Wasn’t it amazing that yesterday Jodi just answered the damn questions without any of the smartassy comments or drama or crying? The questions are being asked in the order the jury dropped them in the bucket so we should be getting to the actual murder questions today. It seems the jury had even more questions yesterday so this could go on forever! I feel like Martinez must be thrilled with the content of the questions. He only objected to four out of the first 100 I believe. IF we can avoid the technical issues today (who knew there was an older gentleman with a hearing device?) we should clip through these at fast rate.

I am super impressed with the state-of-the-art electronics of this Courtroom! I am guessing that all the Jurors are provided with (wireless?) headphones so they don’t miss a whisper. (One of the JA Mom/Aunt combo sometimes uses one–headphones and a receiver on a neck cord???) I love the little slidey microphone on the front of the Judge’s desk that gets cat and moused back and forth during “side-bars”!—this audio is going to the Court Reporter in front of the Witness (sometime witless) Box.
I want to ask “The Silver Fox” CR how he felt when JM used him as a murder mannikin during JA cross-exam ..and he just kept typing without a ruffled feather! (Was he fore-asked?)

At this rate I don’t feel that she has anything else to say. She has repeated her lies non stop and she will never ” remember” what happened when she killed him that day. I agree that by her talking so much she she is continuing to add new lies so this is good for the jury to see. However if the jury can’t already see that she is a bold faced liar who murdered Travis in a cold hearted jealous rage they never will. Keeping her on the stand is just fulfilling her desire to be in the limelight. I think it’s time to make her sit down and move on with this case.

I agree with your comments but they got me thinking about the jury’s questions.
I don’t think they’re purposely asking similar questions…each juror has the right to ask their questions and are not allowed to discuss the case amongst themselves. I don’t think they’re aware of the redundancy beforehand.
For sure though, the more she talks and embellishes the more her deception iis exposed.
deballyn – you’re right – jurors cannot discuss case/testimony among themselves yet – so makes sense they don’t know what others jurors are asking and if it’s essentially same question…..
I think keeping her on the stand to continue her lies will help the jury sentence her to death. I’ve heard some experts say it will establish a relationship with Jody so they will feel bad about giving her death, but…the more she lies, the more they will see how COLD this woman is.

I posted comment yesterday about how this judge lets JOdi ramble on and on with her answers and why didn’t judge shut her down – however, one observant blogger pointed out that the more Jodi talks the more she tells/makes-up/contradicts herself at times – and blogger is right – if you let Jodi keep talking more and embellishing more – she will trip herself up on previous testimony. With Jodi’s narcississt (sp?) personality/sociopathic she wants to be center stage – the drama – the attention so she just keeps talking more and more with all kinds of little details never mentioned before……
