Yesterday we were treated to a full day of Nurmi slowly asking questions. It’s so monotonous. In case we forgot from the other half-dozen days of anal sex testimony, we got to get yet another summary of just who and when Jodi has had anal sex. Why? No one knows. The defense was able to get in a clip of the phone sex with just the parts where Travis said something “sexually deviant” with a corresponding visual aid with big black and white words transcribing the call. How much longer with Nurmi drone on? Nobody knows. But we will be watching and updating in comments. I may miss some of the testimony today so please recap the jury questions if we get there today.

I stand corrected. Jodi and the defense will get one hour to look at the questions before hand. Then the prosecutors will get to look at them for an hour. So she will have a few hours because it will be 2 hours of atty looking and the LUNCHBREAK. So she will have almost four hours of think time before answering.
That seems a little more fair than letting her read over them and form her lies overnight. This will definitely give us an idea of which way the jury is leaning.
For a liar like her, all she needs is a second head start on those jurors. I hope they realized they are dealing with a seasoned liar. I have no doubt the reason she is on the stand is b/c she thinks she such a good liar, that she could fool those people.
I know this is a death penalty case and they go overboard in death penalty cases trying to prove the defendant was given every chance to have a fair trial. But, this is unfair to the VICTIM. It’s like the victim no longer matters and what matters is saving the life of the idiot that killed the victim.
What’s the point of letting the jury ask questions if she is going to know the questions ahead of time. She didn’t know the prosecutors questions.
This trial is bullshit. This girl is going to get off all b/c the sys. wants to be fair to the dumb ass that has no respect for life.
Someone PLEASE blog the questions….I won’t just be sitting at the desk today and won’t be able to see the trial…
Nancy Grace is an idiot and frequently says things that are not true. Not that I don’t try to watch her from time to time for entertainment…but I would rely on her being correct about Jodi getting to preview the questions.

Why should jodi be allowed to “preview” jury questions!?? Just give her time to put her lies together. Something very wrong there. She should have to answer “on the spot,”
My understanding is that the attys preview them not Jodi. Attys have the questions first and can object to them if they have a legal standing to do so.

No other witnesses were able to preview the questions, so I don’t understand why she gets to. Also, Nancy Grace said she got to see them last night, and not just for a short time this morning like the prosecution. That doesn’t sound very fair to me. Hopefully I misunderstood.
My question for Jodi… if it wasn’t your grandparents gun, then why didn’t you & your defense team hire people to search the dessert for that gun? Surely the serial number would prove if she was telling the truth (which I do not believe she is).
My question would be: if he had this propensity toward violence and anger and he had just forced anal sex on you – when he discovered the cd was scratched – why didn’t you leave then or soon afterwards? Why go upstairs and take pictures with someone that had just raped you? There are tons more…including the wrecked car – b/c we know he didn’t kick her ass then but she wants us to believe he did at other times…..Seriously, I can think of 5 questions to ask her.

This is the first time I’m hearing that the gun was in a holster. Where is the holster? Did the police find a holster and was there one stolen from her grandparent’s house?
D, from what i know the holster is a totally new wrinkle in her “it was Travis’ gun” story. there was no mention of any holster before today. the police found an undisturbed closet, and one single shell casing, resting on top of blood in the bathroom. nothing else indicating a gun. no ammo, no holster, no lock-box, nothing. i’m guessing jodi might think adding the holster to the story makes it more credible to the jury. that’s all i got.

I just heard on the live stream video that there are about 100 questions from the jury. They should start reading the questions to her tomorrow. I’m so glad today is the day I had to miss most of the trial so I can hear everything tomorrow!
the defense has RESTED. The jury has submitted the judge says like 100 questions. the judge wants the defense and his lying client to go over the questions and then let the state. well, juan just said he wants to consult with the family as well!

Agree, Susan. Doesn’t seem like this Judge knows what she’s doing or has control of her courtroom.
Does anyone else think that so much of this sex testimony is unnecessary to this case and that it’s just a sick diversion. If I were the Judge, I would rule that most of this is redundant and limit their time. It’s demented voyeurism and really indulges this sick woman’s need for attention.
yes, redundant or never brought into original testimony before so why is she allowing it now with slow as molasses Nurmi….all this sextimony is making everyone sick/annoyed. like I heard last night on recaps – defense wants jury to feel sorry for her but if they start to feel some form of pity for her and then look at the crime scene pictures of Travis – the disgusting brutality of what she did is mindblowing!
Currently he is asking her about things she had at her disposal…things such as cars – in other words she didn’t have to rent one, she had guns at her disposal and didn’t need to steal one from her grandparents…..why she went such a long way to get the car, etc. etc. it’s wasn’t such a long distance out of the way and in fact it was on her way, blah, blah, blah……earlier she was trying to explain why she sent flowers to his grandmother….more bullshit as usual.
