First of all, Andrew is sporting a full on beard. I am not sure how I feel about this. The drinking word is ‘railroad’ and with that, the shade begins. Josh and Porsha are flirting! It’s cute. Andy plays the underground railroad scene for Porsha to respond to. She looks VERY uncomfortable and says, “First of all, I’d like to say, when I watched that, I realized that was another ‘Porsha Moment’ you know, a little airy there, brain lapse, but you know, unlike when I saw myself say 265 where I thought, okay, it’s funny, I was already nervous…I felt like I definitely needed to correct that even for myself. What I did was I went back and brushed up on what I already know… you know one thing about it,..that’s a very sensitive topic for me… I just want to make sure that at all times I am sensitive with it, so I went back and I read up on the underground railroad… and everything else because I do want to represent that part of my life, and my legacy better than I did so, Yeah.”
Andy asks her if she believed it was an actual underground railroad, like the subway. She says, ” You know at that moment we were all trying to figure something out and my brain was just going so fast and it was going faster than I was speaking so I literally just couldn’t get it together at that moment, but you know, like I said , I went back and I got my facts together.” Um, huh? The audience is laughing at her and Josh is trying his best to keep a straight face and Andy is just slack jawed.
Questions for Porsha: What prompted you to call Kordell in Savannah? Well um as you could see that was a very sensitive time for everybody. I was in the middle of the divorce at that time and I had not spoken to Kordell at all. I wanted to be sure I had done everything I could so I put on my big boy panties and called him.
Andy asks her if she has spoken to him since the show started airing because he can’t imagine he is thrilled with the stuff being said about him. Porsha says “Well he is on the show. He came back on and expressed himself.” So I guess we will be seeing him on the show he swore he would never come back on.
How has your relationship with Kenya changed? Porsha says their relationship is so-so. She says it is a bit of a roller coaster.
Why the hell do you need a six bedroom house by yourself, and how are you paying for it? Porsha says, “Well first, because I am fabulous. And I want to keep the fabulocity going. So I jumped out there and I believe in me so if you don’t believe in yourself who will? So you will have to keep watching to see if I keep making it work.
At the end she is asked how she feels about her portrayal this season. She’s fine with it, she’s just being herself. And how she feels about the rumors that Kordell is dating Towanda Braxton. She says if that makes him happy, it’s fine with her. She likes Towanda.
Game Time! History or RUN DMC? Josh will recite a line to Porsha and she will have to decide if it was said by an important historical figure or RUN DMC. I have not see a bit of this yet and I already know this will be epic.
“Any Eye for an Eye Only Ends Up Making the Whole World Blind.” Porsha says RUN DMC um, nope, that was Gandhi, who I would venture to guess Porsha has never heard of.
“I come again and win and you will never see an man like me, your Idol.” Porsha says RUN DMC. And she is correct.
“For Every Race, Place, Color, Country, County or Creed.” RUN DMC. She got it with help from Andy.
“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.” Porsha says… hmmm that’s not Run DMC…. Groban says, “You’re right! It’s Martin Luther King.
“A pint of sweat saves a gallon of blood.” Porsha says Run DMC WRONG! That was General Patton.
“Because of all the things I bring with me, only God could be a king to me.” She gets RUN DMC correct.
