Todd Tucker did his first Bravo Blog yesterday! Let’s talk about the he said, she said blogging about Carmon.
Bravotv.com: Were you surprised by the slow start and lack of enthusiasm from the team?
Todd: I was very surprised at the slow start as they are all getting paid a weekly wage. I felt like if you’re not excited because you’re helping Kandi with her dream wedding, then at least do what your paid to do.
Bravotv.com: Did you think Carmon was going to take your critiques so personally?
Todd: I wasn’t surprised that Carmon took my critiques so personally. She has a problem separating the business and the personal when it comes to her job. That’s why I think it’s not a good idea to hire friends or family to work directly for you.
Bravotv.com: Do you think that Carmon overreacted to the situation?
Todd: Carmon overreacted, but that’s what happens when you can’t separate the business and the personal!
Bravotv.com: Do you think Carmon did the right thing by quitting?
Todd: I think whenever you don’t like your job and you’re not going to be a positive force within the work place, then you should quit. Carmon is not going anywhere; she always quits and comes back the following Monday like nothing happened.
Bravotv.com: Was Carmon’s reaction to Todd’s concerns about the wedding planning surprising to you?
Kandi: No. Carmon doesn’t take criticism well. She doesn’t want to hear it. In her mind she’s never wrong. I’m used to Carmon’s attitude, so nothing she says or does is surprising to me.
Bravotv.com: Do you think Carmon overreacted about the conversation with Todd? Why do you think she was so upset?
Kandi: She says that Todd was being mean for no reason, and she felt like he was speaking for me. She was like, if you wanted to fire me, you should’ve done it and not send Todd to do your dirty work. I did not ask Todd to do anything for me. If I wanted to fire her, I would’ve told her. She just got sensitive and over reacted.
Bravotv.com: Has your relationship with Carmon improved now that she no longer works for you?
Kandi: She still works for me… LOL! I told her she could work for me as she looked for something else, but it doesn’t seem like she’s looking for anything, LOL! That’s what happens when your friends work for you.
Am I the only one that thinks the blog comments about Carmon are a little harsh?
