The Real Housewives Of Potomac Discussion Post

RHOP Golf

I should have an actual recap up for you by tomorrow, but in the mean time, here is what to look forward to on tonight’s episode of RHOP,  S1/E8: All Shades Of Shade

“Gizelle’s inner entrepreneur takes center stage, but the shade is real when Katie blows off a focus group for her budding makeup line. Juan and Robyn take a romantic trip down memory lane, making her more confused than ever about the state of their relationship. Karen launches a charity event close to her heart, but Ashley and Michael must get “on par” before they are welcome in her home. And will Karen push Ashley one-step too far?”

Oh and in case you missed it, here’s a blind item…  that may or may not be relevant to tonight’s episode.

In regards to Karen – what is up with her hairline? Is it just me or does she look like her hairline starts way back in the middle of her head? I realize that there are plenty of weaves, wigs and extensions going on but to me that just proves even more that she should have a “normal” hairline.

I don’t know why but I don’t believe Robyn’s story that a friend stole all their money. She comes up with this *after* Ashley reveals on camera that they’re bankrupt? She’s just trying to paint herself in a better light.

I think I read a blind item somewhere about something like this….. *big wink*

I’m not sure if TT’s blind item was alluding to much of the “stolen” money being in the ceiling. I guess I assumed they actually *did* lose most of their money somehow, and hid the rest.

    • I believe her. That happens to a lot of celeberties who trust their accounts or managers which are sometimes relatives or very close friends, or get caught up in ponsie screams The worst part about this is when the friend was getting ready to go to trial he killed himself.

Money is the root to all evil and end of friendships.

  3. Does anyone else get the feeling that the one married to the coach has a “thing” with the Champs and not in a Jeff Lewis/ Heather kind of way; more a Brani/Kim kind of way?

Ha ha ha that someone once asked Karen if she’s a drag queen!!!

  5. I feel like I need to got to finishing school everytime I watch that show. hehe Like Karen is going to point out everything said or done as WRONG. What did she go before she as married, did she own an etiquette school or something? We should all have good manners and some home training but why feel the need to put grown folks in check all the time, just choose your friends wisely or stop associating with those who are not up to your standards of so called good etiquette. I don’t blame Ashley or any of the ladies when they feel a certain way being talked to like a child being bad and in need of discipline. Really!

LOL, brooks86 – could just imagine Karen in the “A League of Their Own”… now gracefully & grandly :)

She has zero credibility, the rudest thing of all is to point out someone else’s faux pas. If she had any actual class she would know that.

EXACTLY!! It’s like the number one rule in Miss Manners! You never mention other people’s etiquette or manners! Handing someone a list of rules in public goes beyond bad manners to just straight up aggressively rude.

Yes! Love how you said that Artist….I was trying to state that very fact. She finds something wrong with everyone. She is judgmental and her judgments seems to be arbitrary in that you never know what exactly someone says or does will set her off. When Karen told Ashley at her O Gala whatever the hell that is that she was “done with her” I was shocked. Who publicly attacks their guest like that in front of a group of other women. There is absolutely nothing likable about Karen and that other woman with the long blonde hair with three girls.

I lived right out of DC and in Arlington, VA for around 10 years. I have never met anyone who lives in the Potomac area to behave the way these ladies act. In fact, I’ve never met anyone who acts like these women in general in the past 6 decades of life.

Karen is horrible. How can one woman be so vile?

  7. Shellbelle

I wants to drop kick Karen every time she says the word “fabalas” instead of fabulous. I wish someone would correct her on that. Also, will the black Bill Gates please let her buy some curtains?
