It seems as though Kenya Moore is holding herself out as an expert of children’s beauty pageants, and …hookers! Yep. Kenya reached a new public relations low recently by telling In Touch magazine that Honey Boo Boo looks like a hooker! The article quotes Kenya as saying the following, ”Honey Boo Boo is not a role model for young women. Her mother puts her onstage looking like a glorified hooker! Pageants are about having poise and promoting self-esteem and self-worth. When a little girl wears a lot of makeup, fake teeth and extensions, like hookers do — that’s just not appropriate.”
Whatever Kenya, Honey Boo Boo’s show is a smash success in Poland and is set to premiere in Sweden and Italy very soon. She’s also tirelessly working to help her friend sell Girl Scout Cookies via her Facebook page (okay so the Girl Scouts are a bit upset with her for that claiming that she is using her celebrity status to cream all the other kid’s sales in the troop, but really, would anyone buy Girl Scout cookies from Kenya? I think not.) I think someone needs to redneckonize!

Although I love Kenya I am so sick and tired of these adult celebrities talking about this little girl. She is a child and if anyone is responsible for her behavior it would be her mother and Sugar Bear. It especially irritating cause the majority of celebs that have something nasty to say are either pushing crappy products down our throats tor participate in their own reality show that contributes nothing to society. It just shows how unsympathetic we are as a nation towards Children. It’s never okay to be 45-50 + or in in your 20′s talking about a 7 year old that has nothing to do with you.

Giving her opinion as she did is NOT bullying. Just as we’ve all said things about various housewives, here on this blog and other places. That isn’t bullying either.
To say a 7 year old looks like a hooker is being a bully. The opinions all of us have given on this blog about various housewives are opinions about adults not a 7 year old little girl. If she would have said that honey boo boo is not dressed in an appropriate way would have been an opinion but to say that a 7 year old girl looks like a hooker is being a bully.
No, both are ways of stating an opinion. The only difference is the choice of words. Neither is being a bully. I suggest you find a dictionary and learn the true meaning of the words bully and bullying.

I agree with you 100% Kenya is being a bully to the kid cause Honey Bo Bo nor any member of her family have ever spoke negativly or positivly about Kenya More. So for Kenya to open her mouth about a child looking like a hooker is being a bully. A bully is not necessarily a peer an adult can bully a child.

I’d personally like for Mama June to respond saying that not only is her daughter no more overly made up than the average glitz pageant little girl but also that she’s tucking away Alana’s earnings is so her daughter doesn’t end up a pageant has-been on gentlemen’s magazines. But, alas, I’m pretty sure that won’t happen…
AGREED. It is bullying because she is attacking a little girl. No one cares what her opinion of pageant kids is, but if she feels so strongly about it, she could have not singled out Honey BooBoo but instead started a general campaign against the way pageant kids are dressed. Instead she singled HBB out in an effort to be noticed.
I don’t think it’s bullying either, I actually think that Kenya is correct in her statement, but it could have been said in a more PC manner, she didn’t have to say it looks like a hooker, but it does, but as a public figure she needs to figure out how to use her words better and not alienate people
Wow. This is a new low. Anything to stay relavant I guess. Pretty offensive to say this about a sweet little girl. I say we let June loose on her to tear out that fake ass of Kenya’s. This from a woman who went to a semi formal event wearing a cut out ass cheek outfit. I am a bit embarrassed to admit this but I have watched this show (honey Boo Boo) a few times. They really are just themselves. The family is actually pretty sweet. They are close knit and June is hilarious. She hasn’t spent hardly any of the money either. Instead she has it deposited into accounts for her four children grandaughter and grandfather. It’s only a few grand an episode.. Kenya is such a hateful negative witch. Fake boyfriend, broke ass looser. She won Miss USA twenty years ago and still it’s all she talks about. I hope to hell she doesn’t come back next year. I am on the verge of not watching this RHW show too along with NJ which I already quit about half way thru last season. Usedtobe 718 said this already but it says it all, Now twirl away.,

But in all fairness, I read it as more a slam of the mother than Honey Boo Boo herself; saying that the mother dresses her that way.

Guess Kenya never watched Toddlers and Tiarra’s did she? Dumb or not, the kiddy pageant scene is all about make up and wearing hooker clothes. Kenya herself seems to appear in enough hooker roles herself. Remember that boxing getup she did on RHOA? Straight up hooker style for sure and fit her to perfection.
Agreed and it is never in good taste to imply a 7 year old looks like a hooker – she is SEVEN and wears what iamrealitytvlover has pointed out – that on TandT that is how the majority of the girls compete – with makeup, flippers and fake hair.
