Once again I was just sent a misleading headline. But first let’s talk about me and how I probably have dementia.
When I was in college, I was a copious notetaker. As longwinded with my lecture notes (that I rewrote more often than not after class to clean them up a bit) as I am with my posts here most of the time. I heard a joke my freshman year of college that ended up serving me well. It was, “What is the difference between a graduate student and an undergrad?” When the professor walks into class and says, “good afternoon!” the undergraduates say, “good afternoon!” The graduate students writes it down.
After a test once, there was a question that on a topic that was not covered. I went back through my copius notes and there was not a single mention of the topic. My professor was adamant that he mentioned. He did not. I did not argue. Later, when I taught college myself, I realized that we give the same test to each class period and that some classes move at different paces, thus there will be things some classes do not get to.
Which is what I am thinking about now. Because I distinctly remember writing a post about Tamra’s apparent marital crisis. I thought I explained all of this in my post here about her extensive plastic surgery to her face less than a month ago. Apparently I did not. I must have overshared with one or more emailer about her martial crisis and thought I was done with this subject.
But Tamra and Eddie Judge had a vow renewal on Tuesday August 8th. This is important because it was the same day that she was dismissing the feelings of her estranged daughter and calling Gretchen Rossi a “piece of shit with a sad empty childless life.”
Shortly after that drama she posted, “Celebrating love ❤️ with all the hate that’s going on. May God bless your life because it’s not always easy. But God has a plan.. a big plan. I wanna say thank you to @shannonbeador @oclydia@rhoc_kellyddodd (you know what you did and you all rock) #arubaido”
But here is the thing. This “vow renewal” was a promotional event sponsored by the Aruba Tourism council. They were paid to advertise it on Instagram which Tamara did a couple of weeks ago and their airfare and hotel were included as part of the deal. Tourism to Aruba suffered a lot when Americans started ended up missing and dead while on spring break.
So does it actually count if you are being paid to renew your vows?
I mean I suppose it couldn’t hurt. Lisa Vanderpump recently started pushing the diuretic tea and crappy sunglasses on Instagram. Apparently, times are tough in California.
That said, they obvious were not spending their time in Aruba in coital hetrosexual bliss. Tamra literally spent all day on social media arguing with housewives. So did Eden Sassoon if you missed all that. It was quite the day.
In other news, Joyce Giraud and her husband Mihael Ohoven renewed their vows as well. However, they do it every single year. This is their 8th renewal. Both of their Instagrams are full of photos of them hiking and going to the beach and getting married for the eighth time. Seems a bit different to me than Tamra and Eddie’s Instagrams…
