. Jace is apparently having behavior problems at school. I can’t imagine why. He is also hitting Barbara. Apparently, a therapist asked him if he felt bad for hitting her and he said no. Barbara thinks Jace needs some kind of treatment beyond therapy. Later, Jace hits the donut and his other half-brother. He just socks them for no reason.
It is no surprise to me that Ali’s condition is getting worse. I have noticed that she doesn’t wear her helmet when she should and she continues to fall a lot. It’s sad to see such a young girl with so many health struggles.
Leah’s friend is trying to get her to start selling lipstick online. I suppose it couldn’t hurt. It’s better than baby clothes. I would do anything for someone to bring me that cup of latte that Leah is drinking when her ex calls to say Ali is too tired to go to tumbling class. Should she even be in tumbling in the first place? It seems like tumbling is what they should be trying to avoid.
I cannot imagine Leah’s schedule. It exhausts me to watch her shuffle all the girls around.
Nova pleads with Brianna to have her hair straightened and gets lectures by all her family about the beauty of curly hair and all the work involved in straightening kinky hair. Brianna’s mom seems to be hinting that Nova needs to spend time with the black women in her family.
Brianna invites Nova’s dad over for a chat. They decide that Nova needs to spend more time with the black side of her family.
Life is all sunshine and unicorns. Adam is still an issue. He is taking both mothers of his kids to court to reduce child support. That makes sense because he is no longer on the show so he has had a significant change in income. Paisley’s mom has required drug tests prior to all visitations for Adam. I think Chelsea should ask him to sign over his parental rights. He would probably be fine with it. It would not hurt to ask. Adam cancelled his hearing. Adam has failed his drug tests and he has disappeared. He’s on meth and other amphetamines.
So we live in a world today where if someone says something to you that you don’t like, or sends ten emails in a row, you run to court and clog of the already overburdened system with petty nonsense. PFA’s are to protect someone from abuse. There are a lot of people who actually need these things. Javi would never hurt Kail and she is being ridiculous and petty.
We finally hear Javi’s side of the story and apparently he was not even texting her. He was arguing with her on Twitter about why he is the absolute last person to know she is pregnant. She just had the kid recently. It’s another boy. Javi says her filing the ridiculous PFA could cause him to get a dishonorable discharge from the military. Kail is really trying to sabotage his life.
Kail says he just shows up all the time. I believe the times Javi just showed up was when they were still married and he still had the legal right to be at the house where she was shacking up with her next Baby Daddy. I am not really clear on what the court did. There were no findings of abuse. However, Javi signed a consensual PFA saying he will have no contact with her that does not involve Lincoln.
Lots of sad stuff on this episode, all the way around.
