In keeping with the Valentine’s Day theme, South African, Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius apparently had enough of his stunning model girlfriend, Reeva Steekamp , in the wee hours of the morning this Valentine’s Day and gifted her with a deadly bullet. The rumor I am hearing is that he claims he mistook her for an intruder in is fancy pants gated community. Reeva was recently quoted talking about her darling Valentine in a local South African paper. Click through to see her last tweet.
According to South Africa’s Mail & Guardian, “Reeva Steenkamp was reported to have been dating Pistorius for a year. In the social pages of last weekend’s Sunday Independent she described him as having “impeccable” taste.
“His gifts are always thoughtful,” she was quoted as saying.
Some of her last Twitter postings indicated she was looking forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday with him.
“What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow???” she posted.”

The neighbors called the cops, and had done so on other occasions for loud fights. He shot her through the door of the bathroom. Did he think an intruder came in just to use his toilet?
For the record, I don’t believe the ” I thought she was an intruder” defense. There was no sign of forced entry they were both in the house in the wee hours of the morning. Apparently she lived there or stayed there often. I wonder who called the cops?
I guess some questions are best left unasked. As far as the perceived hell that Pistorius, will go through by ‘accidentally’ shooting Reeva; it seems that she may have actually been living in hell given the ‘previous incidences’ that allegedly occurred at the home. I wonder if his ‘other female friend’, who brought and then dropped assault charges against him in 2009, is breathing a sigh of relief?
This is very tragic. It’s tragic no matter how it happened but I really hope it was an accident. Of course if it was, I can’t imagine the hell this man will go thru by shooting to death his g/f by accident. Two young lives forever impacted by such a tragic and unfortunate event. May God be with the both of them and watch over her soul and family….
