I really didn’t want to look at Andy Cohen anymore last night after watching the Shahs of Sunset reunion last night. But it’s a new day and I want to see what Nene and Cynthia have to say about last night’s episode. Oh my gosh Theo from Road Rules is the bartender! He has some sort of show now!
The vault was good tonight with a clip from The Cosby Show showing Cynthia Bailey as Shanikqua about a billion years ago! I would not have recognized her. Andy asks Nene about her tweets about the other housewives. She said there is a housewife with a past she doesn’t want anyone to know about and Andy wants to know who it is.(Phaedra) Guess the housewife of Atlanta who is always talking about food and don’t need nothing to eat? (Kandi) Guess the housewife of Atlanta that claims they gave me something for my house in LA? I have the cancelled check, I don’t accept gifts. (Kenya). My answers are in parenthesis but Nene is refusing to spill. Andy says he will bring it up at the reunion.
Andy says it looks like the party was still going on in her house. Nene says it was not it was the caters cleaning up. Cynthia says she took one for the team. She is always on time but she stayed with the girls. Nene says Phaedra is lying about her flight making her late, Nene was still over there when Phaedra arrived at 7. Nene also says she was only ten minutes late to the Improv event and editing made it look like she was not there.
Andy is trying to get Nene to do the compliment thing she missed. He starts with Phaedra and Nene says, “WHO?” then she says “smart”. Next is Kenya, Nene says “even smarter.” Porsha? “slow.” Andy says that is not a compliment so she says, “great hair”. Cynthia? “great friend.” Kandi? “can sing.”
Cynthia was asked why she runs back to Kenya with what everyone says. Cynthia says the information has to be transferred and unfortunately she was the one chosen to do that. Cynthia says she was in communication with Nene during the delay. Nene says she purchased dishes and really went out of her way to get things ready for the girls despite her busy work schedule and a lot went into the planning.
Andy talks about Kashgate. Nene says it is about time Kandi direct her anger toward someone appropriate. She feels that Kandi has been very negative towards her. Andy says this season? Nene asks, “Are we watching the same show?” Someone asks if Nene is wearing She By Sheree (lol) and she asks if she ever even got a label. SHADE! For the record she is wearing Marc Jacobs.
Andy asks if Nene watches Beverly Hills and she says not really because of her schedule but she catches little clips and she saw that Lisa got read. Andy seems confused and then she says oh yes she did in Vegas. WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT? IDGI? Someone enlighten me in comments. It seems that Nene doesn’t like Lisa! I guess because Kyle is her girl.
So it seems that Nene doesn’t like Kandi, Porsha, Phaedra or Kenya. No big surprises there. I was shocked she isn’t trying to suck up to Lisa Vanderpump. Perhaps Lisa is not paying her any attention…
I finally made myself watch the new normal. The show is boring and not funny. Nene had about three lines if that. I would think it would take her a good hour to learn her lines. Sorry she is not good.
Agreed, I like Nene’s character on Glee as Coach Roz but The New Normal is unwatchable. The little girl on the show and Ellen Barkin are funny. John Stamos is funny and sexy as hail. Yes hail. Nene cannot enunciate; Other than that the show is not that good. Well I watched one funny episode with that bad little boy from foster care. I didn’t know whether to LOL or beat his little behind. Now he was a good little actor. I try to watch it to support Nene but I wind up watching The Mindy Project instead which a really funny to me.
I like the show but not because of NeNe. The way she talks really igs me – she’s always overcorrecting and it just ends up sounding weird…

don’t you guys remember the big WWHL NYE bash a couple years ago? most of the housewives were there and they took turns on the couch with Andy, two or three at a time. Lisa and Nene ended up on the couch together. everything was cool until Lisa asked Nene about a comment that she made re: all of the RHOBH looking plastic. Nene denied saying such things. Lisa insisted that she said it on an episode of WWHL. Nene said (and i’m paraphrasing) “i wouldn’t know what the RHOBH look like because i don’t watch it. you all are very boring” Lisa was shocked and rebuffed that with a reference to the dinner party from hell (so this was during RHOBH season one) . Nene said “BORING” then proceeded to ignore Lisa for the rest of the show at one point turning her back to her. word on the blogs in the following days were that Kim and Nene (who weren’t getting along at the time – Kim performed Tardy for the Party) were making ridiculous demands backstage and Lisa was heard referring to them as “pedestrian”.
…or it could be that Nene and Kyle are friends and Kyle is feeding her bad information like she does everyone else, lol

I didn’t believe the story about Phaedra’s flight being late either, because event. I thought the producers provided all the girls transportation and they might’ve all arrived at once on the same plane. I could be wrong, because Alex McCord from RHONY said on Rumor Fix producers can set it up to make a person late or early, depending on how they want the storyline to go.
Phaedra missed the flight she was supposed to go on with all the girls. So that’s why she was on another flight that arrived later.
So basically Cynthia is saying Bravo made her tell Kenya what Phaedra said. At least that was my interpretation when I heard her say that. It did seem scripted when they met Kenya at the golf course.

I think no one is denying that Nene has come a long way in her career, but does she have to act so “above everyone”? I think she is forgetting which ghetto she came from. Someone else on here said something about climbing the ladder to success. Nene is stepping on people on her way 1/2 way up the ladder and she is not even at the top. Well Nene tweeted to someone yesterday she gave a check to Kenya but she does not accept gifts (assuming she has lost some memory of her last season accepting gifts from that short Italian man) so that’s right. The tweet ab asking for a plate was obviously kandi since she was asking for food last night. I’m for sure the one with the secret is Phaedra concerning all that mess with her supposed to be helping out Apollo with his crimes or worse (wouldn’t be surprised)…. Anywho I’m sorta over Nene now. I hope she hangs up her short wig at the end of this season and bows out.
Ryan Murphy took a liking to Nene and decided to give her a guest spot on Glee and then a role on The New Normal. So if Ryan falls out of love with Nene or stops creating new shows, her “acting career” is over. She’s acting like she’s the toast of Hollywood…she’s not.
Co-sign. I have seen her “act” on New Normal and she sounds like she’s talking her lines, not really acting out the lines. I can’t wait for this egotistical heifer to be brought down a notch or two.
