Ever since I posted that Porsha was fired from RHOA the Porsha stans have been blowing up my twitter saying it’s not true and trying to comment here in broken ebonics about her being the smartest person they know. When I finally addressed the bullshit rumors that people made up about the RHOA all banding together to save Porsha’s job, the Porsha stans on twitter nearly lost their damn minds. I can’t fathom anyone taking that rumor seriously other than the folks that think Porsha is a smart businesswoman.
So maybe, just maybe these fans can come to a place of acceptance if they hear a bit of news straight from the horse’s mouth. Today Essence ran an exclusive with Nene in which she talks about the physical assault on Kenya that happened at the reunion. And, um, I TOLD YOU SO!
What do you say to rumors that the cast is threatening to leave if Porsha is fired?
I don’t know where that came from. I’ve never said that. We don’t group up together to do much. You know all of us aren’t goosing up together to be going to bat for Porsha. We don’t collectively do anything.
So there was definitely a fight?
Oh, there was a fight. In my opinion, [Kenya] provoked her. She continuously put something in her face. Porsha was really upset by it. At the reunion she repeatedly [said]Porsha is dumb, and, just all kinds of things that. She felt belittled and she really had enough.
The “something” she put in her face was a scepter. Kenya wore a crown and carried a scepter and referred to herself as the new queen of RHOA. The scepter is apparently the new fan. And Porsha should be used to being called dumb by now. Pretty much everyone she encounters points out her stupidity. She managed to drive the point home even farther by assaulting Kenya.
There are rumors that you said wanted Kenya off the show.
I don’t like Kenya. TMZ or somebody caught me one night coming out of Mr. Chows and I said, just jokingly, they need to get Kenya off the show. But seriously, I understand the reality world. There has to be a cuckoo bird. That is the entertainment so as far as The Housewives is concerned, whether I’m on the show or off the show, I always will support the show. I wanna see the show do very well, and I think Kenya brings an element to the show and they should have.
There you have it. The only interesting thing to those of us who read all this information here last week is Nene’s comment about “whether she is on the show or off the show.” And I think that is just what she does when contract time is upon us. Suddenly she knows how to play the game.
